RK needs to go now, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the sack tomorrow.

You fellas are doing appalling under him and his setup. If the man is still in charge on Thursday kiss goodbye to Europe lads.

People need to give there heads a wobble Koeman is a world class manager with world class players at his disposal things can't change over night the league title isn't out of sight yet and we are definitely better than Liverpool this year. Positive thoughts and back the team. I honestly think that any club in this league could pick players from our team to fit into their 11 they would pick all 11 of ours. We have 6 word class players and about 5 bordering world class for Christ's sake. Anyway onwards and upwards The mighty Everton exists to win trophies and that will come.

Is there another Koeman managing a different team? I admire your optimism mate but to state he is a world class manager with world class players at his disposal is stretching it a bit. Six world class players? And another five bordering that? Crazy talk! There is no doubt that we have some talented players but the manager isn't getting the best out of them. His system, if there is one, hasn't worked in many games so far. A world class manager would be able to change things around to find a solution to this crisis. Instead RK is going down the same route as the man he replaced, his stubbornness is there for all to see. Admittedly, he took out Williams and Martina but it only goes to show that the system is flawed more so than the players. It was another dull performance with little to get excited by. I hate the reds as much as they hate us but to say we are better than them is blinkered at the very least. Something needs to change at the club, whether that be replacing the manager or ditching the director of football position. I don't know what the answer is but it's glaringly obvious that things can't just continue to amble along.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and it's great that sites like this enable us to express ours. However, Big Ev, I could not agree LESS. RK has to go, and soon! We do have some excellent players, but, under RK, they look anything but. You'll probably disagree with my opinion, but I feel we have to get Sean Dyche in soon, before our season is already written off.

15 Oct 2017 19:24:48
Wow people calm down we will get better this year and Sean dyche shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as koeman. We have the best manager out there just need time for these world class players to gel. And to say we aren't better than Liverpool is just mental we are lightyears ahead of them none of there players touch our 11. Onwards and upwards we will win a trophy this season.

6 world class players. never, talent yes, and decent international s, but aside Gana and Pickford, there are no world class players imo. decent. but not world class. And on what basis is rk a world class manager ( I won't repeat things we've all said about pace width, and playing players in wrong position) , what has he won? I think too many are confusing rk the manager for rk the player. who was world clasd.

Well Ed I sat and watched that this dross this afternoon and this is some of the most boring football I have ever seen by an Everton team that I have followed since the sixties, I could go on and on about it but until R K has the courage to stand up and admit he has got this all wrong it will never change week after week the same old rubbish is being played, I hear now that even Mayor Anderson has questioned R Ks tactics, time for him to move on before our season is over, enough is enough please.

Good post GuernseyBlue. I agree, Koeman will either have to change things or be sacked. Sadly I think the later will happen as he is too stubborn to admit he is wrong and change things around.

When ronald defended himself in the pre Brighton press conference. he mentioned how Burnley had done well at the top teams this year. but they were assembled for sixpence in comparison with our outlay. You don't expect all the signings to gel at once, but you expect something way better than what is being shown. Not all those signings were wrong decisions. some will prove good buys. but to buy Schneiderlen seemingly to play with Gueye still seems odd and to buy Sigurdsson after getting in Klassen and Rooney ditto. What was the plan one wonders. But to keep on leaving out Lookman and Mirallas while persisting with the one paced Gylfi and Rooney seems senseless. Calvert Lewin will get better and better with games and if we had a manager who could just gee up the players. something better would be dished up. But Koeman at present looks a bit like Fabiola Capello with England. cold, diffident, unable to inspire. We don't need a second Klopp but at least he transmits something to the players and crowd besides frustration. though I wasn't in favour of his buys from swansea and United I had high hopes over koeman but at the moment you can't see him changing his stubborn approach to picking an unbalanced side. Feel sorry for the travelling fans but without good reason I still hope an evening game at goodison on Thursday can get the adrenalin going again. It's just hard to imagine things turning around fast unless someone in the back room staff has the nerve to say. Ron out of the assortment of players you have at your disposal you can still pick a decent side. just go for it or you will be thinking of christmas in Amsterdam.

When we appointed Koeman I really thought it would be the start of an exciting era in the clubs history. An experienced and well thought of player who has seen and done almost everything in football.
On paper we now have one of the most exciting young squads in the league with some seasoned veterans in the mix to add some guidance, calm and composure.
Why oh why then are we playing so abysmally with no calmness or composure and no guidance from the older players, who in the main look more lost than the youngsters.
The answer for me has to be the manager who seems to be so arrogant and cock sure of himself that he refuses to see what the rest of the footballing world can see and will not change his methods or tactics. I really do think he's on borrowed time now and will be gone soon.
The only problem then is who would want to take the job? It seems to be a poisoned chalice now with the potential to ruin any new managers reputation.

So yet again no width centre back at full back baines no longer at the races 2 holding midfield no brains to pass a ball forward Rooney no longer a number 9 and centre forward playing wide left when he's right footed all this and we still call for patience well I'm not one of them get rid of boring arse or it will be too late to salvage anything from this impossible situation I'm not a kid I'm 61 and love everton but in 5 weeks he's put me off going and watch my beloved everton could someone please see sense and end this debacle before it spirals out of control thankyou efc forever coyb.

Schneiderlin awful. I echo what some others have said, where was Lookman? We need width, it is as simple as that. If we had the same back 4 (Garbut eventually for Baines) Gueye, Lookman/ Mirralas, Sigurdson, Vasic, Rooney/ Sandro, Calvert Lewellin, I am convinced that side would grow in confidence and get us the points.

Koeman seems to have an ego problem he sticks dogedly to players and a system that's not working because he signed them Players have to bed in but they still have to earn the right to play. While he was right to criticise Barclay he was wrong to do it publicly he slags players off in the press when he should do it on the training ground. If he takes a strop with a player their out with no way back when its his job to get the best out of what he, s got. If he, s a great coach why did he not get the best out of Barclay and Delafou. Koemans teams have predictable and the easiest in the premiership to defend against. I am not a fan of short termism but he, s not the right man for Everton. You could do a lot worse than David Unsworth who better to bring through the great pool of young talent.

Koeman gets paid a huge wage to manage our team .
We the supporters obviously get nothing we just love our team .
We as novices say play Davies, Lookman, Mirralas and possibly Naisse .
He chooses none of them I just do not understand him
Against Bournemouth in desperation he brought on Naisse who scored 2 today he brings on Mirralas once we go behind and is a immediate improvement.
We cannot understand WHY OH WHY he does NOT play them from the start .
Sadly he will still be here for some time and sadly it could be to late when they realise .
Wrong players, wrong formation!
Just what CAN WE DO?
Lyon, Arsenal, Lyon again Leicester and Chelsea
Loose them all and perhaps he will get the sac
I never been so upset and annoyed I am livid.

seems like I am the only one that has some patience, results poor and worst of all performance is poor but we have to give it time it will come good it's just too early for to push the panic button. This club is going through a massive part of its future, expectations are the blame we were bigged up not because we spent lots cause we haven't it's just been massive to us fans as we have not spent like this before. Couple of wins and things look a whole lot better.

Good post True blue. We need to give Rk some more time. If and it is a big if, he can get this group of players performing to the standard we know they can plus the added impetus of getting Coleman and Bolasie back we could still have a good season.
I read somewhere Koeman suffered the same at Southampton, having only 6 points after the same amount of games. They ended up 6th that season. I'm sure if we repeated that this season we'd all be pretty happy.
I know the performances have been dire and that is worse than the points tally but I still think our biggest issue is confidence and that can only be solved by a couple of good results.
