I wanted Liverpool - they will be cocky. They will have that 3-0 result still in their heads and we will have a even greater desire to beat them. It will be our day. {Ed025's Note - lets not get ahead of ourselves mate...we still have a hard tie at the SOL, ....but if we beat them...i think we have the measure of the R/S..

Fellaini look knackered yesterday. I think if Gibson had of been fit things may have been different in the derby and yesterday too. I am confident for the replay. {Ed025's Note - so am i mate....they have got 2 players back...but the difference gibbo makes to us is amazing..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I must be on my own in this, but I don't think Gibson brings much to the team apart from his shooting. We miss Donovan more than anyone - he brought leadership as well as attacking threat. Without him we don't look confident and the opposition suss this pretty quickly.

Don't quite know when it happened. But Johnny Heitinga has really started to show his class.

Telling the manager you don't want to come off (as Johnny did against Sunderland) is normally seen as a sign of disobedience and poor teammanship. But you could feel it was a more him saying 'I won't allow us to concede, so leave me on!'

Fair play to the lad, he is playing out of his skin. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate ....he has been immense for us this season..

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Distin won't sign his new deal with us by the end of the season so he can go on a free to psg or some team like that

Agree0 Disagree0

Pienaar wont stay unless
1. he wants to stay
2. tottenham let him go
3. we have more than peanuts to give them

I think Sunderland will feel a bit of pressure up there for the replay. We really do have the players to shut up shop which will be handy should we get on the score sheet first.

I'm going for away day bliss. COYB

Itll be tight but think we will just win it 3 0 a sess hatrick

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you on our site, go back to your own site, im glad your confident because you will have to play better and create more chances if your gonna beat us, and its a chance to get revenge on the sh*te in the semis so believe me, we will win

Anyone know r
Ticket allocation 4 replay

Agree0 Disagree0

SAFC 2 Everton 1, we have Sess, Cattermole and Richardson back, we beat arsenal 2-0 at home last round, more of the same against you lot

Agree0 Disagree0

Oooooooo Sessegnon We've got a BADASS over here, Cahill is better than him! IMWT We're on the march with Moyes' army we're all going to Wembley and we're gonna shake em up when we win the FA Cup because Everton are the greatest football team! {Ed025's Note - i see it as a date with destiny! we are supposed to be there...believe in the blues..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sess has more assissts and more goals than anyone in your team so I perhaps wouldn't be so dissmissive of him!

Hi blues, didn't get to the game because of work heard we should of had 2 pens is it true ed? Tezza or wizard ? {Ed001's Note - if they had been given Sunderland couldn't really have complained.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Hi mate. The O'Shea handball was a deffo pen - I didn't believe it when Marriner turned it down. The first one, when Drenthe was tripped, would certainly have been given for the home side if it was at Mould Trafford or Analfield, but Royston had been a little bit theatrical for a couple of previous challenges. Some refs get the hump over this sort of thing & he was one of them. It's going to be difficult at the SOL, but I'm hoping our fantastic team spirit will pull us through. COYB!

Gotta beat sunderland first but its a great motavation for the players

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to agree; if the incentive of beating the RS at Wembley doesn't get the boys up for the replay then nothing will. Everything happens for a reason.

Behind Blue Eyes

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when did sunderland become man utd more press hype for the irish midget not lost to them for over 10yrs plus drew up there in december with there full team we will win and get revenge at wembley against the rs {Ed025's Note - i believe your right mate....COYB..

I think we can still do it but it's going to be tough. I was really impressed with Maclean for them. Fast, loves running at people and plays with a lot of fight.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I think it will be difficult to seperate the 2 teams, penalty shootout maybe?? {Ed025's Note - i think 1-0 to us..

Agree0 Disagree0

Belfast toffee i hope your right ed but going to be a cracking game

I cant really remember them causing howard or our defence any problems after the goal, we just couldn't get that second goal. I think it might be better for us playing them at there place, they will have to be more attacking becasue they are at home and i think that will suit us. Keep the faith, We are still in this COYB!!

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Yeah but weve got 3 players back and sess is brilliant {Ed025's Note - sess is a very good player....but expect a real fight on your hands mate...we let you off the hook once...it wont happen again..

Agree0 Disagree0

They didnt cause that many problems, they had 2 shots on target all game, we hit the bar, and had very good chances with cahill, jelavic, drenthe, and jonny, come on you blues

Agree0 Disagree0

HA'WAY THE LADS!! we had 3 1st team players missing who are our heart of the team Sess, Catts and Richardson expect a narrow sunderland win!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but Sunderland's support is dreadful probably won't even be a sellout the mighty Evertonians will be there cheering on our team! COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderlands support is dreadful ? You really have no clue !

Agree0 Disagree0

Well everton on average have 83% of there ground full and Sunderland have 80%. Yours being 33235 on average and ours 38689. Perhaps you can enjoy the facts before aimlessly spouting crap!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if our stadium of light only had the same capacity of your ground, what would the facts be then??

I thought a big disappointment yesterday was Osman who had no influence on the game, especially after he played so well against Spurs the previous week.

The thing to remember, though, is that the 3 players we brought in in January, and who gave us all a big lift, are now missing; Donovan - gone home, Pienaar - cup-tied and Gibson injured. Hopefully Gibson will be back soon as he makes a massive difference to Fellaini. {Ed025's Note - i think your right mate, he does miss gibbo...leon did not look match fit to me...which is why i think he should have played the full 90 on tuesday!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Osman or sam dingle couldnt get in the box to trip over himself

I love Drenthe. For me his faults are part of what make him exciting to watch. He has that selfish, reckless streak in him. Occasionally he'll shoot from distance or run with the ball into a crowded penalty area. It's frustrating when it doesn't come off. But with his skill and pace sometimes it will come off. Actually I think Moyes values his qualities more than some of you. Moyes has spoken about how Drenthe's unpredictability can be an asset, and the fact that Drenthe's featuring in so many games speaks for itself. {Ed025's Note - there is no doubt he is a talent mate..but he can be very frustrating at times!, he is only young though, and new to the prem..so hopefully he will learn..

I thought Fellaini was great yesterday. Brilliant control of the ball, as ever, he always shields the ball so well and rarely gives it away cheaply. {Ed025's Note - then we beg to differ my friend!..

Believable2 Unbelievable2

You must have been watching a different game to me then mate-another ineffectual game from him I regret to say and I really think that time and again he fails to perform to an expected level of a £15M type player-we should have bought his mate Dufour who is ten times the player Fellaini is ! {Ed025's Note - im not knocking the guy...but when he has to concentrate more on the defensive side of his game..he loses his creativity, when gibbo sits in there, he seems to have more freedom to express himself.

Why on earth have rangers only jus gone up for sale and already have four buyers lined up an were a pl club an have been up for sale much longer an have not been bought out that has to tell us that bk does not want to sell up. Kenwright out asap . {Ed025's Note - i can think of 120,000,000 good reasons mate!

Who is Junior? {Ed025's Note - i think he means francisco junior...our portugese lad..

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a proper rubbish team mate, and aswell as that in 5 years Fellaini will still only be 28! Where has he gone in your team!?
Plus Baines, Heitinga and Jelavic will still be in there early 30's!

A great FA Cup tie, pretty evenly balanced. I think we played well - but so did they. Unfortunately, once again, the twelfth man was on their side - some dreadful refereeing decisions, and i was relieved at the end that none of our lads walked. MOTM for me was Sylvain Distin - relentless and solid in defence, he seemed to be running on empty towards the end.
