I see the people callin for moyes's head have gone quiet! They we're starting to sound like them fickle gobs**tes from across the park, real fans support the club, players and manager through thick and THIN! Imwt zeba dee blue

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Absofrigginlutely spot on Zeba

Agree0 Disagree0

Could not agree more where have all the haters gone?........grbefc

Agree0 Disagree0

I do have to admit though Moyes still needs to cut out the negative tactics... last week against Wigan was a shocking decision to bring Neville on for Cahill at half time.
2 dogged, hard working performances against Chelsea and City doesn't make Moyes a attacking tactical genius.
Im happy we got 7 points in the last 3 games but it will be the games against coming up against QPR, West Brom etc that we will see if Moyes will be positive

Agree0 Disagree0

Its partyly becasue the team are now doing what everyone was shouting for - closing down the opposition - we all knew it was needed - why didnt the players n manager? {Ed025's Note - its no coincidence that since the manager has started smiling, that the team has started to improve, we needed a couple of new faces to freshen things up, and lo and behold we got them..

Ed… we need to sign Michel Vorm from Swansea. I see him every week at the liberty if I can't get up to Goodison ( south Wales Toffee ). I can tell you there isn't a better keeper in the league, Howard aside. Some of his saves are world class. And if we can't get him then I suggest we sign Swanseas scouts. The entire team costs less than Our fellie and boy they can play football.

Toffee ace

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Why fix something that is not broke? He may be good and all, but Howard is one of the fan favourites at Everton, works his socks off to keep the team in matches and consistently performs, I would hate to see him sitting on the bench falling out of love with the club that ressurected his career.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not trying to replace Howard. Strength and depth. My post says Vorm is the best bar Howard. To keepers of similar quality fighting for one place. Come on this isn't hard is it?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think howard is a very good keeper but i dont trust him 100%, and think vorm would be great but dont think we would have the money for him, BSM

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah there whole team might cost less than fellie but our whole team probily cost less than Torres and altho we are usually skint it is nice to splash abit knowing our cheep players really pay off so our pricy players will develop to be the bet there is.
Don't here much from the footballing world prasing there undiscovered talent I.e our Cahill, baines, Coleman and straq

Well finally got my first bet of 2012, tenner on lescott first goal at 25/1, paddypower are paying for valentines this year

Degsy {Ed025's Note - i hope thats your bird...and not trisden...lol....nice win mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Defo the misses Ed, blonde, 33, ex model and blind {Ed025's Note - you sound like a very lucky guy degsy....all she needs is a flat head...to rest your pint on..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ay up Degsy. Your missus doesnt come with pump and a puncture repair kit does she? Or have you got your special white jacket on again, you know, the one were your arms go round the back. Ha!

Everton Al.

Agree0 Disagree0

Same as most women Al, may look good but as soon as she opens her mouth it all goes downhill

Degsy {Ed025's Note - dont let her see this degsy...or its deaf and dumb dinners for a month!..

Agree0 Disagree0

I certainly wont Ed cos she will kick my head in

Degsy {Ed025's Note - and rightfully so mate..lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I know what you mean lads. We can't live with them, can't live without them......and all that rubbish. Ha. I hope your missus doesn't come on here Degsy, or your dead meat.

Everton Al. {Ed025's Note - we do like our toffee ladies al...or as people say your better half....and in this city, the blue side is definitely the better half..

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't agree more Ed. Who doesn't love a toffee girl?! Your right about the better halves, we definately are mate! Come on you blues! What a great weekend. Good results are like buses for everton. We wait and wait and they all come at once! FA cup, here we come! Exciting times to be a blue :D

really random player but why don't we try getting Ronaldinho ?

Warren

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Said it before Ed and feel it coming again

Cuckoo cuckoo {Ed025's Note - i dont think he is a realistic target mate ..for a start, his wages would be too much..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want an over the hill has been who is never in the papers for his abilities anymore and would command 150k a week {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

And he is old and s**t

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha, you clearly don't have a clue what you're on about. Ronaldinho still tears apart the Brazilian league week in, week out, and as for the wages, he hasn't been payed for 6 months, I'm sure we could sort something out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I clearly do have a clue, he would want 150k per week to play in our league and that is a fact, what do you think, that he would come over here for 40k a week, get real fella. He is over the hill too, different kettle of fish playing in the cold against tough defenders, its not like prancing around the Brazil league in the lovely sun. {Ed001's Note - the Brazilian league is not all hot, they have much higher extremes of temperature over there and lots more snow in some areas! Why do people think Brazil is all Rio and Copacabana beaches???}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey 001 its a lot hotter than here ye red nose, where's our couch potato Ed25 anyway, is he sick again or at DFS couch testing as usual {Ed001's Note - not all of it isn't. They have much bigger variance in temperatures, some of it is bitterly cold during the winter, much colder than we get here and they do have to play footie there. 025 is at work in DFS today, he was worn out from yesterday, at home he has to go upstairs to the loo, rather than just using his catheter. His missus likes to be the only bag in his life! And I am so so dead if she ever sees that!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

May have more snow in some areas but they don't play football in those areas, been there, bought the T shirt so trust me Ed I know, it is hot hot hot, the women are hot hot hot too {Ed001's Note - they do play footie in the cold areas, in the winter the temperature gets bitterly cold.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cmon Ed01 do i have to get proof that they have a better climate than us, ok then clippet from the Net:

There are several climates.
Equatorial, Semi-Arid, Tropical, Highland Tropical, Subtropical and Subtropical Highland.
With regard to temperatures, the Northern region of Brazil has a warm climate with average annual temperatures ranging between 24 ° and 26 ° C in most of the year. In mountainous areas annual averages are below 24 ° C and along the lower and middle Amazon averages exceed 26 ° C

Northeast Region - Northeast Brazil is very hot with an annual average temperature range from 20° to 28° C. Areas located above 200m and in the eastern coastal temperatures range from 24 to 26° C. The annual averages below 20° C are found in higher areas of the Chapada Diamantina and Borborema. The city of Teresina is the one with the highest temperature during the whole year (around 38°C - to 45°C degrees), not so humid and no wind at all. There is even a fun situation on this city - they have a street with an open-air conditioner system! People walk around so they can refresh a little. There is also sprinklers all around the city to try to cool it down. Other areas are pretty dry too with high temperatures.

South Region - The south is a little differentiated from the rest of the country - it has a temperate climate, very humid (because of vast vegetation), hot during summer and quite cold in winter (not as cold as Europe or US in the winter but pretty cold compared to the rest of the country). Regarding the temperatures, winter is cold with a hot summer. There are a couple of cities that even get some snow. The average annual temperature is between 14 ° and 22 ° C in places above 1,100 m, about 10 ° C.

So Ed they may even dip to 10oC sometimes, 50f how do they manage, some areas even get a drizzle of snow, like I said Ed trust me I was over there for 12 months working and it is much better weather than us {Ed001's Note - you mean you really believe that it only drops to ten degrees celsius on a mountain? You even said yourself, 'Regarding the temperatures, winter is cold with a hot summer.' Isn't that just what I said?}

Agree0 Disagree0

At Everton you have to work hard a concept Ronaldinho wouldn't understand

i think when howard finishes with us (hopefully not soon) we shouldd buy hennesy from wolves, or we should buy him next window and loan him to wolves for the season, what do you say ed and fellow blues, dan {Ed025's Note - i think he is over-hyped dan...he is in the spotlight because of how bad wolves defence is!, he is also prone to the odd howler, in my opinion there is better out there than him mate..

Called that one right ed shocking

I'm not liking the look of Drenthe so far, he's always trying top take too many players on and losing the ball too easily.

Thoughts?

Gods Doctor {Ed025's Note - he does need to adjust...but he is young, and new to the premier league, so give him a bit of time and im sure he will prove his worth..

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Drenthe wil play on the right wen landon goes home 4 sure, moyes wil get the best out of him,my only worry at the moment is i can see spurs cumin in 4 moyes if the tax dodger goes to manage england, true blue, efc 4 life

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Drenthe could be a great player, but just needs a little more confidence. He needs just a few more games to build his confidence and he could be a really good player in the prem.

Ed, is there any chance that Pienaar would be sold back to us after his loan spell. The look on his face says that he wants to be with us badly. And what about the Big Strac. He has to be signed. This bloke is as infectious as the bird flu. Watching him the last couple of games he is the man who sparks us up. I could not care what skill you have IE Torres, if you are all heart you are a better player full stop. Can these two blokes be signed as well as Royston and as a long shot Donovan. I know what the next question will be?, where is all the money coming from!
Mad Aussie Everton Fan. {Ed025's Note - the simple answer is YES ... they are all available, royston will cost nothing, as he is a free agent, straq will cost about 2 million i believe, and peanuts about 3 million, but if harry goes to england , the new manager might want him back!, there is no chance of landon staying...and for me, he is going to be the biggest loss..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I think there's something going on in the background with Pienarr, Moyes let Saha go on a free when he had 6 months left on his contract. I don't think that was just to get the loan deal done?

Agree0 Disagree0

Has far as i am aware saha had 18months on his contract and we do have the right to buy for the same price we sold him for witch is 2.5mil. And the reason is we gave saha to get off his wages to givethem to peanuts,
