Any interest in Nick Powell now he has been released.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - This is the Everton page - try the MU page.}

12 Jun 2016 20:50:48
He doesn't play for utd now that he's been released so how would looking on their page help.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Because he is still associated with them whilst having nothing to do with Everton whatsoever.}

12 Jun 2016 22:39:43
even if he was still at utd why would we want him?

13 Jun 2016 11:40:58
I think he ment any interest in us in signing him now he is on a free.

{Ed002's Note - I have deleted it as there are many things in there that are factually incorrect.}

Blue nose isn't there some way else u can pass this info to us.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is incorrect - why would you want it?}

I thought you were an editor not a filter, this is a banter page isn't it. I have to say I enjoy most of what you post here but sometimes you go a bit far. Deleting posts because you deem them to be inaccurate. really.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I can delete whatever I wish. Football fans are lemming like and very easily led, there is no need to feed that with innacurate piffle.}

Hi eds can you shed anything about koeman has everything cooled between all the parties or are we just waiting for the right time to announce it.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed.}

Cheers. Hopefully everthing goes smoothly. Then the next thing in is a new number one.

The England team visited an orphanage in France today. It's heart breaking seeing there little faces with no hope said Pierre age 6.

There are loads of "reports" in the media (traditional and social) most of which are just idle gossip or wishful thinking.
These "reports" have the same effect as another type of "report": breaking wind! WIth that, you get a noise (that attracts your attention) and then find it's just a load of hot air and then you get left with a bad smell. The purveyors of these stories should really be sponsored by Heinz baked beans.

Just read that Victor Anichebe has been released by Westbrom anyone think he's worth bringing back as a squad player?

I don't.

Is this some kind of wind up.

12 Jun 2016 14:16:17
No. Not at all. Not good enough even for a squad player.

13 Jun 2016 00:36:47
Maybe we should express an interest and West Ham or Stoke or Spurs will buy him.

Alright Ed's with Juventus supposedly leading the chase for lukaku what do you think the odds are for mandzukic coming the other way. Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Not a chance.}

12 Jun 2016 11:46:39
reports say Juve only value Lukaku at 40 million euros (about £32 million) So I doubt he will be allowed to go to juve if that's all they are prepared to spend although I'd rather he went to the continent than to another premier league club I also want top dollar for him so I'd say it's either Manchester United or Chelsea if anywhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jun 2016 15:50:41
As if we would take a figure of only 4 million profit.

Not sure if we're still interested but it'll be interesting to see how Yarmolenko gets on today against Germany playing against some world class players. We'll be able to see if he really is as good as his swindling agent and chairman seem to make out.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i have no doubt that the guy is quality gibbo, but as you say the baggage he brings with him puts me right off mate..

12 Jun 2016 14:19:23
Ed025: To be fair, pretty much all of what we read or hear about Yarmolenko - or about any other football situation - is in the media (traditional and social) and I doubt if the vast majority of us truly know what's going on or what "baggage" he'd bring with him. I've no doubt that his character as well as his talent will be taken into account by those clubs thinking about signing him.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - your probably right sid but i know we got messed about by them last season and they are difficult to deal with mate..

12 Jun 2016 23:07:43
The difference with this sid is that a lot has actually come out by the Charman and his agent. I think he's a good player but think he's going to be as much trouble as Lukaka and his crew are.

I just wish these agents would stay in the background. I don't mind them trying to get a move or bigger pay packets for their clients but they have to always drag it out in the press.

Lukaku's reputation with the fans is irreparable. If he goes in the right way people would have a lot more respect for him.

What I saw tonight I don't think he's worth the money they are asking.

Can we please stop slagging off the club we support for the releasing of Ossy Hibbo ans Peanut. Do any of us know for certain how it was done.

In the absence of actually being there no one is really in a position to say for certain. So why not assume in favour of the club doing it in a respectful dignified way.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

12 Jun 2016 10:22:31
According to the BBC they learned about their release by text from friends who heard before them. They are apparently fuming and IF this is a true report, then someone at the club needs a rollicking for releasing the news prior to them being told.

Agree0 Disagree5

12 Jun 2016 11:17:20
I, for one, do not believe this story at all. Someone pointed out on here that the club are obliged to give them prior notice but I'm not an expert on such matters. I'd expect, although ed002 will no doubt have more knowledge on the matter, that there would be something in the contract stating the club must give them notice of termination.
It's sad that two loyal, local lads who have come through the youth system have been released. I'd like to see them, if they decide to retire, given a coaching role but only if they would be of benefit to the club. I think TH may retire, Ossie could still have a year or two left in him.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Jun 2016 11:32:28
Surely they or at least their agents would have been asking the question for four months. If not, their agents are at fault. It would have to have been a purposeful slight in those circumstances for the club to refuse to give answers and then publish the list. Was it the mail and the s*n reported it? I think I'd rather trust the club.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jun 2016 11:50:42
Spudv letting their contracts expire isn't the same as terminating their contracts and i'm sure there would have been a conversation at some point towards the end of the season informing them they wouldn't be recieving another contract offer.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jun 2016 11:59:44
As I said Al, I'm no expert but I'm more than certain that there would have been dialogue between the players, their agents and the club. I don't believe either of them, SP as well, didn't know of the decision before it was released to the public.

Anyone else sick of the London club bias of ITV's Euro16 coverage.
I'm surprised Stones marking hasn't been blamed for the Russian goal and Barkley's lack of creativity for Kane's poor performance.

In regards to Hibbo, Ossie and Pienaar I feel they should have been given the same opportunity to say goodbye as Howard was. The Norwich game was a nothing game so why not give them one last run out, poor from the club I think.
