David Weir has left Rangers on mutual consent. Can see him coming in on a short term deal as cover. A bit of a backword step some might (quite rightly) say but he could be handy to have if any other defenders get injured.

The last straw if we sign him when moyes came he said he would only be looking for young playersthe side now is older than when he arrived

Did any one just see the QPR v MK Dons game? MK Dons right back looks quality. His name is Adam Smith. He is currently on loan from Spurs. He reminds me of Baines. Loves getting up the wing and getting in a cross or too. Not bad from range either. I am think a replace for Hibbert. Better in defence and better on the attack. Hes only 20 too. Spurs may let him go as they currently have Kyle Walker on the up! Fingers crossed Moyes' has seen this young lad, if we could even afford him. Peoples thoughts please?

'Arry wont let us loan one of their up and coming stars, he snatches our transfer targets as it is so I couldn't see him loaning us one of his own players, he will probably loan him to a championship side/league 1, good player tho!

I live in Leeds and apparently hes going to Leeds on loan

I got to say i disagree
if the changes that you suggest would happen we would be a championship team the following season.there must be a balance experence from snr player and pace and passion from the youth.

Vellios could be the answer ed. If Davey would give him a run of games this kid will score goals. I would rather see him given a go then us to bring in another random free agent. Big Dunc rates him so if god has spoken then that works for me! {Ed025's Note - i rate the guy..hes a bit inexperienced, but still a good player..

I just think Saha needs one goal to get his confidence back then he ll start banging them in!

With balls coming in from landon and baines the lad will get in the possitions and net a few, cant believe i'm saying this but big vic looks like hes got a point to prove

According to Sky Sports Rangers have announced that Davey Weir is heading back to play in the prem in the next seven days.......they have not stated the name of the club.........eerrmmm?? (Wavertree Blue)

Where does Osman sit in all this, is he not one of our top 3 players, you haven't even got him on the bench or as sold, guessing you just forgot about him

If that is our starting line up come next season I would run the streets nude, that would be an amazing line up.

Although, I think we could get Manolas for a lot less that 4mil, I mean Greece are in financhial turmoil and they would accept probably less than 1mil, 2mil max! And I dont think he is quite ready for the Prem League.

I would love to see us get Holden, think he is a class act for Bolton and no wonders they are struggling without him (and that Korean lad who would be worth a look), surely they would want more than 3-4mil for him.


Saha's contract expires so he can leave for free, so we wouldnt get anything from him.

I didnt forget about Osman its just i feel he wouldn't get into the team if there were a few new faces of course he would still get on the bench in a few games and start the odd few and its exactly the same with Cahill there both not getting any younger and i wouldn't say just drop them but they both need easing out, were would you put Osman in that team?

I can see what you are saying Jack with new faces coming in mate but I would at a minimum have him on the bench, I think he is a vastly underated player who wins us more games than any other player we have, we will get another two years out of him at least

If Rodwell was going to be sold this month it would not be until deadline day so the money would go to the bank and we could not use any of the money to buy any players.
