I have to say I really love these transfer windows, non of us on here or in the papers have a clue who Marco and Marcel are targeting, let alone who we are prepared to let go, the way our management goes about their business is to be commended.

Best to just try to forget about it, do not believe any rumours, and no player has signed until the deal is confirmed by the club, then and only then is it true.

Charles Stevenson (normally very good and reliable) on Twitter reckons Everton have told Leipzig the only way they'll sign Lookman is if they sell Werner to us. Any Ed's know anything about this? Would be an amazing signing if true and a hell of a statement, but just can't see it personally. Cheers.

Agustein would be a much more realistic option than Werner. To paraphrase what Ed said, why would Werner come to us when he could go to any team that he wants.
