May be wrong here guys but premier rules state you can have four loan players in a single season but only two at one time, so if we are getting a loanee in jan then denis or drenthe are going or signing up

Degsybluenose {Ed025's Note - if we get lukaku degsy...then denis will be the fall guy..

Just watching the Fulham game! What does everyone think about Dempsey being the player we're missing?!? He's scored a great goal tonight and he play has been good as well. I think he'd come in a heart beat given the chance and Tim could also put in a good word!
I just think he's the Arteta type player we're missing, scores goals, is creative and loves a tackle.
I don't know how much money we have but for me there is no point spending it all on a striker and not being able to provide goals for him, I think we'd get him for £8 million?!?
What do you think Ed?

Mickey Blue Eyes {Ed025's Note - i do like him micky...not as good as mikel, but a very good player, £8m though?...bit too much..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed, do you really think he's not worth £8 million?!?
I don't think we'd get him for any less but £6 million would be nice!
Come on Bill, get the cheque book out before A'rry reads this post!

MBE {Ed025's Note - £6m seems more realistic to me...but you deserve a medal for pointing him out...MBE...

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Dempsey would be a great signing for us!bit of creativity and goals!anybody think trying to resign Andy Johnson?could be bought for cheap as he hasn't signed a new deal for Fulham!

Agree1 Disagree0

I watched the match & was quite impressed with Dempsey, but the player that caught my eye was Dembele. I know we're overstocked with midfielders at the moment but not ones that create chances. I thought Dembele looked terrific. It also struck me that Fulham are not a happy team at the moment, so there could be a chance. Wonder if Jol would consider a swap for Billy? But please, please don't go for Zamora!

Hi ed i noticed on one of my posts you commented about everton making an official approach for lukaku from chelsea on loan! Is that true? {Ed025's Note - yes it is mate....not heard the answer yet...but the approach is genuine..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lets hope they agree and if they do lets also hope amd pray moyes uses him right! Not seen much of him ed! Would you say hes a target man or would he need a strike partner? {Ed025's Note - he can do both mate....he is real quality

Agree0 Disagree1

Cool cheers for that info ed! Ill be keeping an eye out for any more news on that then :-)

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes ed weve all been let down many times, kenwright needs to be more realistic with the asking price and stop making out that theres four interested parties when am getting told steve ross is the only one to make an offer.....rememer the red sh.te had maktoom ready to takeover till they messed him about,he walked an the rest is history .i will say no more on this matter,,,,,,goodbye gandolph {Ed025's Note - see ya

If Chelsea only want £20m for Torres, why don't we straight swap him for Rodwell.....

Believable1 Unbelievable3

As much as i love everton, why oh why would a player like torres sign for us. we'd have to offer him stupid money to compensate him never winning a trophy whilst with us {Ed025's Note - torres is not even on the radar mate!...as is anyone costing big money..

My mate works at Granada on the sports desk. One of their sources says that we're stepping our interest in Lewis McGugan.

So billys off in january we could 5mill easy of a russian club, so that plus however much billy liar gives moyes should get us a decent striker and maybe another winger or creative midfeilder, who would you go for?

Howard
Hibbert jags distin baines
Fellaini
Coleman barkley bily
Denis velliuos

Would like to see 2 strikers for the swansea game! Saha doesnt have it anymore so top goal scorer should start with denis who needs to show what he can do! I started bily because drenthe is injured and i cant stand osman, barkley got raving reviews in the youth cup win against palace so its about time moyes plays him and gives him a free role, fellani will sit infront of back 4 let barkley loose! Plenty of height in the box for crosses velious is alot more mobile than denis so let him run around and denis can bully defenders, we hve to win this game and the same old tiresome formation and players is just not working! Change it moyes! If you choose the same team and tactics and we lose then you should go! If we win then you have only bought yourself more time! We still want to see attacking football at goodison!

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I'd rather have Ossie than Bily any day of the week, at least he has a go.

I would put Saha instead of denis too

Agree3 Disagree1

Ossie is 10 times better than billy

Just read in interview with Saha. Never really sure what to make of these things due to editing by the media but here's a couple of quotes,
"My relationship with the coach? It's logical there are small tensions,"
"Being banned from the group? Maybe he wanted to provoke me.
"The most important thing is we had the explanations I needed. Now I am playing again."

I don't think any player should come out and say there are tensions between them and the manager, and why is it 'logical'? If you're not going to say something positive then keep your mouth shut! He says now he's playing again...Could it be a similar thing to Billy? Kick up a fuss and you'll be in the starting eleven the week after. Has Moyes gone soft? Could this be part of the problem? No firm leadership anymore. Another one read,
"When a player like Drenthe came at the last moment and Arteta left, it is disturbing. We had to find our bearings again."

What does he mean by this.? 'A player like Drenthe'. Sounds fairly insulting to me but again, it's difficult to get the context from these interviews. If I was Drenthe, however, I would be looking for an explanation as to why this is so 'disturbing'!.....Finally,
"I've finally learned to manage myself. Being 33 I can't achieve the same things I did before. In the past, I always played instinctively.
"Now there are more managed runs, fewer useless gestures. I am more focused on efficiency."

Efficiency eh Louis? Where? A few more useless gestures might acually turn out to be useful. Try it.

Everton are supposed to have these good youngsters like Green coming through - does anyone know how you can go along and watch them?

Is it a couple of quid on an otherwise boring evening to go and watch potential future england players? At small local grounds?

I see Ross Barkley is frustrated with lack of first team opportunities ... Well he would be because he is exciting and attacking and not boring ... unlike Moyes and the way Moyes likes his teams to play.
Time for a change ..Maybe a Norwich victory may make him realise its time to move on ...I doubt it tho arrrrrr

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Dyou remember waltor smith? i sure do, i also remember mark pembridge and ginola... bad times. If it wasn't for moyes we'd be in the championship. What do you know about devoloping young talent? or tactics? a hell of a lot less than a trained coach thats for sure. {Ed025's Note - no one is saying he has not done a good job mate..as for ross, he should be playing more, if you are good enough, your old enough, we dont want another rooney situation, where he is nurtured for someone else to benefit!..
