I can't believe we've only signed 4 players. This board is a joke. And where's all the Stones money gone. Kenright and that robbing board of directors.

I want another 5 players now and one of them better be Messi or Ronaldo or I'm sending a plane over the Hawthornes on Saturday.

Moshiri out! Who's with me?

.

Oh! Just me then?

For gods sake NBinU have a bit of patience there is still plenty of time to sign players. let's not forget we still haven't replaced Ossie yet! If we don't then where are we going to get our midfield goals from? I bet RK has something up his third kit sleeve. (and not just his arm)

I am certainly enjoying this hyperbole. A good match on Saturday, some good signings, and Evertonians everywhere are encouraged.

RK is putting together a team capable of being competitive now, with eyes to the future. And think what has been done transfer wise to date has been done mostly with the John Stones proceeds.

Speaking of JS, I wish him well. I think he handled the situation with quiet dignity. I hope he is successful in 36 of his 38 games this year.

John stones i could net resist working with the best manager in the world i think i could of won all them trophys with Barcelona and Munich there already had the best players the true great managers build a team from nothing to win trophys and keep the club at the top look at utd without sir Alex let's see how man city do this year my money is on them not winning a single trophy if he wanted to learn he should of stayed with a koeman as he would learnt how to defend first then pass just come out say i wanted to play champions league and and earn £150000 a week stop with all the bull jon look forward to you getting a roasting on your return .

Was a heavy read but I got to the end konehead! I agree with it could be a barren year for city this season but only for the reason that Pep's style of play will need tweaking to be successful in our league. He may have only been in charge of big teams who have money but he does get his teams playing tidy football, no doubting that. He was also a top player so he knows the demands that 'elite' football requires.
With regards to Stones, let's live and let live. The lad set his sights on playing for Pep and has got his wish, no hard feelings. We got a very decent return on our outlay so we can't grumble mate.

Just seen yarmelenko and riquelme house hunting in Speke wearing Everton tops. read into that what you want.

We are in the season for crazy rumours just thought I'd throw that into the mix

Keep the faith and Koeman and moshiri will come good and 3rd September will be like Christmas for us blues.

Am I the only person that hopes to god the rumors of c benteke and sissoko are just that rumours. I sincerely believe we could find better value players abroad that could do the jobs both of these players do o would rather our beloved team took a punt on a couple of players in those positions after having dine a comprehensive scouting job on both just my opinion.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

16 Aug 2016 13:55:15
I would be very surprised if we go for Sissoko having just signed Gueye. RK was also waxing lyrical about the CM partnership so if we are looking for a new CM i would think its to replace Barry. We are probably looking for a CF but i am not sure Benteke is RK's type of player if he is though he will get my support. I like the way RK and Walsh have looked at what we need and they seem to be slowly adding to the squad with the positions that I think most of us highlighted as a cause of concern GK, CB, CM and LM for me the only position we really need to fill is CF/ S. We could also look at a RB to cover Coleman but if we are going to play with a back 3 then I am happy for McCarthy to continue as backup. things are looking very positive my fellow Blues.

Agree1 Disagree0

17 Aug 2016 04:57:03
Sissoko has played most of his time at Newcatle playing on the right wing. Would be an upgrade on Geri as far as working hard, defensively, with a good physical presence and pretty good going forward 30m yes I know over priced but all players are in this window especially. I know they want 35m but with Galloway going there on loan for the season might sweeten the deal for them to take 30m.

I see in the papers it's said Danny drinkwater has turned down a new improved offer, I like the look of him, would be a great addition if we could get him, also I like Austin and would be happy as a back up striker, he's a hardworking striker and gets goals, maybe not technically brilliant but will do a job, I really hope we get that Lyon player sounds a cracking player, sissoko is a big no, I no he played in a bad team, but he did nothing for Newcastle, a couple of good games doesn't make a good player, look at mcgeady for example.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - Everton has no interest in Drinkwater - and it would make zero sense for the player to join. If he moves I would think it would likely be to join Spurs.}

16 Aug 2016 11:12:59
We have Gueye, Barry and McCarthy why buy another similar player?

Agree4 Disagree0

16 Aug 2016 11:46:22
Why do we need Danny drinkwater? Haven't we got enough players in that position?

Agree2 Disagree1

16 Aug 2016 16:20:50
The reason is he's younger and better and offers more than McCarthy, Barry is on his last legs, who have we got to cover, besic and how injury prone is he, it's a long season, and Gibson just isn't reliable.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Aug 2016 10:00:21
I really don't believe everything I see in the press as regards transfer activity but I really can't see why we are constantly being linked with sissoko. He is not the creative number ten we need and whilst we are still crying out for a tricky creative type of Midfielder even if he ticked some of the boxes he is too expensive what we really need is two pacey forwards Centre back and a right back.

Anyone else keep checking Danny Gabbidons Twitter? Haha there's a sentence I never thought I'd say!

I know it's all a load of rubbish and nothing that exciting will happen. And yes Twitter is the worst place to get the truth. But sometimes it's just really fun to live in a crazy dream land where Everton are linked with James, Draxler and Isco!

I know it will never happen but let's enjoy it and have a laugh while we can!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

16 Aug 2016 10:29:58
I think Gibbidon has left himself wide open with his comments last night he has us all on the edge of our seats wondering what is going on behind the scenes and who the player he has alluded to is. For me i will wait till a player is wearing the blue jersey but can't wait for sat and west brom.

Drink water had a good season but he's not for me very similar to noble.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Aug 2016 14:23:11
What's wrong with Noble? The lad is consistent week in week out for West Ham something we have been lacking over the past two seasons. Annoys the hell out of me when a good, hard working player is dismissed because he's not a 'Name'. See the same for Drinkwater.

16 Aug 2016 15:16:33
Nothing wrong with him u just think we need to be adding more quality than either of these two have. Just my opinion.

I thought stekelenburg looked good in goal. Confident 2 brilliant saves. I say stick with him for the time being and if he turns out a bit ropey then there's always next transfer market. Going on the euros Hart looks the worse player to stekelenburg Imho.

Unfortunately the fickle nature of fans means as soon as he makes an error everyone will be on his case, also let's not forget our clubs motto NSNO!
Although he is struggling with form and confidence he is England's No1 and City have been happy until a change of manager who sees an alternative as his choice.

Agree5 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - people seem to forget that both Mancini and Pellegrini sought to replace Hart but could not get the keepers they wanted. Hart is not a top class keeper, or close to one.}

16 Aug 2016 11:16:38
But he's still England number 1, what does that say for Southampton and stoke keeper, but everyone is saying we need one if those 2, Howard wasn't liked at utd but had some very good years with us, I just feel we need someone like this not only as a top keeper, but a statement to the world, we are on the way up, and the more top players we can get in, the more will want to follow,
