So the 'Sun' does it again, that should put another 30 years of it not appearing in the Newsagents locally, disgusting .

mackenzie is just an absolute beaut. his comments and remarks have been timed to perfection, to get as much publicity as possible no matter how adverse.
And shame on that rag that calls itself a newspaper for publishing that article given its already ruined beyond repair relationship with the city.
our great club does so many fantastic and charitable things for the city and community so surely now is the time to severe all ties with that dispicable publication.
rant over, here's to 3 points against burnley.

Disgusting actions, once again, from a disgusting publication. The timing of this is totally out of order. They are basically sticking two fingers up to the stricken families and the city. We have stood shoulder to shoulder with our neighbours on this subject from day one so why are we, as a club, still entertaining this rag? Time we followed Liverpool's lead and ban this scum from our games.

I am amazed and even bemused why anyone in this City that knows the history with this rag would buy it.

{Ed025's Note - dead right BCT, if i see one i rip it up as a matter of principle mate..

That Mackenzie stating he knew nothing of Barkleys family background, very poor journalist then surely checking the background is key to journalism!

great to see that the club has banned the rag.

{Ed007's Note - Well done Everton and not before time. I know that Celtic supporters have been trying to get the Club to do it for years now and hopefully this is the catalyst for more clubs to follow your example. For me every football fan should be petitioning their club to ban that despicable rag from having access.}

Just been reading about Roberto carlos Brazilian left back. He scored his first ever Brazil goal against Japan in the umbro cup on 6th June 1995 at goodison park.

Went to that game, think a few of the future Brazil stars played.

OK, Lukaku as all but gone! Gutted as we will miss his goals but not his "I'm this and that". I believe with Koeman we will get two better strikers for our club and maybe his goals will be spread throughout the team as our new striker might work his socks off and actually pass to better placed players.
Barkley, I also believe he has all but gone and his agent has secured a deal with a London club or Man utd. Barkley wants champions league but needs to start performing in the big premier league games first. Again if he goes and sigurdsson joins then it's an upgrade, he maybe older but in three years who knows what youth players will come through. All-in-all, if they go it's their loss!

Im not worried at all. To be honest hopefully they will both go at the end of the season. i'm fed up of the circus its turned into.

Besides if rom goes we could potentially sign 2 good strikers to replace him. i'd love lacazette but that's unrealistic.
Barkley goes then he can easily be replaced. i'd love sigurdson and tielmans.
Lose 2 gain 4. Squad be stronger and deeper for it. Like people have already mentioned. Instead of us throwing all our eggs into 1 basket (lukaka) maybe the goals can be spread out a little.

I agree anomblue, we are in better shape now than we was last year plus if lukaku got/ gets injured then we are stuffed. 3 more points please and give Koeman what he wants!

Agree as well. I would love siggurdson and the 10 or so goals he brings plus the assists. Then hopefully we get a 15 - 20 goal a season striker and we have more goals than lukaku and barkley and some money left.

Worth far more than £60 Mill and especially in instalments. Every Club is a selling Club if the price is right but we are now creeping towards the ranks of not necessary so.

The thing with Barkley for me is that in all his games for us, he has around 25-30 goals for us. He plays behind the striker and should be hitting around 10-15 goals per season imo.

When he gets the ball he turns and instantly looks lost as with what to do with the ball, apart from try to run through defender to get in the box. If the link with spuds is true then I can only think they want to strengthen there U23 team, as I see no place for Barkley in front of Alli and definitely not in front of Erikson.

He should stay put before he becomes another Franny Jeffers. If he goes then we will replace him and I'd hope to see Dowell push on through fir next season. Former he is more talented than Barkley anyway.

I would feel a little bit more confident about Evertons future if our new investor had put some of his own money into the current projects. Liverpool council could end up with a huge bill at the end of all this. What concerns me is that Moshi was at Arsenal during the Suarez saga bit to sharp for me.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Everton will be paying rent to offset the bill the council are underwriting and the situation with Suarez seems to be something you don't understand. I spent the summer explaining about the money when he first arrived - I won't be doing it again this summer.}

14 Apr 2017 14:42:23
seems you don't grasp what is happening at our beloved club the stadium is costing the council nothing and have they have nothing to worry about regarding Moshiri at Arsenal he had no say in how things were done as Stan Kroenke owns so many shares he makes all decisions hence why moshiri wanted out.
