Matt Phillips is a quality player plays on the right wing but can play upfront, dont think we should sell coleman as when hibbert/neville retire he will be given a chance to shine at rb! Rodwell will have an amazing season this year the only player we need to get rid off is Anichebe.

Was in need of a good laugh, so had a look at the RS sight, now i wouldnt lower myself to post on it, but some of the delusions they have are brilliant, if anyone needs a lugh you should go on and cheer yourself up. Well Naismith wages on a 4 year deal probably equates to 5 mill of that so that would leave us with 5 for Pienaar based on getting rid of yobos wages which is probably the delay, not Spurs so I wouldn't be too excited with a figure of 10 mill, when you chuck in wages it's 2players on 4 year deals

Yobo - should be made to come back for pre season, we should not loan him again if fenerbache cant or wont pay the price we should put him on the transfer list and let British clubs look to sign him, they will keep loaning until he's out of contact absolutely no good for us, im sure a club here will pay £2m for him?
I thought that even a loan deal could involve some sort of fee (sort of like a lease or rental arrangement) as well as some arrangement over wages. Can anyone offer an informed view on this?

Personally I will be more than happy if we can sign Pienaar and get the issues around naismith sorted. Also expecting atleast one free signing or loan move. Hopefully, we can finaly move Yobo on but unless we bring in another striker i would keep victor (leaving us with Jelly, naismith and victor able to play upfront) if mucha is to go then obviously we will need to replace him with, hopefully a young GK. I would be so excited by donovan/hoilet/dempsey but personally i cant see it without someone moving on, which i dont want.

I, and many others go on to other teams sites to find out the feelings of their teams supporters on whatever their club are doing, sometimes we add a bit of "banter" but I have got to say although some of your posters are very funny others are aggressive and almost xenophobic.
What are you actually scared of? join in the banter, look at other teams sites you may learn something.

Not the most exciting news for the upcoming season but just shows how committed the club are to the future. I dont know if anyone remembers but theres a young Aussie guy who plays for sydney fc called Terry Antonis that Everton signed before the contract was terminated due to his age. Well I have been keeping an eye on the lad and he is very talented and is already captaining Australia under 20's, terry has been linked to a few clubs in Germany recently but I know for a fact Everton are still very dedicated to taking him to goodison and we are also his first choice once his contract is up with Sydney fc!

Manc coming in peace, I came over to see what you thought of the Baines situation. It didnt surprise me that you dont want him to go. But then I read that you would like Hernandez. There is no chance we would consider getting rid of him, the reason he was played less last season was because he never had a rest due to the copa America and then pre season, this is why fergie refused to let him go to the Olympics. He will be a key player next season.

Really hope that it comes off Mikey. I just wish we had gave him the contract he had wanted in the first place as the lad must obviously have the club in his heart and it probably would have saved us a few bob in the long run. Will get attacked for this but I actually believe Carroll could be a good player, if he played for a club like Everton. Moyes would get him into line and imagine the strikeforce of him and Jelavic.

Guys I've seen lots of post and comment from ed's about not wanting Owen even as back up striker and cant help but feel we might be judging him a bit unfairly we are comparing him now to what he was like at his peak and if were honest he was the best striker in the country if not europe at one point and I agree he not the player he was but looking at his record last season he made 4 starts and a further 13 as sub and sub scoring 5 goals so even if he got a full 45 mins in the sub game he still only played 10.5 full 90 mins and still scored 5 goals I know this isnt a very scientific way of looking at it but i think he could do a job covering injuries and backing up the first team a pay as you play deal would be a good bit of business as he will have to be showing form in training to get a game and a payday I know this is a contentious issue but lets not judge him on the colour of his first shirt :)

I think Owen would be a great edition to the club if he stays fit he's proved he still knocks in goals
