Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

12 Mar 2012 23:29:26
More than anytime now,I really think that it would be massively appropriate if ALL Evertonians, true Evertonians that is......not these Blue Union so called Everton fans.....gave not only David Moyes, but also Bill Kenwright a massive vote of overwhelming confidence in what they are Both trying to do for our famous and beloved Club,by showing our support in the form of Banners etc proclaiming Moyes as the brilliant & loyal Manager he is....and also Blue Bill Kenwright for being stubborn in insisting he will only sell the Club to the right & proper person, who can truly take this great Club of ours forward. It seems some Everton Fans are quick to demonstrate against them both inside & outside the ground, with their banners caliing for Kenwright to go........obscene! Time to raise some Banners proclaiming both Moyes & Kenwright, and demonstrate in support of Kenwright & He will get it right....when the time & person is right....for ALL Evertonians.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Protesting against Kenwright is one thing, but your willing to support him, what for? People really do have short term memories, yes, January was nice, but look at the bigger picture, we are in trouble financhially and expect a similar summer to last season.

Supporting Kenwright, HE DOESNT DO ANYTHING!

Agree0 Disagree0

He works his ass for our club, HE DOESNT DO ANYTHING, what sort of a statement is that, tell you what lets go out and find some loaded chicken farmers, we would be so better off then wouldnt we, get a grip lad, we are in a good place, I know we havent got millions to spend but so what

BU GOODNITE FOR GOOD

Agree0 Disagree0

Blind loyalty is just as bad as the extreme abuse. Get your thinking cap on

Agree0 Disagree0

How on Earth are we in a good place? This past season we have sold SEVEN, yes SEVEN senior players to appease the banks, and we replace those SEVEN players with 2 permanent replacements, and used 3 loans (which will probably be gone by the start of next season. Now I am no maths expert, but that isnt going to work for much longer if we have to continue to sell players.

So our squad will be paper thin with those 3 who play a pretty big role in the team as it is, and how are we going to replace them with no money?

Oh yeah, then there is the problem with the bank, who are we going to sell next?

Maybe saying he doesnt do anything is a tad harsh, and I maybe should of said something else, but to say support Kenwright is plain ridiculous, and I aint even a supporter of the Blue Union, and then you say we are in a good place? Yes, in the short term, but what SO many people forget is the long term picture of the club, including Billy Boy.

Everton are in a good place, I'll have what your having their mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

And I love the so what part. I guess when Everton have sold their best players and are struggling and battling relegation, it will be so what hey? At least Billy Boy is a blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get over yourself you BU numpty, you have already in your simple little mind returned Drenthe, Stracq and Pienaar to their respective teams, you always look on the negative side of life, think positive for once.

Oh no instead start demonstrating, trying to ridicule one of our owners (the skint one) and keep depressing the supporters that have the ability to think positive

BU dead and buried for good

im just thinking what the team should be for tomorrow and personally the only change should be pienaar coming in for coleman really.
Howard
RB Neville
CB Heitinga
CB Distin
LB Baines
RW Drenthe
CM Osman
CM Fellaini
LW Pienaar
Cahill
Jelavic

i wouldn't mind the straq playing up with jelavic though instead of cahill

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yeh, think that is a decent starting line up, really should give the red s**te a good smacking at Klanfield.

Moyes seems to be relishing the job at the moment and he is building a talented young side with so many promising youngsters coming through. I can see moyes sticking around and hopefully getting the investment the club long for. {Ed025's Note - since the january window, he seems to have a new lease of life, its amazing what a signing or two can do to a managers demeanour..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2012 21:38:49
I think Johnny has done really well for us since the turn of the year. With Jags , Distin, Heitinga & Duffy we look really solid in that dept. {Ed025's Note - i agree...johnny seems to have stepped up to the plate since jags got injured, its going to be hard for jags to get back in the way him and distin are playing..

Believable6 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2012 21:35:37
The derby is a game where Jelavic stamping his name on it would do wonders for his confidence in a blue shirt. He's started well, how about another in front of the kop. {Ed025's Note - that would make my day mate, when we signed the jelly man, the red snides were on here telling us how bad he was...i would love to see them eating humble pie..

12 Mar 2012 21:32:09
Ladbrokes offering 7/2 for a blues win tomorrow, that's got to be the odds of the century.....I can feel a Kanchelskis moment coming on. A draw and no injuries for saturday would do me but I do think we'll sneak it. I also think that Stevie 'G'....obs**te and the boys are gonna boot us all over the pitch. We've got to watch Drenthe cos he is a derby game red card waiting to happen. Big rumours of a RS protest against the 'King' before the game.......typical sad twxts. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - long live the king i say wavo....lol

Believable3 Unbelievable0

The King will soon be leaving the building Ed. (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - lets hope not wavo...i think he,s doing a fine job mate..

£2.42m average net spend over moyes 10 years. Consistent top 6/7 finishes. Not always the brand of football we would like but those figures say it all. He is a legend, we need a trophy though.

It's gotta be our time, we've not won there in over a decade. However all teams tend to **** themselves at Anfield but we should be so up for this and we are a BETTER team than them, of this I am 100% certain. Drenthe to start but he needs to keep his head! Jelly man upfront too. Whats your prediction ed? {Ed025's Note - 0-0 for me mate...i dont think we will lose, but i am erring on the side of caution..COYB..

Personally can't wait for the Derby tomorrow! i've not met one confident scum fan either... I reckon a nice 3-1 jelly first goal, then kuyt equalizer, then cahill, and to top it all off johnny heitinga in the last ten minutes just to finish them off!
COYB! {Ed025's Note - now that would be nice....i hate to sound pessimistic, but it has a draw written all over it..

Kenny Dalg...er... big nev {Ed025's Note - get on your own site, you moron. keep kenny in a job please...we are praying for it!..

Has anyone got any favourite derby moments they'd like to share?
Two of mine have to be Sheedy scoring with a free kick in front of the kop in 1987 then running towards them flicking the V's as a celebration. He was later hauled in front of the FA and stated he had his fingers the other way round in a victory salute. I think he got away with it as well.
My second has to be big Dunc straddling McAteer on the floor and threatening to slap him about, the look on McAteers face was priceless, he sh*t himself.
Anyone else got any blasts from the past?

Behind Blue Eyes

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Big dunc throwing s**thouse ince to the ground at scumfield

Agree0 Disagree0

That was going to be one of mine as well but I opted for the big Dunc and McAteer episode instead. The Ince moment was one to savour though, the self appointed 'guvnor' well and truly bottled it on that occasion.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2012 19:00:30
Boys & girls, just stop for a moment and answer a few questions...
1) When Moyes signed Denis Stracqualursi, who believed he was going to be the player he is today, and who thought it was just a cover up as we had got nobody in?
2) When a rumour went around that people laughed at Strac in training as he trained like a child, who believed it, and lost faith in Moyes, and who didn't believe it?

I believed Strac was going to be a backup, but not s good as today.

And I didn't believe that anybody at Everton would have laughed at somebody, never mind the rolocking they would get from Moyes anyway...

Howard
hibbert
distin
jags
baines
osman
felli
pienaar
heitinga

straq

Subs: drenthe, mucha, neville, jelavic, rodwell, victor, coleman.

The merseyside derby at last. One of the best fixtures in football. For once we have a selection headache, do we play the inform hietinga and distin or do we bring back jags. Do we play the legendary Cahill or the Straq. Do we play Jelavic or rest him.
Personally I would play:
Howard
Neville Hietinga Distin. Baines
Drenthe. Osman. Fellani. Pienaar
Cahill
Jelavic
After 60 mins I would bring on Straq for Jelavic and Barkley for Cahill
Blue Kaz

Believable4 Unbelievable0

That would be my team too. Neville gets too much stick on here. He organises the team well and is a v good defender. Midfield aint his position but RB i have no problems with since Hibbert isn't exactly lightyears ahead. and he isnt our captain. Cahill works his socks off and now we have drenthe and pienaar going forward with jelavic, cahill's goals are less important. His work rate will be vital in a derby. Good team Blue Kaz.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2012 17:36:08
i dont want to temp fate but i feel we will win tomorow, we now have confidence and belief, we have drenthe who is learning to play the way we need him to, we have pienaar back, osman who is a superb player when hes in top form, a very tight defence with jonny and distin and now a goalscorer, even our bench looks strong with players like hibbert, coleman, straq, barkley, rodwell, anichebe, jags.
if we play our best we will win no doubt but more often than not when we play them we stall and end up with 1 or 2 players sent off. this time we need cool heads and we will be fine, come on you blues.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2012 17:35:44

I hope Heitinga shows his crown jewels to the kop if he scores, now that would be brill!!

12 Mar 2012 14:44:00
Take a look at our goals against apart from man city we are as good as anyone just makes me wonder where we may be in league now if we had a goalscorer at the start of season. But looking at table now if we can win at the red s**t then we should be targeting 6th and who knows may well win the cup what a season that would be but let's take one game at a time but we are the form side with 11 games to go let's go for it as we can and have proved we can beat the top sides

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Still think we can get 6th yet mate, newcastle have us last game of the season and they have a few harder fixtures...

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I know its a big ask but looking at our form I think we could do it win tomorrow not only closes gap on Newcastle but gives us momentum with 10 games to go I predicted 7th or 8th at start of season so come on blues Europe is the aim and win fa cup what a season that would be after poor 1st half of the season again could be written in script for Moyes 10th year

12 Mar 2012 13:52:42

i know the derby will be a battle but i hope davey goes for the throat, i dont mind sittin back now and again but i always sh@t myself when we are at analfield, plus we aint won there since KC and his sunshine band played there in 99.
so its over due

Come on blues we aint got money but we got heart, look at Suarez the cheat now wanting to jump ship liverfools have stood by him now he wants out
kk £140 MIL spent on carling cup fkn priceless

Believable3 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2012 12:57:01
Who would of thought we would get maximum points from our last 3 home games! Fantastic! Saturdays result made me think about the drw with qpr! If we would of won that were be above the s**te now! But we got another chance of going above them tomorrow and to within 4 points of newcaste! As it stands now! Moyes doesnt need to change the side too much just pienaar for coleman and denis for jelavic! I think the derby game is made for denis he will hasstle the defence for 90 minutes! And he will get the crowd going! Keep jelavic fresh for sunderland at the weekend!
Im pretty optomistic about tomorrow if we can play like we did in the first half against spurs then the s**te wont knw what hit them! But if we play like we did in the second half then suarez will punish us! We need keep going once we score cant keep sitting back and hoping to hang on! My heart cant take another second half like we had at the weekend!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

That's the annoying thing, at home i'm always confident of us winning but away Moyes seems to have the mentality of "don't lose" instead of "lets go and win this".... This is my only concern about the derby game, although we are easily capable of winning them, Moyes over the years has always paid far too much respect to away teams especially Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool we haven't won at all in his 10 years at these 4 clubs away from Goodison.
I hope he takes a chance, forget it's a derby, this team is low on confidence, in bad form, and are under pressure, if we go at them and score early we have a great chance. The first goal in a derby is always massive

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2012 12:43:52
Since Moyes' ten years in charge has hit the headlines, he's being linked with basically everyone. We have a good run and everyone reportedly wants a piece of our David.
Chelsea.... Why would any manager want to go there knowing you might be out on your ear in six months?
Spurs.... Moyes is defensive minded as we all know. Can't see that going down too well there.
Man U.... This one would probably turn his head, although they are some big boots to fill at Old Trafford. Massive gamble.
Moyes knows he's safe at Goodison. Why not kick on from those ten years and become even more of an Everton legend than he already is?!
Alan Shearer was quoted as saying,

"A tough Scot with a similar background to Ferguson, he is a proper manager of men.

When was the last time you heard about a mutiny, bust-up or disciplinary problems at Goodison?"

This is very true, however, the players we have are a bunch of hard working, honest lads who get on with their job without crying about it. Thats in the DNA at Everton... It's part of what our club is all about. No big egos (Drenthe excluded), just grafters. I can't see Moyes having too many sleepless nights over keeping them in line. Can you imagine if Baines got told off? He'd burst into tears, bless him. Stay at Goodison Moyes... You know it makes sense.

All you guys now slagging the blue union off

I posted an email that I sent to Bill a couple of months ago telling them to ignore the BU as they don't speak for the majority. I never got a single agree, I did get 6 disagrees (from BU), so all you lot that are now singing Bills praises where were you then, half sticking up for the BU. I could have done with a few agrees then boys but it was plain to see that I was the only one with the balls to stick up for Bill then.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Dont talk s**t mate alot of us havnt like bu from start and have given bill 100% backing remember all the cheers he got at goodison.

Agree0 Disagree0

Strac deserves a place ahead of cahill hes far busier and help jelovic every one loves cahill for his previous form but his goal threat no longer there as to be a sub now maybe get his im pact game back

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to disagree mate, i have backed bill from the start, the BU are a joke, they think there helping but there not, we are what we are and we are in the finacial position were in so get on with it is the majority of everton fans opinions, we have basically ignored the BU

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember your post and I for one pressed agree.

I can honestly say that I agree with what the BU want for our club but don't agree with their tactics

Degsy bluenose

Most true Evertonians don't give toss about the BU. We just needed a striker - in Jellyman we now have. Trust in Moyes and Kenwright they've not let us down in the last 10 years. Show me a fan who isn't excited at the moment and what's different to 3 months ago - financially nothing!

If we don't get funds this summer does anyone think Moyes will be off? A offer from Spurs who have cash could be tempting for Moyes? I hope not, hope the board assure him he will have money, i think Moyes would be happy if he only had 10-15 million

Believable2 Unbelievable2

You have to agree, if Moyes only had 15 million for the summer he would bring in 3-4 players and show mancini and dalglish how you work the transfer market properly

I'd only change 2 players for the derby, Although Jelavic scored i'd replace him for Straq, and save him for the Sunderland game, and Change Coleman for Pienaar.
Howard
Neville Heitinga Distin Baines
Drenthe Fellaini Osman Pienaar
Cahill
Straq

and then for the Sunderland game, same line up as spurs

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Jelavic was superb the other day and he showed he can score in an instant, why would you replace him????

Agree0 Disagree0

I would replace him because he has trained for a week after being injured for a month and we have 3 more games in 7 days, sunderland is a big game, were at home and will attack more than we will at anfield so jelavic class and sharpness in the box will be vital whilst straq grit and hard work will be vital against the reds

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2012 09:35:18
Excellent result at the weekend, i thought our first half performance was as good as anything as i have seen all season. Second half we held on a bit, but with the exception of Saha at the end, i dont think they really looked like scoring. Not sure what Arry was going on about saying we got battered second half!

Only criticism was Coleman! I am starting to think he is looking a bit out of his depth in midfield. He seems to give the ball away every time he gets its and his end product is lacking. The obvious change for the derby is to swap him with Pienaar. Will be interested to see who Moyes favours at centre backs over the next few games now Jags is back. I would stick with Johnny and Distin tomorrow though as they looked solid on Saturday.

Did anyone see Pienaar's face in the crowd on MOTD when Defoe went running through and got tackled by Johnny in the box?

Alastair

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pienaar did look quite excited that Defoe had a chance. Was wondering about that myself Alastair. It could be editing with it only being highlights but if it was real-time I find that quite disappointing.

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

No what was his face like? Gutted or happy ? I hope people are appreciating Osman now that he is back, i said at the very beginning of the season that he was our best player in the 2nd half of last season because he was playing centre midfield, no coincidence to me that in the first part of the season his best games where he scored was when he was playing behind the striker or in the centre and in the first half vs Spurs he was our best player again coincidentally playing in the centre!? Even ed0025 disagreed with me when i said this, but for me he is our best attacking central midfielder and should always play

Agree0 Disagree0

PADDOCKBLUE PS hopefully ED001 will show this post {Ed001's Note - don't act the knob and your posts would go up. But taunting the editors just ensures we don't bother wasting our time with you.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I couldnt work out if it was excitement/concern that Defoe looked like he was through. Yeah i agree with you on Osman, has to play and has to play centrally. I think Ossie, Fellaini and Gibson together in middle when Gibson is fit would work well. The more games i watch Cahill and he doesnt score i am starting to wonder what else he offers us.....
