Why is everyone giving up and saying Fellaini will leave in Jan? David Moyes clearly stated in his press conference last Friday that no big players will be leaving this Summer. The likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal won't come in with a £40m bid. Have optimism and remain positive. Felli is staying.

Haha that's the best joke I've heard all year! He might be your best player but not in a million years is he worth £40m! You fools! {Ed025's Note - if carrol was £35m....downing £20m...henderson £16m..and anonymous joe allen £15m.....then felli is a snip!at £40m, as he is worth more than all of them put together...in future please engage your brain, before you put your big gob into gear!..

Agree0 Disagree0

He's worth whatever Davey Moyes says he's worth, and since he's got just under 4 yrs on his contract then that's at least £35m. Going by Liverpool prices he's worth £40 quite comfortably

Sorry but I have to agree Felli is not worth £40 mill he's probably only worth £39,999,999.99 I just would not pay that extra 1p totaly unacteptable. I would not sell him anyway. COYB

Ha ha ha ha great reply that Ed. Well and truly put that Kopite in his place.

Agree0 Disagree0

It has been mentioned here (Ed025) that Carroll cost the RS 35m. that to me was a ridiculous fee, however this is a fact now and Everton football club would be foolish if they did not use is it a damn good reason to up the ante...

So anyone who thinks Felli isn't worth 40m. needs to clue themselves up...

I've noticed a few posts saying 'if we sold Fellaini I'd get'... I wouldn't want to sell Screech but I thought I'd join in the fun and have a go. Sooooo...if we sold Fellaini for £30m. I would like to see:

Butland: £6m.
Strootman: £12m.
Gameiro: £7m.
Holtby: £5m. (depending on his contract situation)
Odidja-Ofoe: Loan

Holtby would be an amazing coup for the price. Arsenal are also into him aswell but, like Mirallas has proved, we are more likely to get him for 1st XI football and he is an Everton Fan. COYB IMWT

Agree0 Disagree0

The worth of anyone is what they are prepered to pay its a valuation anyone can make but the buyer and seller at the present if toures 50 carrol 35 hes worth 80 mil because there crap its foolish to even think about it tom

After the fellaini ban there has been a lot of comments/news article saying the refs should give fouls and penalties for defenders holding and shirt pulling. I think the FA should be looking at the managers the headlines have been fellaini is unplayable so managers have been ordering their players stop fellaini playing by holding, impeding, pulling his shirt and constantly fouling him. It started at west brom and every game since. Pullis is always giving holier than thou speaches about divers while ordering his players to kick sh*t out of the other teams. thgfest

Believable3 Unbelievable0

You have to give Pullis some credit. He has turned Stoke around from being the one dimensional throw in team who hardly ever scored a decent goal. Look at the one the beanpole scored last season. Yes they are a physical team, but they are playing more football now. With regards to the Felli ban, Stoke do hold players on all set pieces and they get away with it. So who can blame them? The holding lark has been increasing of late and now all teams do it. You could flip a coin on almost every set piece as to whether its a free kick to the defending team or a penalty. Of course us being Everton have the decisions go against us (ie City pen) and then nothing given for us against Stoke. Until the FA decide or in fact FIFA decide to start awarding penalties it will continue. With the odd one being given against us! Degsypulford

Just a thought would you sell Fellaini if you were going to get James McCarthy, Kevin Gamiero and Dres Mertens?? {Ed025's Note - for me yes..

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Definately not, McCarthy is a good player but is nowhere near Felli's standard, Gameiro is a clinical finisher but an on-form Jelavic is better, Mertens has a terrible attitude and is just a poor man's Mirallas.

if fellani does go in january i would like to see us sign adam lallana from saints, jack butland and a striker jus my wishlist not saying we are

toffee shaun {Ed025's Note - a couple of good players there shaun..

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I just can't see Southampton transferring Lallana.
I just can't see where we'll find £6M+ for Butland.
I can see us getting a striker, but only on loan.
WonHungLo

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's implying that we would use the Fellaini money in theory to buy them so that's were it's coming from
BlueClarkey

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to think we'd aim a little higher than the likes of Lallana, though Butland is a good shout. We should be looking at players like Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Dembele and Michu IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Lallana falls under the same category as them, brilliantly under-rated player. {Ed025's Note - i really rate him as well..

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Oh dear

Fluffy01016

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as he's not a 15 minute wonder.

Sorry.......! {Ed025's Note - he was roasting defenders early on in the season...but he,s recently gone off the boil..
