Why are we letting players go so cheap we let pinaar go for 2.5 now were getting nothing for other good players {Ed011's Note - We got 3 mill for pineaar, which for a player that would have been out of contract now was good business. I presume you mean vaughan, yak and yobo. Well yak has never been the same after his injury and their are no premiership clubs after him, a few million for vaughan is fair,as he is not proven in the premiership yet. We should get about 3/4 mill for yobo which i think is fair as well

Honestly I think that everyone is going a bit overboard with this rodwell situation, the kid is in his early stage I can see him going anywhere however can see us selling fellani next season much won't happen this transfer window however big rumor going round is that a takeover will be completed at the end of the window and moyes is looking at players such as Fabian Delph and Keiran Richardson, if this takeover happens we will be looking at players like Jermain Defoe and Carlos Vela.
What you think Ed? {Ed011's Note - It really is a pivotal summer for the blues, we need investment and quality players, because we are top 7 material and it wouldn't take much to get into the top 6. We just seem to struggle to secure our targets, i think a marquee signing would lift the supporters spirits

Eden hazard has great pace and can score
But he cost way too much
Beckford he will {Ed011's Note - Evertonians have really warmed to this guy, he scored some belters last season. The one against chelsea was fantastic
I dont know if we really need pace that much, because coleman is quick so he is our pace down the right. also Magaye Gueye looked good on the wings when he played last year, i think one to watch next year. all we need is a top class forward and we would get in the top 6 easy.
Lets hope that the takeover rumours are true and then we can afford him and others

If your looking for a pacy player who scores goals you cant look past scott sinclair 27 goals in the championship from the wing. personally i think this is were we should look for pace because we already have becks pace upfront. we have seamus on the right but he will move to rb eventually and on the leftt we have no pace at all. id go for charles nzogbia hes fast scores goals young and is proven in the PL. then i think we just need a big goalscoring striker this would obviously be saha but if hes injured which he will be we need someone to step in such as pavlyuchenko but with our lack of funds we will probably have to settle for carew/ bothrooyd which i wouldnt mind to be honest.

According to the papers Everton were intrested in signing out of contract Forest star Guy Moussi. Since that story was printed many changes have happened at Nottingham Forest (New manager for one thing and new back room staff) So now Guy Moussi shall not be joining Everton and will sign a new 3 year contract at Nottingham Forest. Shame really i thought he would suit the way Everton play.

Moyes is desperately keen to sign n'zogbia and wes brown seems likely. Wellbeck on loan or Mackail-smith are also possible signings. The fans deserve and the place needs a marquee signing to get us all up for next season.

It's no secret that Moyes will likely wants to transfer a striker. What he said in an interview back in February, was that he wants a striker who works very hard and it wouldn't be a problem even he scores not much at the moment.
Top target is one of the most hard working strikers in the league: Kevin Doyle of Wolves.
Wolves chairman mentioned that he's going to sign a star striker who's rumoured to be as Sulejmani of Ajax. If this happens, Doyle is likely to be off and the prices will also cut down(about 7 millionish) and this is why Moyes is waiting so far. Because right now Wolves is asking too much (about 12 million)
The other mentioned player is Shane Long but what Moyes wants is a proven pl player. No Benzema, no swap deal for Fellaini. If Fellaini is going to be sold, whom said that he wants to leave, Moyes wouldn't decrease the cash money for swapping Benzema whose wage would already be a problem.

Where did you read or hear this rubbish about Fellaini ? Benzema won't go anywhere unless it's for guaranteed european football. Yakubu has not joined Spurs and Bentley is not joining Everton...0 from 4 good effort.
To be honest, I heard from a source close to the club that the yakubu deal has went through, with bentley taking a huge pay cut, this is probably why we could afford benzema's wages - so there is 2/4 and possibly 3 if it does turn out to be correct - also he has expressed his desire to move to the premier league, and said as long as its first team football, he will leave for the right club.. Oh and Everton are on the verge on signing Julian De Guzman as a possible replacement for fellaini if this deal does go through from toronto FC

hi ed, we are looking at the possibility of who we could get to strenghten the squad but with us buying gueye, silva and vellios last year surely Moyes will be using them more this season. There is no way moyes would allow fellaini and Rodwell to go. One maybe, both not them both. I would sacrifice rodwell, he is a great player, but we could improve the squad with that money

Looks like Marouane Fellaini could be heading out this summer which means Moyes will need to find a replacement for him that will not be easy by any means but i expect if he goes we will have a good 20m to find someone, also if Rodwell goes there will be a big hole in midfield, Arteta could also be going to Valencia which means we would have a completely new midfield come next season, this is what I think the team should be 2011/2012.

Are you serious. moyes and kenwright would never sell or replace the whole midfield like that. the manager has spent years building it and are you not forgetting osman/cahill ie plus moutinho signed for porto a couple of seasons ago so hed cost a bomb as would banega as valencia want to keep him, donovans asking price is 10 mil and nzobias is 11 thats already over the 20 million you think wed get for fellaini which 1 is wrong cos we paid 15 why would we let him go for just 5 more and 2 he will probably stay at least one more season. i would much rather keep our midfield as it is with the addition of nzogbia and it would look a lot better than the one youve just made up
I wud like to keep the midfield aswell but its not looking likely and Donovan was 10m last season hes now 29 and cahill is getting on now and i no hes still an influential player at Everton but if we want the club to go forward we need a RM, LM, CM(if rodwell goes), and a quality ST, and not being funny but what if we keep fellaini and then next year we go to sell him he will not go for as much so if he signs a contract then yes the team should be

I think we have a really good crop of promising youngsters coming through. Barkley, Hope and Gueye are just some of the crop about to break through, should save moyes some money in the coming years.

Just saw that newcastle have signed marveaux from rennes on a free. This lad is worse than saha hasnt played since november. To me this says ashley isnt gonna give pardew much to spend therefore nzogbia is still a possibility for us. Hopefully.

why does everyne want us to get long n bothroyd i no we want another beckford situation but i think we got lucky with beckford bothroyds had 1 good season aswell aslong i say let them go to other clubs and then in january if they play well put a bid in id prefer to get carew on free whou would be okay for us because we cross alot and do long balls plus hes a beter fre than bothroyd.Also the yak is better than both long and bothroyd so no point wasting 5mill on long when weve got yak cus yak will have confidence now and if the club get behind him hes got 12-15 goal in him easily.

if you are like me..a frustrated die hard evertonian, give a thought to how the messiah, david moyes must feel. he can see third rate managers..at third rate clubs, with a lot more spending power than him.his loyalty and love for the club is unquestionable, ..but for how long. bill kenwrights latest production of scrooge could just push our most valuable asset over the edge...there are a lot of vultures circling above, both here and abroad, who could offer david the chance to prove what he could achieve with a decent transfer chest...my god, i hope im wrong
