This would be the greatest signing ever. Younes Belhanda from Montpellier is supposedly availible for only £7 million. If we had that we should try and sign him.
Any chance? {Ed024's Note - Moyes will have to decide his priorities, if he wants to blow most of his budget on one player he could afford it, he has to make sure pineaar is his first priority and i suspect after that he may have 5-6 million to play with, the pineaar money is apparently ringfenced and doesn't effect the budget he has to spend

ED please tell me how we have ringfenced pienaar miney ( 5-6mill ) and money to spend ??? Modric may be leaving spurs in the summer! That could be a good thing as the money they will get for him would buy a couple of quality players and pienaar wouldn't be needed or it could go the other way with modric gone pienaar could be his replacement! Moyes has said he wants to specifically look at players who will 'fit' well with Jelavic - what does he mean by that i.e. what kind a player (he obviously is being more specific than 'just a winger') - and who would that mean then? Any ideas lads? {Ed024's Note - We will be looking to play to jelavics strengths, so he will be looking for players that will complement jelavics style, as the Croatian sensation will be on fire next season

Although I would absolutely love Clint Dempsey, think he is a terrific player, and if we had the funds would love to see him in the blue, however, we are poor, and we need to look at cheap (although this lad will only be 6-7mil still too much for us) options.

Personally, I would enquire about Niko Krancjar from Spurs, I know Spurs have a tendency to be complete twits about valuing their players, but Kranjcar is pretty much non-existent in that team, only 27 or so and with a year left, could get him for pretty cheap, and being Croatian would most likely be accustomed to Jelavic.

Think he would be terrific, but of course, Pienaar is priority. {Ed025's Note - good post that mate...

I think you're right - but I also think he knows he needs a good winger on the right - coleman is definitely not the answer (think moyes has realised that now too) - if we had another little schemer on the right wing that really did make things happen throughout the game (like pienaar does on the left) the threat would be coming from all over! I'd be wetting myself with excitement :)

What wing does krancjar play on? {Ed025's Note - hes a midfielder mate..
