Just wondering if there is anything in Barclay's claim that he was not coached "properly" at EFC. He certainly gave an improved performance on Monday.

Anyway that got me thinking about the attack coaching and though I love Big Dunc maybe we did someone who concentrates on turning defenders quicker + timing of runs.

{Ed025's Note - im afraid thats just ross looking for excuses why he never set the world alight at everton Lhr, what he neglected to explain is how he lost focus and concentrated more on his hanger on friends and family more than his club mate..

ross is a disgrace, to say he has never been coached properly is a slap in the face to the academy coaches who gave him his career, duncan by all accounts is a top coach aswell by the way, just because he played a certain way doesn't mean he can't coach another way.

{Ed025's Note - i agree johny, ross was given more than enough chances and as talented as he is lacks heart and application for me, him being from my neck of the woods meant i really wanted him to succeed but unfortunately he has failed to grow up and thats disappointing mate..

Sounds like sour grapes. He never mentioned it during the 6 months he spent warming Chelseas bench.
He has had a good couple of performances for Chelsea but showed against Spain that he still makes the wrong choice when in a good attacking position.
Jury's surely still out on whether he will be just a decent player, really good player or a great player.
