Oveiado is a nice guy, but since his injury, he has never been the same player, if we are to be without baines for any length of time I realey think mori is a much better option, does not give us that much going forward, but he is a far better defender, plus he now plays there for his country, who have a hard side to get into.

Mori is decent and probably deserves a better look in than he's getting imo. At the same time I'm not totally convinced by him yet. At times he looks nervous when he's put under pressure. I kinda feel like I'm waiting for him to make a massive blunder.

He is however innocent until proven guilty and therefore should be given a chance. Good threat in opposition box for crosses. Knows how to score headers which we don't have in abundance at the moment.

It just makes you wonder why we let Galloway go out on loan. He looked good when covering for Baines last season and that was in a defence organised by RM. I do think that Mori deserves a chance now as Oviedo has my nerves shot with his defending, he does jump into a tackle to quickly sometimes.

Mori does give us a forward threat. But mostly at set pieces. His career has always had a high scoring ratio. Much better than Oviedo.

Mori has been awful at left back whenever he's played there. His only start at left back this season was against Norwich and he wasn't good.

Oviedo for all of his limitation has been okay and part of a solid back four. No need to change if it ain't broke and Baines will be back soon enough.

Remember the only goal at the weekend came from a cross from the right.

I agree BlueJohnUns but the whole team was bad against Norwich so it's a little unfair on Mori to judge him this season on that one game. I agree he was bad anytime he played left back but new manager, new beginnings.

Give him a chance I say. He he f's up just put Oviedo back in. Have to admit I'd like to see Galloway back in an Everton shirt. I think he has a good future.

You're right about the whole team being poor but if you are trying to make an impression you make sure you perform at least.

I like Mori but would prefer Galloway back. He fits Koeman more than Oviedo and Mori were the defenders defend first.

Are we just making room for him though when really he's a centre back who won't budge Jags and Williams.

Probably are just making room for him. Can't see him getting in before Jags or Williams. This season at least. I even feel Holgate or Galloway could be as good an option as Mori for centre back too.

Not saying I want him to leave but it looks like he will. He seems ambitious and doesn't seem like the type of lad that would be happy to sit on the bench.

He'll want to keep his international place. If he doesn't get game time at Everton (which I can't see he will) he'll move on.

Be interesting to see what happens with him.

It'd be a shame but I wouldn't hold it against him. He wants to play football and will go anywhere to get it. Shame Niasse isn't the same type of character.

United done a number on them last night and maybe if they had decent wingers could have won the game. Watching it i noticed they don't really have a plan B when the usual tactics aren't working. Be interesting in the Derby if they are still using Milner as a LB as Bolasie will punish him with pace. I didn't see nothing special about them last night myself and don't get the big sky love in with them.

United did a job on them and Mourinho is a genious tactician in the press, yet Kouman and Everton were lucky against City.

{Ed041's Note - it's almost as if the press are filled with ex Liverpool players....

Interesting fact as well, Milner is there top scorer with 4 goals so far, all of which were converted penalties. We've had 1 spot kick awarded so far this season.
