RIP Martin Fulop. The lad lost his battle against cancer at the age of 32. Played for a few premiership teams over the years and wasn't a bad keeper. Very young and very sad.

{Ed025's Note - very sad news that spud, 32 is far too young mate..

Anyone think we'd manage 15 points out of next 21 points? As in the next 7 games. Surely have to be aiming for at least that.

I'd e disappointed if we weren't looking for 21 points! Perhaps optimistic though?

Hi all can anybody spread any light as to if the derby on the 27th of Feb will be going ahead or will it be changed.

ED25, If you could buy just one player in Jan, who would it be? say budget of 15mill.

{Ed025's Note - mahrez from leicester would be good JCW, although £15m may not be enough, we need someone who can open up a defence and link the midfield to the forwards, we also could do with another option up front as an injury to lukaku would derail our season mate..

Yarmolenko could be bought for 7 million now as free agent in 6 months, spend the other 8 on Austin, I know not going to happen but sounds good on paper.

Yarlomenko signed new 5 year deal but still wants to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Dynamo Kyiv managed to persuade Yarmolenko not to move this past summer and managed to get him to sign a new contract. There has been interest over the past year from Roma, Spurs, Stoke, Fiorentina, Everton, Inter and Dortmund. Bayer Leverkusen, Valencia, Napoli and Manchester City all dropped their interest and PSG, who were considering Yarmolenko as a possible option to replace Lavezzi this past summer, seem to have done the same - at least for now but there is a reasonable chance Lavezzi could move in January. Yarmolenko has expressed a desire to move to Barcelona or Chelsea - and there has been more than one approach made directly to the Chelsea to gauge their interest. Right now it looks like Barcelona are considering their options for a January bid, but much will depend for them on an entirely separate matter. Whilst an approach was made to the agent of Yarmolenko by Arsenal in the summer, nothing could be done. He spent the summer screwing everyone around and there is still a lingering view he could do the same in January. I don't know if anything can be done or if Arsenal or Barcelona will push, but Piero Ausilio was at a recent game to look again at him - so Inter might still be in the mix.}

My mistake, just googled Yarmolenko and he signed a new deal until 2020, don't know how I missed that one though, won't get him for 15 million now, damn Ukranians lol.

Don't think we were ever going to get anywhere with this lad anyway, seemed to be playing teams off each other probably waiting in hope for a champions league team (Barca and Chelsea were both sounded out I believe) . Not to mention how tricky it must be to deal with his current team, these Ukrainians seem to move the goalposts at every opportunity.
