Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

The David Moyes contract saga shouldn't be allowed to drag on. If we still fancy ourselves as a progressive club, we should know Moyes' true intentions by now and, if he is exiting, recruit accordingly. A new manager should be given as much time with the squad as possible to ensure we hit the ground running next season.

I respect Moyes, but there's no need for him to wait until May to decide his future. He maintains being in Europe is pivotal to him staying, but our form this season hasn't been good enough for CL football (brutal, but true) and he has to shoulder some responsibility for that.

We keep saying that Moyes is keeping us hanging on by not signing a new contract, has he been offered one?
With the talk of major investment likely, are new investors looking to bring in a higher profile manager to attract players?

Hardly a good example to players is it; if the manager is holding the club to ransom. He's talking like he's bigger than the club. Well there are plenty of other candidates out there!

Is it true if Chelsea win the cup and finish 5th then 6th place and not the runners up qualify

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Not sure but should imagine so, the cup winners always get Europe so surely another place. Fancy Chelsea finishing top 4 though.

arsenal fan in peace, lots of news about fellaini, just wondering if the toffee faithful knew anything?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I know its the first of April. Does that help?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm guessing you mean there's a lot of talk about him going to Arsenal? Well I have honestly not heard anything. In my opinion he probably wouldn't go to Arsenal, because he has a big ego and no offence, he'd want to win trophies. Good luck for the rest of the season anyway.

Arsenal aren't even close to being in the running. Can't see Wenger wanting him.

Everton and Manchester United have opened talks about the possible return of Wayne Rooney, Kenwright is willing to pay £30m to bring him back home with the new investment money.

Believable1 Unbelievable17

Fergie just confirmed this after the Chelsea game as well. This one is happening. Don't want him back though.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Cannot see this happening but would like it to - as long as we don't blow too much money on one player

The fact the Wayne would return is fantastic

Mike

i take it this is a joke?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 million? He's fast approaching 30 years of age and that is more than we got for him! If we do offer £30million UTD will take our arm off for it!

Believable1 Unbelievable5

It isn't a rumour, it is a complete joke spouted by a crap website to fool all the gullible clowns into believing it. Ignore it mate.

I googled his name and nothing came up

Google him again, he's brewstered, worth in excess of £1 billion made from similar methods to abramovich.
i know it's probably not going to happen but it it does it'll be amazing. a mate of mine is a big man city fan, been there through thick and thin, good times and bad, he said that when city got taken over it was unbelievable. he went to bed one night thinking city were going to be lucky to stay up and woke up the next morning to find out all his christmases had come at once. everytime I put fuel in my car he thanks me for giving a contribution towards his team. Is loaning out our young talent really good for them. Just watched Lundstrom playing for Doncaster, and most of the time the ball just by past him in midfield. It's not what you would call pass and move. Same happened to Barkley when he went to Sheffield Wed. Surely it is better to keep them in and around the first team. Play them as a reserve squad, get them playing proper football. Then maybe they could step up when needed. Moan over.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Interesting point Twoold.

We should loan our players to prem teams, like wishire, cleverly, welbeck, sturridge, lukaku all improved when on loan, true blue efc for life, ps, takeover talk not true,

Just heard that Moyes is wanted by utd next season as fergie is retiring. Aparently were looking at Steve Mclaren, Mark Huges and Martin O'Neil. You heard it here first!

Believable1 Unbelievable12

Can we stop with all the April Fools posts. First it was the made up takeover, and now we are to believe that Manchester United want moyes. That is taking it just too far.

after a few months of silence re the board and moyes at least now things seem to be" hotting up"
Kenwright has apparently told moyes his budget for next season which by moyes own admission very rarely happens. moyes saying he wants a breakdown of that?
At least there appears to some funds available.
I think there is genuine investment on the horizon.
If moyes stays then it will be because he is given sufficient funds to take us to the next level.
If he goes it because kENWRIGHT has failed again.
If that's the case then I think there will be a revolt.
Supporters have had enough now.
Should be an interesting few weeks ahead!

I must say, I'm a bit perplexed by the growing 'Moyes out -Martinez in' brigade. Wigan almost go down every season and this could be their year. Wigan only really play the last 5-10 games of the season and are lucky that it has always been enough to scrape through. Is an annual relegation scrap what we want for our club?

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Correct son, next season they'll be the ' Martinez out laudrup in brigade' it's embarrassing I thought we took pride in not being like the rs but it seems SOME are. These so called supporters must think they no better than davie and are just conspiracy theorists and pessimists. IMWT 4th is still realistic ( tough but realistic) 11 points off 2nd, 6 off 3rd, not bad for a club with half the budget of the teams around us
