Another 3 points and the unbeaten start continues, if I have one criticism though it is that we take the foot of the gas when we have a good lead and don't go for the jugular and really put teams to bed. All in all though I'm happy with the result.

That's the difference this season, when we conceded that 'goal' I never doubted that we would win the game, suppose I'm just greedy and want more when I know we could have put 5 or 6 past Boro today if we would have just carried on in the second half the way we finished the 1st. Just a word on Mr Mason today as well, to call yourself a professional referee is an embarrassment, never seen such inconsistent refereeing.

Sorry Bluegrey87, can't agree about Mason, nothing inconsistent about his refereeing. He always was and always will be useless and he is very consistent about that.

Can't argue with that assessment BlueMike76. I don't like to see players sent off but Forshaw made 3 tackles that all warranted yellow cards and yet he didn't receive a card at all? Yet Barry gets one for a shoulder charge! The man is a liability and hopefully his performance is monitored and we don't see him for a while.

Really can't see mcarthy getting in the efc team now gana and barry unseprable what a player gana is 7mil best bit of buisness ever the guy is class niasse was 13mil does he play for us no not even in the squad.

Coleman 60k is the best bit of business ever, by any team in any league, ever. However Gueye is incredible. What a player. It's like having a footballing Mo Farah in the line up. He's everywhere, he's technically class and reads the game in many ways better than Barry does who has about 570 more prem games under his belt.
Thought Bolasie was a bit off today. Ross was better but can be so much more. Centre backs were class, keeper unknown as he was never tested, obviously a foul on him for theirs but think he should have been stronger regardless. Baines and Coleman are now full backs rather than our primary outlets for width and Mirallas has had better games but is working so much more for the team it's lovely to see.

I have to pass comment on the team. much fitter, much slicker (though still room for improvement) . delighted. However, I have to say . Idrissa Gueye. what a player. I watched our side in the eighties win all those trophies. and this lad is well up there with those players. in fact I'll stick my neck out here and say that he may genuinely be world class. if he maintains it. saw him for villa 6or7 times last year and he was quality. early doors but he's up there with petite, makalele et al. etc. truly a master stroke to sign him.

We have our new Peter Reid and he is awesome.
