In the void between games being played I've put on hockey final (Cmon GB) it's a bit like football (well sort of) , just one problem, after six pints, I can't see the ball!

I don't understand so many saying the last thing they want is to sign Hart either on loan or permanent. One post stated he'd throw away his season ticket!
For me, I just don't understand that at all. I have complete faith and confidence in Koeman, Walsh, Moshiri, Kenwright and everyone else behind the scenes. I think we should all stop worrying about prices, wages etc, statements like I prefer Butland/ Begovic and all that and just go with what they decide to do. Would Hart improve the team immediately? Yes, I think so but infinitely more important is if Koeman believes so. People saying Stek is better. Koeman brought him in and knows exactly what he offers and what his limitations are better than any fan so why worry about it? Let them do their job. Every signing so far looks like they will enhance the team. What more can we ask for? Some people on here act like they're going to be asked to contribute towards fees/ wages or conversely that we should sign players at any expense.
I've never been more excited/ optimistic about the future in the last 30years of supporting the blues.

A pleasing thing for me at the mo is the fact that Our recent signings have said things like Coming here was a "no brainer" we seem to be more of an attraction as opposed to lennon's face in those pics last year. Hope this extends to names such as Heller, slimani and ghezzel.

Hello Edds I was reading yesterday that Lukaku had told Bolaise (albeit his cousin) to come to Everton. If true wouldn't that indicate Roms thinking about not leaving us? Don't bite me head off please if I'm wrong it's just a thought I had crossed my mind. Thanks Edds 💙.

I don't think I've ever known Everton fans to be so divided over a potential signing in Hart. In the some papers today a loan deal is being talked about and in others 30m minimum is the price, personally I think 30m is too much for a keeper of his quality but at 29 there's room for argument that he hasn't peaked yet. So I'm very much on the fence. Personally I'd be a lot more comfortable with a loan to buy, give us a chance to see how he does first and if he excels snap him up next window, but there's always the chance he'll up his stock again and end back at city so it's swings and round about's really. My question is to the fans unconvinced with him, would you be happy with him on loan or would you prefer to just give Stek a try in goal this season. I have a sneaky suspicion that unless we sell lukaku to Chelsea, they won't be doing a deal on Begovic with us.

If we are going to spend that much on a keeper then why not bid for butland he could be our number 1 for 15 years! And he's already better than hart.

My preference is to give Stekelenburg at least till January but I would also be happy if Hart came in on loan with MC paying the majority of his wages and no loan fee but I can see that happening.

Why everyone thinks Butland is some amazing Keeper is beyond me. He makes lots of errors and is too young for me as a Keeper. The best Keepers are those with experience who have learnt from their mistakes. If you look at Hart record, it is a fantastic CV, so much experience too in all competitions and Internationals. We won't get a better Keeper than him that will be available, any with records better than him will be tied down to ither Top Clubs or simply not for sale. Its a no brainer to go for Hart really.

Is it me or is the transfer window getting a bit boring now, I'm fed up with reading about us being linked with every Tom dick and Harry, it's nice when you read something and it has some truth, now it's anyone's guess, I'd like us to get the lyinad, stoke lad and if honest salamini or what ever way you spell it, then let's concentrate on doi g good things in the premiership.
