Cheers Jay, that gave me a nice warm feeling just before I start a 10 hour shift outside in the rain lol.

It is really quiet at the moment though Ed, we need some rumours from Gandolph and some more of Trishe's usual stuff.

Roll on the weekend, I can't believe how much TV coverage we are getting, seems like we have been on telly more already than the whole of last year.

Ever since Everton have been linked with Odidja-Ofoe I've took an interest in him and started to watch a few Brugge games. I tell you what, the lad's got a belter of a left foot on him, I watched a game and he scored 2 absolute screamers. Looks like he can pick out a pass too. I hope he can join us in January.

What with you keeping an eye on him Jay, you have to be certain that DM is too and if he's producing the form you say he is and scoring some goals along the way I'm sure he'll be on his way to us in January.

Thats if Brugge allow it...

Agree0 Disagree0

Brugge were open to him coming on loan, (though I believe there was a fixed fee to make it permanent), that should tell you that they aren't overly keen on keeping him, you don't just loan your best players out, can you imagine us sending Fellaini or Jelavic out on loan? They may try to play hardball and drive up his price if his performances are anything to go by but I think it's a done deal or at least I hope it is. Him and Donovan would complete the jigsaw for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to see us get him and play a 4-2-3-1 formation with Vadis and Gibbo holding and playing Mirallas, Pienaar and Fell-uy-eeny behind Jelavic. Or have I been playing too much FIFA cos DM seems to be very rigid with his formations but it would be nice to see some experimentation for a change. But if it ain't broken...sorry for the oxymoron

just a thought with the rs now doing another roof on our old stamping ground,
why cant the blues put the bid back for the park, the 1 we had knocked back before the rs with what we want we get stepped in

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Because we're skint mate. Unless someone's prepared to bank roll us there's no chance whatsoever. Oh and there's also the fact that the majority of the city council support the rs, any application would get veto'd just because they can.

Regeneration grants can also help us, did'nt we have a fund for the ground?. plus we have just created a free school should give us an edge,

Were all bitter you know that lol.

If Liverpool do stay at Anfield, then there is no chance that we could build where they were going to as it is right next door. They wont allow 2 stadiums that close together. It has nothing to do with the council being Liverpool fans FFS.

As long as we are doing well Goodison will do for me. I hear the rs are also thinking of having the goals at anfield replaced with barn doors. (Wavertree Blue)

I've heard they've just ordered a wagon load of cows @rs$es and banjos to go with the barn doors.

We play QPR next. Why not wait until we are about to play Liverpool before we start worrying about them.

It's clear Moyes has an answer to Brenda's style of play as was seen in last season's 2 games against the swans, therefore I'm thinking it most likely we'll win the derby quite comfortably unless we're on the end of some more shocking refereeing decisions
