Does anyone else thin Hitzlsperger speaks better English than most of us?

Gods Doctor

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Ha I've thought that too Doc ;)

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

He's got a bit of a brummie accent too i noticed. {Ed025's Note - lets not confuse brummie, with english guys...they are 2 different languages!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha love it Ed, I think our Brummie friends may say the same about us with scouse accents

Degsy {Ed025's Note - yeah, but i can understand scouse degsy...i cant make head nor tail of brummie mate:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Brummie is scouse slowed down, like when you put a record on the wrong speed.

Gods Doctor {Ed025's Note - i would describe it more as...fluent jibberish, with a hint of gobbledygook doc..

Is anyone in agreement with me and thought that maybe it should of been 3 pens before 3 red cards? i've never seen a player manhandled so much as Fellaini this year, although i agree with everyone else and say he was out of order.

also another point, IF and its a big IF as he as already said he wont go, if fellaini does go its gotta be for no less than 30, hes also gotta be aware that the grass aint always greener elsewhere as pienaar and more recently lescott not to mention the "supposed progression of Arteta's career which for me not far of a sideways move! (with the exception of champs league footy).

anyway IMWT COYB

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I agree. Although, if anything, Pienaar was the more recent one out of him and Lescott.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree mate, I love Arteta as much as any Blue but wouldn't it be amazing if we finished above Arsenal, I would get some satisfaction out of rubbing the little Spaniards nose in it, well quite a lot to be honest.

Still though he will always be the best little Spaniard I know and I would have him back tomorrow if he would come.

Degsy {Ed025's Note - me too mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

If Walcott is supposedly worth £15M with only 6 months left on his deal, Fellaini is worth AT LEAST double that! BlueTone {Ed025's Note - i agree tone..

Fellaini's reaction was unprofessional
and 3 match ban seems right but it
should be the impetus for Moyes to
highlight the way we are being treated
by referees and media once it became
obvious we were a serious threat to
the top 4. there is an independent
table that corrects all indisputably
bad decisions made during games ans
according to this table we should
be 13 to 15 points ahead of spurs and
arsenal. Look at the penalty given to
City compared to the way Fellaini is being treated in the box. the reason Fellaini got away
with it three times was because the
ref was refusing to watch what had
been going on. a sign he was determined
not to award us a penalty

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Sorry but can you clarify what you are implying here? Are you saying that because we are a threat to the top 4, that is why we have had some bad reffing decisions this season? If so you are talking out your behind.

Its swings and roundabouts look at the clear suarez goal in the derby lfc would be 2 points to the good if that had stood

Agree0 Disagree0

^^ Bitter red on our site again.

ToffeeMike {Ed025's Note - he did not mention the points we have been robbed of i notice mike....selfishly typical!..

Agree0 Disagree0

To the swings and roundabouts poster

Dodgy free kick to start with and Coates fouled Jags = disallowed goal.
A sure fire case of two wrongs making a right.

Loving all this! You guys are so blind! If Suarez had headbutted someone you would be raging, yet you justify it by saying he was manhandled! Suarez suffers dodgy decisions all the time but that wouldn't make a difference to your skewed opinions! Hypocrites! And it is swings and roundabouts as it is with most teams, some decisions go your way some don't. Sometimes you win ugly sometimes you play the best football and still lose. It usually all evens itself out...I'm so happy for Everton doing so well this season, and if LFC don't I really hope you guys get top 4, but some of you really are ridiculous! {Ed025's Note - fellaini was an idiot, and admitted as much...suarez is a dirty little cheat!..players make mistakes, but there is a difference mate, suarez is calculating and knows exactly what he is doing..

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez is also a serial offender, and, whilst not condoning Fellaini's actions, doesn't need provocation either to cynically and intentionally injure opponents

Agree0 Disagree0

Swings and roundabouts?? evens itself out?? any more MOTD cliches you can reel off..you seriously think Everton will get 15 points worth of decisions over the rest of the season. Actually Liverpool are also suffering to the likes of Arsenal and Spurs. These tables were produced as a way of proving things generally even out, and as they say themselves it makes it clearer when something is wrong. You think its naive or ridiculous to suggest that money and the money at certain clubs influences referees. Look at evidence rather than just spouting cliches

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think they like to keep the status quo the usual top 4 they seem to get all the breaks in decisions wise look at citys goal pen for minimum contact thats just 1 if you watch them all they get a bais every week werve had more wrong decicions than anyone scored 2 good goals in 1 game imagine whisky nose is reaction would be tom efc

Personally, I think that with Fellaini being banned and all, Moyes will move a few players around as opposed to bringing players like Barkley into the starting eleven. I think the team for the West Ham game will be;

Howard
Distin Jagielka Heitinga Baines
Coleman Gibson Osman Pienaar
Naismith
Jelavic

What do you guys think?

Bobcat

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Think you are right but think he will have Coleman rb, pienaar on right and Oviedo left mid? Or poss the way you have got it but with jags at rb.
Sheffield blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Swap distin and heitinga and then it a possibility, but i think DM will use peanuts on the right and oviedo on the left.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the team I would like to see....

Howard
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Naismith Gibbo Hitzlsperger Pienaar
Ossie
Jelavic

With Barkley to replace Hitz in the second half... Or alternatively with Ossie on the right and Naismith down the middle!

aflm78

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to see the same side as last week, but with Barkley introduced in place of Fellaini to show us what he can do. Not sure Davey will do that though as his recent history suggests he won't give him a chance. Failing that I'd go with aflm's suggestion

People are saying go for Gameiro for 8m to be honest i'd rather go for Demba Ba as he has a release cause of 7.5m

Believable1 Unbelievable4

One problem he wants to move to Arsenal and i think Arsenal want him too

I heard that the clause became ineffective after 12 months of his contract mate, would like to see him here though defo

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

His £90,000 a week wage demands may prove a problem too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't we decide not to sign him (on a free was it?) before he eventually went to Newcastle because of his injury (knee?) record? You can bet your bottom dollar that if we signed him now for a big fee (£7M+) he'd be out injured soon afterwards :-(
WoHungLo

Agree0 Disagree0

We couldn't afford Demba Ba when he was available on a FREE and still a relatively unproven quantity in this league, so what makes people think we can afford him now, when he will be asking for more wages (keep in mind we couldn't afford his initial wage demands), a transfer fee is involved and he has been scoring bags of goals?

just thought id post a more positive comment then my one about howard and jella so here goes.

ins for jan:
Butland 7m
forren 4m
gameiro 8m ? (i dont know how much he is)
vadis (loan)

outs for jan:
heitinga 6m (no pace or strength and is terrible at marking)
duffy (loan) (the lad has talent and isnt fulfilling his potential on the bench)
anichebe, packet of hob nobs

Phil, COYB!!

Anichebe isn't that bad! Personally think that people should stop moaning about him all the time. I'd rather have him than alot of other strikers in the league.

I agree Bob. He has done a lot off the bench for us. Admittedly not the best starter but good for the squad.

Blue Bones

Agree0 Disagree0

He has never had a decent run. He is young and when he has come on in recent times has done a decent job. He is not Wayne Rooney (as was at 16) but he is a decent squad player. I always say in football....get rid of someone when you have someone better to replace them. Who do we have coming in who is better?
