Thanks Ed for finally letting me post on here your a true blue like us all, but can I say to all obviously passionate Evertonians who take time to come on here to read and give their opinion let's hope we do make some signings and lose no one but don't let it ruin your summer, we will still be in Goodison 18th August supporting whatever 11 we field. Ever ton forever {Ed025's Note - thats for sure mate..

How come you never post my opinions on here, Is it because someone owns this website for every team and you are encouraged to post comments that everybody laughs at that are obviously not off fans who regularly attend games and are complete rubbish, because I know I have made many valid comments and you haven't post any, and I follow this site everyday so know how many comments are made and it's not enough to blank me {Ed025's Note - i really dont know what you are on about..

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Is this a joke message maybe you never get a message posted because you post a load of crap the people who post on here come across to me as people who have followed the blue for a lifetime and love the club just because they (and me) like to instill a little humor in our postings deosnt make them less valid and as for not being a true fan because they dont attend games that just pisses me off I admit i only get to a couple home games a season because I work on Saturdays and live in Yorkshire but my love for the blues is not measured but how many times ive seen them at goodison. so if your post here is anything to go by then ED is correct not to sully our page with your drivel, oh and scroll down a bit further you`ll see the bit where I sign my post unlike you

Agree0 Disagree0

I was born and raised in North London, my dad is a scouser and i was brought up a blue. Always went to 2 - 4 home games a year growing up, coming from London. Then i went to uni in Edinburgh, did the round trip every other week for 2 years. Finished Uni and worked in Melbourne Australia for 3-4 years, watched every game on tv at around 12-3am on sunday mornings! Then i met my wife who is Swedish and now i live in Stockholm, again get to watch every game on tv live on saturday/sunday but still try and get over to Goodison 2 or 3 times a season. Now i have proabaly in total been to far less games than many on here and i have never lived in Liverpool but my love for the blues is genetic its in my dna and my little boy who is only 2 so only ever lived in Sweden will be the same.

You lot should try living in Runcorn - the town that time forgot. Wow Premier League really like that Everton v Chelsea end of season game

ToffeeAL {Ed025's Note - it could be a champions league decider..

Agree0 Disagree0

From looking at the list, apart from the first game (still can win it/goodish record in recent times) up till November i can't see us losing much at all if we can get 1 or 2 signings, so with that moment we get when on our runs, top 4 can be a real gooer

If rangers reform as a new company does that mean that the players contracts become invalid making them in effect "free agents"? Naismith on a free would do nicely {Ed025's Note - it would mate...but im not sure how it works to be honest..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Iv heard 2 different opinions from officials
1. the contracts are in someway linked to the SFA and they are granted ownership of any contracts. This is possibly a good thing as they will not want as much as rangers themselves would.
2. the contracts would be transferred over to the new club which would be started, in the same way that the administrators have confirmed that their previous cups could be- dont really understand how this could be done but not my field.

both of these sound a bit sketchy to me but thats what iv heard

Agree0 Disagree0

I was under the impression that those liquidating Rangers are still calling in all payments due to them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Taken from BBC website:
Under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, all employees have the legal right to transfer to the new employer on their existing terms and conditions of employment and with all their existing employment rights and liabilities intact.
It could prove problematic for the newco to maintain the level of wages currently being paid to players if the club's income is reduced. Similarly, employees are under no obligation to accept the terms of the transfer to the new company and can terminate their employment contracts.
Effectively, this means that when Rangers is liquidated, all current players would be free to seek new clubs and there would be no transfer fees due to the newco. However, there could be complications with player contracts under Fifa, Uefa and SFA regulations.
That suggests to me that any player that wants to leave is entitled to tear up his contract

Looks like Gibbo, Heitinga and Jelavic are all in for an early return to the club. Really disappointing! But atleast none of the bigger clubs will be having their eyes on our players now, par jags and baines ofcourse, who haven't even played.

QatariBlue

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I have to agree with you QB, I posted something similar in relation to Baines and Jags not starting against Sweden and so not being in the shop window and no risk of injury. The same applies here as far as I'm concerned; while I'm sure Johnny, Gibbo and Jelly would rather stay in the tournament it now means they're out of the gaze of other clubs and injury free, ready to unleash chaos on the premier league come August. Club before country for me, no contest.

Personally i think that Moyes will stay and we will sign Naismith and Pienaar depending on the spurs situation. But even if we don't get pienaar because of the person that is Levy i am sure that Moyes has a back up, maybe someone that impresses in the Euros. It will be intresting what moyes has to say on the BBC.
On another note i think that Gueye will shine next season. We are quite short of wingers at the moment but i seriously think that he is gonna be a really good player. I know some of you will disagree but you just have to look back to the quarter final match against sunderland and the also the match where we won 4-0 against them to see that he has quality.

Blue kaz {Ed025's Note - i agree kaz..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Howard
Naughton Johnny Distin/Jags Baines
Gibbo Felli
A. Johnson Mandzukic Peanuts
Jellyfish

Jags and Buzz rotate to keep them both happy!

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't uderstand why there are two disagree's to this post, please let me know why you hit the disagree button, not my post but I like the team, unless you are a Koppite then simply F**K off

by the way I think the poster means Adam Johnson and not AJ, just in case that is the reason

Degsybluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so but it'd be more like

Howard
Naughton Johnny Distin/Jags Baineso
A.Johnson Gibbo Felli Peanuts
Jellyfish Mandzukic

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Naughton possibly on the cards? good player, I just wondered if this was just a wish list or a possibility. JP {Ed025's Note - its a wish jp

Everton are expected to be losing out on 4 stars with in the year. Fellaini and Baines look to be leaving after the EURO's Signing for Man United and Real Madrid respectivley. Also if Jelavic has a good start to the season many clubs will make an offer for him! Ross Barkley looks to be leaving on loan as he want's first team football, but premier league experience. Expect him at Wigan or Reading next year! This will raise over £50million with the majority going to the bank. Peinaar wants to sign but it depends on who the new spurs manager is... {Ed025's Note - what a load of tripe,..you must have been thrown off the R/S pages..

Believable1 Unbelievable9

Guessing you are talking total bollox as no name as usual.

Defo a Koppite jealous because other clubs actually talk about wanting our players.

Don't see Man U, Real Madrid talking about Shelvey, Spearing etc etc

Degsybluenose (the real one) {Ed025's Note - and are never likely to degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

So fellaini to manchester and baines to madrid? Mmmh, do you know what 'respectively' means? Anyway, BS it is...

Agree0 Disagree0

BS!!!!!

BIGJELLA

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok kopite...gerrard and suarez look to be leaving after the EURO's signing for wigan and fleetwood town 'respectivley'. Also if Carroll has a good start to the season many clubs will make an offer for him! Jonjo Shelvey looks to be leaving on loan as he want's first team football, but premier league experience. Expect him at United or City because he's that good. Falcao wants to sign but it depends on whether he wants to take such a huge step down from Atletico Madrid...

ToffeeTony {Ed025's Note - fair response..

I don't really think we need a new CF and RM and all these players that are being thrown around we have enough depth in our youth to cover all those positions quite well, all we need to be set for this season is to secure a deal for Pienaar whether it be a purchase or a season long loan doesn't bother me. and i think we need a new right back, as good as Hibbo is in certain aspects of his game he lacks quite sufficiently elsewhere. Bring in Naughton at right back and he can rotate with Hibbo.

Ins:
Pienaar - 4m/Loan
Naughton 2-3m
Outs:
Cahill - 3-4m
Anichebe - 1-2m
Mucha - 500k-1m
Yobo - 1-2m

Team
GK: Howard
Def:Hibbo/Naughton, Jags, Heitinga, Baines

Mid:Barkley/Coleman, Gibson, Rodwell, Pienaar

Att:Fellaini
Att:Jelavic

And players on the bench such as Osman, Gueye, Vellios, Distin, Francisco Junior, Duffy etc.

I'd be happy with that this summer. anyone else agree?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

We need a RM more than a RB, for RB we have Hibbo, Neville and Coleman (HE IS NOT A WINGER FFS!!). We have no natural winger in our squad, Coleman as I said is a RB and Barkley is an AM.

Priorities for me are 1. RM, 2. Back up ST, 3. AM, 4. RB

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like another goalkeeper if your selling Mucha.
Timbo

Agree0 Disagree0

Second poster spot on (whoever you are?), priorities after Pienaar has got to be a right midfielder then attacker

WTF do we do next season if we dont get a RM, it's easy saying put Coleman/Barkley there, it will sort of work but not effectively, we can't be talking about spending money on a RB as Hibbo is good enough there for another couple of seasons, fair enough he doesn't bomb down the wing, take people on and shoot like Bainesee but he is effective there.

Pienaar - RM and if possible get Rodallega on a freebie - it's easy

Please no more people on about spending what pennies we have on a RB, priorities Blues, Priorities

Degsybluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on degsy, why spend our money replacing a world class rb in Hibbo? I mean Barcelona aren't about to sign Andy Carroll to replace Messi are they?

Just seen the fixture list and it's Looks a lot better than last seasons, we don't have all the top 5 one after the other! But if we do the pienaar deal and keep everyone else then I wouldn't be too worried with all the big teams one after the other !

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pineaar is the difference between us getting in europe or not next season, i think he is that important

Bumped into Ross Barkley cousin he told me Ross has had a growth spurt over the summer and has shot up to 6foot5 that's a inch taller than big dunk ....well every inch counts.........tristen

Believable5 Unbelievable3

I seen Ross in Liverpool 1 last week, smaller than me and I'm 6'2, I smell BS Tristen

Agree0 Disagree0

He's been on holiday for the past two weeks and was 6"2" and a half last season so he's grown by 2 and a half inches in two months not unheard of as he's only just eighteen he might grow to 6"7,the beast from wavo ............tristen

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross has always got a pair of Nike 1.10s,and they put 2 inches on you,in his player profile he's 6'2 and giving his age will grow another inch or two, felliani and Barkley partnership will scare the crap out of the opposition

Agree0 Disagree0

I seen ronnie corrbet in the aldi on Walton road he's 6'3 he just looks small when he's sitting in that oversized chair it's a well known fact that tv takes a foot of you,.................me

Agree0 Disagree0

No Tristen, I seen him coming out of JD last Friday, and I last got my height checked last month, so I doubt it...

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats is younger brother m8,jack he works there part time,Ross is away on holiday

Agree0 Disagree0

There is only 1 jack who works in JD in liverpool 1 and it is not his younger brother. I know this because i am the only jack who works in JD in liverpool 1.. Capiche?
