Just seen it posted on BBC Sport news on line that the club are investigating an alleged street fracas involving Jordan Pickford. No other details.

Nothing to investigate as the footage clearly shows it’s him.

But you can’t forget that whilst he’s a footballer he’s also a young lad and had obviously been drinking, also other clips show Newcastle fans giving him abuse all night so he obviously snapped.

But on the other hand he’s England’s no1 and should know better and not to put himself in them kind off situations to begin with.

To me it seems like a few idiots where antagonising him to purposely get a reaction on camera and unfortunately succeeded.

He needs to learn from this with his arrogance and immaturity that he’s show on/ off the pitch.

Agree with your comments. He’s got to learn.

The way he tries to punch clear when balls come into the box, don’t think anyone’s got anything to worry about.

Evidently some idiot had some comments about his partner who was with him so not sure if it was not justified and anyway was evidently over in ten seconds.

That was definitely the best performance in the last three years. To be trueful I thought we might collapse in the second half, no such way the best 93 minutes we have played, credit to everyone concerned.

Have to agree, poor as West Ham was, we played a part in their performance.

Going out of the f a cup seems to be a corner turned and a lot of lessons learned, could not fault the performance and looking good for the future if we continue the way we are playing.

Morning Blue Mike, it’s not a case of wanting City to win just the lesser of two evils!

Unfortunately the Liverpool fans I do know well are utter Gobrubbishs when it comes to footie and I will never here the end of it if they win

City fans - the old guard have seen the dark times but the vast majority of city fans I know came along with the money and have no idea what it’s like to go through the battles and having neighbors rub it in your face at every turn!

If the Liverpool fans I knew had a bit more Class about them I would wish them luck they have built a good squad and a much I hate to admit it play good footie. But sadly they don’t so for self preservation anyone else but them.

I don't really care about either of them to be honest. Some Liverpool supporters are good guys and nothing wrong with a little bit of good natured banter. The ones you describe I just ignore.
The way we played against West Ham is the way I want us to play, some great stuff and enjoyable to watch. More of that on a consistent basis and the rewards will follow.
By the way I spent eight years working in Bradford and living in Bingley a great place to live.

You have it spot on Yorkie, jovial when they are winning, different when it goes wrong, turn into a bear pit, including manager and supporters alike, where we tear into our team or manager, with them it’s everyone but them selves why they lost, from refs, to other teams getting lucky.

Have a few Red mates who are spot on, support their team and give credit to Everton on the good Days we have, sadley others who probs never even been to Anfield take great pleasure in just trolling and talking rubbish about Everton. yes we have some supporters as well like that.

Then you have the media, biased, the celeb hangers on who will be out in their droves, if Liverpool win it, Jimmy Tarbuck, Stan Boardman.

We are still getting the five times, and that was over a decade ago, Everton dropping a 11 point lead in 86 and still feeling the pain now.

So please forgive me for wanting to inflict the same pain on our neighbours, of letting a 10 point lead slip

So for me City all the way.

I have always said the best incentive for Everton to be successful is if Liverpool are. If it motivates us to be successful too then it hopefully means we go one better and are 1st and they 2nd. So look across the park Mr Morishi and feel the pain we all feel and let's hope it motivates all the board and staff to want to challenge and be at the top once again.

Morning fellow Blues,

Great performance at the weekend! shame spurs couldn’t hold on but I suppose Man City winning the league on the last day by a point will do!

Personally I am a massive fan of the FA cup and would love us to win it again but in truth getting beat by Millwall has given Silva nearly 3 weeks with the players and it shows.

They are noticeably fitter, more organised, quicker in transition and I think the most important they look confident with a little swagger in there step!

I hate to say it but for the long term plan being dumped out of the cup this year might have been a blessing in disguise!

A good finish to this season and then hand it over to Brands and the back room staff to implement a structured pre season and get deals done early doors.

we could hit he ground running next season with the Goodison crowd behind them.

I was born and raised in Liverpool so know as well as anyone the rivalry and heartbreak that comes with Liverpool winning when we don't. However I for the life of me can't understand why any Everton supporter would want City to win the league. A team that probably would be in the lower divisions without the Arab billions and a new ground given by the tax payers. If Liverpool win the league good luck to them, they deserve it. I in the meantime I will focus on Everton, the only club worth supporting.

Hamilton 77 winning goal disallowed, Hanson’s handball 84 Final not given, Jimmy case ending Nultys career, Liverpool fans doing a conga at ht Villa Park when Wimbledon were leading to send Everton down, stevie g issuing a Red card speech to get Hibbert sent off, the lescott penalty turned down, Hutchisons winning goal ruled out as it was about to hit the back of the net, McCallister pinching a good 12 yards for his free kick winner, Klopp racing onto the pitch at Anfield after 96th min winner.

Finally the greatest side for a long time cut short in its prime, losing the top scorer in 86, the manager and various players, moving to Rangers, to play European football.

Within three years, the club that should and would have dominated for years had been broken, never to return.

Hope that is enough Bluemike for me not wanting our neighbours to win it.

One last one has to be the Kop banner held aloft, with a European cup with 86 Bucharest on it.

It’s been a great race for the title going back and forth and whoever wins it hopefully will be the deserved winners and won’t be down to some dodgy decisions that may have cost Cardiff their place in the premiership and also cost us the sale of Niasse! 😡.

Flippin eck bignev that even makes me growl! All those injustices. how about the Gerrard tackle straight legged two footed and right into Naysmiths groin about 3 days after the ball had gone. and no red card!

Not forgetting Kuyt’s two footed waist high assault on Phil Neville that didn’t even get a yellow card!

Also Suarez getting rid of Mirralles before half time, in the 3 all Goodison Derby then getting Distin down his back leg in the same game, yet still no second yellow card.

It is hard to digest the above the amount of times we have suffered, but the one that tops the lot is the disgusting banner with 86 Bucharest on, had that been Everton who got the ban handed out, I would be ashamed of such a banner being held up at Goodison, doubt I could ever live with the shame.
