Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.
16 Jun 2012 23:23:37
I really think its about time everton increase ticket prices to increase funds. As a season ticket holder I am fine with a 10-15 per cent price increase so moyes can finally spend money. It's great that everton prices remain competitive but it's to the detriment of the club. A small increase such as that might see us be able to get a moderately priced gem every year guaranteed. Think a pienaar rather than a fellaini. I think the continual progression would temper any unhappiness at a price increase. Just look across the park and what they charge. A increase in line with theirs would see us operating like city. A small increase allows us to compete
Believable4

A 10-15% rise is neither here nor there. It would barely cover a weeks wages for the entire threadbare squad.

I see where you're coming from but the fans won't want to pay extra money so it can go to the bank. Maybe if there was some sort of guarantee it would go to buying players then maybe at a push.
If it does get like that we might as well have a bloody whip-round!

The best way to raise funds would be to have higher (auction) prices for front (2 or 3) row balcony seats - like they do in the theatre - these seats never become available because once you've got one you keep it for life and hand it on to next generation but these front row seats should be worth hundreds more - put them up or auction each year to raise more money {Ed025's Note - its not hundreds we need mate...its millions..

So the message for me from the Moyse love in at half time was....
Lineka couldn't give a stuff about the club that launched his career.
Moyse wants to win stuff at Everton still
Kenwright needs to get him some money and quick
Moyse won't let us down and will stay loyal as long as we want him there- and that would be a long time if I had my way
And did I say that lineka couldn't give a stuff about our club practically pushing the spurs job down Daveys throat. There are not many players from the great side of the eighties that I would be negative about, except him!!

Bad news!!! Very bad news
DAVID MOYES is flying back from holiday in America for talks with Everton owner Bill Kenwright as Tottenham step up their bid to make him their new boss.
Moyes is the preferred choice of Spurs chairman Daniel Levy following Harry Redknapp’s departure from White Hart Lane.
The Scot will meet Kenwright over the weekend to discuss his plans for the future of the club.
Starsport understands the Goodison chief would be very interested in taking over at Spurs if the offer came his way.
Ironically, he was due to have a meeting with Kenwright shortly to discuss the renewal of his contract which has a year to run.
SOURCE: Daily Star
David Moyes appears favourite to take the White Hart Lane hot-seat and it may prove very tough for Everton owner Bill Kenwright to prevent the Scot from being tempted into moving to North London.
Having spent most of his ten years at Goodison Park trying to operate within very difficult financial constraints the chance to take over at Tottenham, where he may have more of a chance to challenge for a top four spot and major silverware, Moyes may well feel the time is right to leave Merseyside.
Kenwright will surely fight to keep the 49 year old at the club but given he only has a year left on his current contract it would seem that efforts to do so could well fail. Similarly Spurs chairman Daniel Levy may well be keen to bring in a manager who knows how to deal frugally in the transfer market after backing Redknapp heavily with sizable funds.

Living down here in Essex we got a good many spurs supporters and after speaking to them they don't reckon moyes would go to tottenham for these reasons
a) The expectations are WAY to high
b) The style of the club wouldn't suit moyes

With all this coming from spurs fans themselves and other things I think it's highly unlikely David Moyes would leave the club let alone go to tottenham.

But even if we don't get pienaar because of the person that is Levy i am sure that Moyes has a back up, maybe someone that impresses in the Euros. It will be intresting what moyes has to say on the BBC.
On another note i think that Gueye will shine next season. We are quite short of wingers at the moment but i seriously think that he is gonna be a really good player. I know some of you will disagree but you just have to look back to the quarter final match against sunderland and the also the match where we won 4-0 against them to see that he has quality.
