What's with the £50m on 2 strikers borrocks?
Its down to the fee we got for Torres. They knew we had money so rinsed us. Its relative.
The reason Neville didn't get off wasn't loyalty neither. Spurs offered about 50p for him.

To Blert Mayne. . It quite obvious you have had a good little run. .However, Wigan have exposed that Liverpool still need to buy big; £50M on two strikers, who's real worth is £20M on a good day. Your problems are with your back four mate and the midfield are not much better. The money spent on Carroll, would have been better served buying a couple of defenders and a winger or two. You will come unstuck well before the seasons over. Also from what is about to happen to Liverpool with Hicks & Gillett about to take you to the cleaners again. Should be fun to watch.

Seriously mate if you're going to try and respond in kind. At least try and do it with valid points please. Instead of made up BS like you would hear on Kraptalk.
The only problem with our back 4 was not the defenders but the managers tactics (Hodgson). But he has gone, now we have a new manager in. and have 4 clean sheets in 6 games. We've conceeded 4 goals in these 6 games, which shows we are one of the best defences in the PL at the momment.
We did not spend reckless money on Carroll and Suarez. I would have paid 25 mill for Carroll and 30-35 mill for Suarez. So no matter what way you look at it, it would have amounted to the same.
It's no secret our midfield is week. But only in the wide areas. But you can guarantee that NESV will address this problem in the summer. Mireless and Lucas have been 2 of our best players this year. Stevie hasn't played well this season i'll concede that, but Lucas and Raul have been more than able to step up to the plate.
To say that Hicks and Gillett will take us to the cleaners again is just wishful thinking. Hicks and Gillett have their case heard in front of the same Judge (Mr Justice Floyd) they tried to shaft by another Judge in Texas. So what way do you see the Judge's verdict going?
Now please respond again and tell me what your club has going for it at the momment? Because as you can see i can't find anything, please enlighten me.

I don't know who you are or which team you support, (although you're probably a "glory hunter fan" who says he supports whichever team is doing well!), but I'd like to put you right about the points you raised.
OK, we're having a poor season & I'm not optimistic about next Saturday, but I will never, repeat, NEVER, support any other football team. In a way I pity you because you obviously have no idea about what it REALLY means to support a team. How that team becomes part of your life & something you think about several times a day, every day.
If, God forbid, my beloved Everton were relegated, I would still support them with all my heart. That's what Everton means to its fans. To quote a Rod Stewart song, "You're in my heart, you're in my soul".
You obviously haven't a clue about what it means to be a real football fan!

Please explain to me how we have not sorted our team out, but you have? You are on the way down as a team and as a club. Which all comes down to results you FOOL. What do you think about being stuffed by Bolton 2-0 yesterday, and now only 3 points above the relegation zone?

You've got to wonder where the money is going from Everton. Players like Rooney Lescott Pienaar all been sold and only real money spent was on Fellani. The gates are decent enough and the shirt sells so why never any funds?
