Tomorrow I hope a few changes are made,
I know we got caught off guard against the spuds but Howard didn't even make a token effort to dive for the goal, I can't say I'm his biggest fan but I've picked up on this on a good few occasions this season, Robles should be stepping up to the plate now.
Naismith, Osman and Pienaar I see as impact players in the last 15 when Martinez makes his timely changes,

I hope we start with:-

Robles
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
McCarthy Barry
Deulofeu Barkley McGeedy
Mirallas

& Lukaku or Traore brought in if Barkley is not pulling his finger out with Mirallas dropping off

And one more thing - Mirallas pass the #*@!ing ball

I'm not even playing that player manager game you know lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - if robles does come in baz, i will be very afraid..there is no way he is even half the keeper of tim!..

I hear you Ed, it might just be me but I'd like to see Robles given a shot, I can't remember the last time I saw Howard come and receive the ball from a corner, and when I see him rooted not even making an effort when teams score against us it just makes me fume.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that's a bit harsh baz, in quite a few games he has saved us points in my opinion

I agree ed. This is a game where we need to start with our strongest team. Howard is more reliable than Robles and Swansea are no mugs. Let's take advantage of the fact that we are at home and see them off at Goodison. We don't need a potential banana skin down in Wales with a replay. I'd like to see Traore start. He's now apparently fit and firing on all cylinders in training.
With Lukaku back shortly maybe we can see the two of them playing off each other.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - I'm expecting a really tough game davey, with michu, and bony they pose a real goal threat, and it would bite your hand off for a scrappy 1-0 win..

Howard is one of the better keepers out there who is tried an tested at English premier level just because Joel is better than Tim in your head it don't mean that's reality imo Joel won't even be ready when Tim hangs up his gloves

Agree0 Disagree0

Howard is top class.yeah he gets beaten as do most keepers but a lot of the time its when a shot is deflected or thru his legs.he a top keeper but all in all robles isn't ready to step into his shoes yet

Nothing to do with Everton, more a bit of football banter. Does anyone else think Mourinho has overstepped the mark with his insults of Wenger? I think he has really behaved quite badly and set a terrible example to youngsters. If I was part of the FA, I would throw the book at him for bringing the game into disrepute. His accusation of Wenger being a specialist at failure borders on the slanderous to me. I am no Wenger lover, but he has won trophies in the past and has also always played the most attractive football. If Van Persie had stayed there, I am sure they would have won a trophy or two. I know Wenger said something about Mourinho's Chelsea having a fear of failure. But to come back with such an insult. I do not understand it?

Agreed. There's mind games and there's being a p*nis

I can't stand the arrogant git. He is managing the correct team for him in the Chavs. The fact is that Real Madrid couldn't wait to get rid of him.

He comes out with crap every time he opens his stupid mouth. He is like a drunk Uncle at a wedding rambling on and on. Yet the media over here love him. The way they go all gooey and luvvy around him is embarrassing.

He was hated in Spain and Italy due to his antics. As the media over there can see through all the BS.

I am not Arsenes' biggest fan but I know who I would rather have managing us, and it is not the obnoxious one.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy may be a great manager. But as a person he always comes across as an arrogant person. I thought what Wenger said was spot on. Mourinho's response was pathetic.

Agree0 Disagree0

How anyone can call Wenger a failure specialist is beyond me. To be a failure means he hasn't won anything. A little bit of egg on your face there Moaninho.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourinho lacks class and is perfectly suited at Chelsea. Thank goodness Roberto is the exact opposite and speaks calmly and with reasoned judgement and Mike's spot on. The media lap up his comments fawning over themselves for the latest wind up.
Tonight showed Chelsea up for who they are at City and tomorrow there will be more appearing from this gob****e in the Sunday papers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourinho only wins things by spending a lot of money. How he can even talk about Wenger is beyond me. The guy will get what's coming to him. When the media turns on him he will have nowhere left to go. And his children will have to be educated somewhere else.

Football has lost one of its greatest ever players & ambassadors - the wonderful Sir Tom Finney. I'm sure every Evertonian will want to pass on their condolences to both his family & Preston North End, his only club.
If Ross Barkley wanted a role model to emulate, I would hope he would choose Sir Tom, in preference to any of the greedy, glory hunters that play today.

Tom was a credit to the game.a great footballer and a gentleman by all accounts
amazing to think that like most players of his time that he also worked as a plumber.
rest in peace tom

Tom Finney a sad loss, a great man in every respect .a one club man and a gentleman. It was a pleasure to have seen him play at Goodison on many occasions. An equal to the late Stanley Matthews in every way . Thoughts are with his family and all at Preston North End at this sad time. RIP Tom

RIP Sir Tom Finney. A one man club player with not an ounce of malice in his body. A true servant not only to his club but also to his country. An icon.
