Being realistic, EFC has no appeal to anyone as we are a selling club.........

I don't think we would have to give 6 mill for this deal as rodwell is worth in the region of 20 mill. What do you think ed? {Ed024's Note - I would think with wages and all taken into account We would want money plus both players.So Rodders plus 4/5m.

It makes sense for Jay to move to Goodison as his other chasers Sunderland have just signed Ji Dong Wong and Wickham, and given the choice, who would play in the SPL with Celtic?
Could be a good signing as a squad player to give Anichebe/Vellios/Silva a run for their money

Obviously clubs have to sign players purely to freshen up - but I feel our main target this summer should be keeping hold of our stars. Baines, Fellaini, Arteta, Rodwell, Jags.

City signing Clichy from Arsenal which should end their interest in Baines. Could eprhaps spark an interest for the lad from Arsenal but don't think he would fancy a move down there.

Sell Yobo for £4m and the Yak for a similar amount and perhaps Billy - then make a £15m bid for Sturridge or someone of his class and we are done for the summer. We already have a great team

From what i can see, N'zogbia appears to be set for a move to Goodison and is only waiting for the payment from Yobo to be made to Wigan.
The Long stories you talk about i just don't think will happen, i can see stoke, villa, newcastle etc. beating us to him.
And it looks like the City-Baines thing has blown over, i highly doubt they'd chase Clichy (seems like they'll get him) and still put in that bid for Baines.
Although Felli is good and strong, Rodwell is a better prospect so i would like to see Felli go to Chelsea with Sturridge +5mil in return

No way..I would keep feli anyday of the week.although rodwell is amazing prospect I would keep feli.well don't want to sell either but this is it for us during these stupid market prices.

Just heard we should be making a loan signing tomorrow morning, A centre half called eric dier from sporting lisbon, apparently a great prospect. Don't know how true ths is, but my source is strong

we wont be swapping baines for man city cast offs we would be wanting around 35 million for him i reakon.hes at least 10 million better than lescott and i doubt we, d sell even if they offered that amount. we couldnt afford to pay there cast offs wages anyway.

Here, here to that. I am fed up with all these so called fans moaning that we have not signed anyone yet while other teams have. If you look at the other teams spending it's purely because they have an inferior squad to us and need to spend that silly money just to catch up. I would personally be happy if we keep hold of all our better players and maybe add 1 or 2 decent signings but not be held to ransom and pay stupid money. I truly believe that our fully fit first team plus the decent back ups we have can push for 4th with a good start. Please everyone, HAVE FAITH IN MOYES and get off Kenwright's back. Does anyone remember Peter Johnson and what he nearly did to our great club?

Sorry to sound off hear, We are a club that are known for bargin bin transfers then make them into stars. cahill, lescott, Arteta, Baines. Plus we can bring through young footballers like rodwell and rooney. Big money transfers are what got portsmouth in trouble, Spurs, liverpool, and Villa have to sell to buy due to wage bills.

We need one or two new faces in to keep the top 6 fight going thats all, they have to be the right player not big transfer tags.
