Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

11 Jun 2012 23:42:38
There is lots of conspiracy and conjecture touted around but I'd be surprised we would sell Fellaini or Baines! Especially for a low amount when Hazard was brought for over £30M Fellaini is at least worth that as he is proven in the premiership!
I believe we won't sell anyone and are probably being smart pretending there is a lack of funds so we aren't held to ransom over our transfer targets! Well I hope it's the case!

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Money has been set aside to try tie up the Pienaar deal. Moyes was looking to use additional funds to sign Jay Rogidguez but he chose Southampton as he refused to wait until the summer for us to have the cash. Motes will now turn his attentions to another striker partner jelly man. Chelsea will bid for Fellaini but let's hope he stays.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Powerful imagination to say the least it was a suprise to get jelovic and gibson thats the why we do business now there will be no surprise if we only do business if some one is solled i dont now how any one can be so positive about us in the transfer market with no evidence of even a bid

If Baines and Fellaini would go i would say this is a good team to stay top 7 and possibly get europe.

Howard
Clynne Heitinga Jagielka Sissoko
Quaresma/Donovan Mouthino Gibson Pienaar
Mandvukic Jelavic

Possibly Manuel Fernandes if we couldnt get Moutinho which we probably couldnt

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Maybe gourcuff

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll never understand how some guys can suddenly link us with Mandzunkic. Ok he scored 2 goals with croatia, but i think it is completely stupid to link us with a player after seeing him playing only once.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not linked him with us, Just saying thats a team we can buy!

Agree0 Disagree0

With Fellaini saying that if the oppertunity arises he will go (although that could be media twisting his words as it was a solo interview, not done under club advisor supervision) why don't we go for Yann M'Vila if Arsenal don't get him? He's young and he must know how much he'll improve as a player at Everton. Plus, he's practically Fellaini but French.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

And he'd probably cost a few mil less, which we could put towards other transfers

Agree0 Disagree0

What about sell Fellaini for 30 mill, get Gago 6m Fernandes Free Nzonzi 4m then Clyne Free Pienaar 5m Rodallega Free Johnson 10m.Use the 5 left over to cover signing on fees an increase in wages?? Rob Walker

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want Gago? He's on 50k a week and he is nothing special

Agree0 Disagree0

70 appearances for Boca juniors,90 for Real Madrid,30 for Roma and 40 an counting for Argentina.26 yrs of age and available for 5-6 million sounds special enough for me.Rob Walker

Will everyone calm down! Fellaini has not said he wants to go! He has basically said if a club come in for him and we accept the offer then he will go! If not he is happy at everton! Wish people will stop putting 2+2 together and coming up with 5!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Well if he does go, 2+2 will have to officially be changed to 5. Fellainis departure could not only affect our midfield.... It could change mathematics as we know it!

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Wizard, if he goes, it will be because the club wanted to sell him. That's what he said: He'll go only if he have to.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jun 2012 20:13:15
why is everyone talking like Felli has said he wants to go? If you read it correctly he clearly states he is happy at Everton, and wont cause a fuss if we reject a bid from a big club. He is just being honest by saying he would be happy to move to a club with European football, like most players would. We have no need to worry, IF Fellaini does go, it will be for big money!
Toffeepidge

Believable3 Unbelievable0

The quote that bothers me is, "If it comes, I take".
Sounds like he's saying come and get me. Yes, It will be for big money, but will we see any of that money? I guess we'll see what happens but it doesn't look good to me. If we keep building players up to be sold we will never make any progress. We will be the cause of our own downfall.

If fellaini wants to play for an ambitious club. does that mean were not ambitious then. if you want to go then go. we can easily replace you with the money we would get.
when baines was talking he said he was flattered but said he loved this club. i didnt hear fellaini saying that.

Andy

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Fellaini said he was happy at Everton.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini said he is happy at everton.

Agree0 Disagree0

No we're not ambitious, and in fact i think we're the most unambitious club in the Prem with the currant board we have.

11 Jun 2012 20:16:20
Can't believe some of the crap on here today, call yourselves Evertonians more like fickle yids with Baines goin felli goin moyes goin! Every transfer window Moysey says if there's any news he'll tell us and the club do when it's firm, you all know he never talks about other clubs players only the press with their mischief that you all swallow !

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Werve got jagelka felini baines making statements about leaving in one way or another how can you expect fans not react in someway it was arsenal being unsettled last year no us arsenal were weakened dont want it to happen here

If fellaini is starting to talk rubbish get him out and get replacements in before pre season. No player is bigger than the club.

Gerrard turns his back on the French goal shot :(

Believable0 Unbelievable3

I'm starting to think gerrard may be englands main problem (he'll probably score now) - he's useless - only reason we scored from his free kick was cos he had 2 tries at it - the first time was 20 yards from nearest england player

Agree0 Disagree0

Your a deadset person mate, im a blue and always will be but u sir must be blind gerrad is clearly one of englands best players and that ball was perfect, and what a finish by the ex evertonian

the only reason why england didnt win was cas jags and baines was not out there :P

Agree0 Disagree0

Gerrard was one of, if not the best player on the pitch for us, don't bring club football into internationals, it has nothing to do with it

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with that comment, club football and international football are too completely different things. Don't mix them together.

Bobcat

Agree0 Disagree0

I never mentioned Liverpool - I just said Gerrard is a main part of England's problem - England play a really bad 'style' of football - and usually it's the centre mid playmaker who determines how a team plays to a large extent - Gerrard is just mediocre - he doesn't 'do' anything that stands out - just simple passes - and loses the ball etc

England are hopeless - watch how we play compared to other decent teams - we can hardly hold on to the ball for more than a couple of passes a lot of the time - whereas most of the continental teams have players who seem comfortable on the ball and can retain possession in tight spaces - and play neat quick passes - we're 30 years out of date.

We've either got to copy the German method - or go for the Spanish style - I don't know what 'style' England have - none at all really - but it's rubbish and doesn't work - we won't win another tournament EVER if we stick to this 'method'

Agree0 Disagree0

He tried to thread apass alot and was un sucessful every time not the player of old but we dont have that type of player for england that i now

"If I have got to go, I will go. If not, I repeat, I am at Everton," Fellaini said.

"I am ambitious; I want to play in the Champions League or in the Europa League.

"Last season we finished seventh with Everton, and we were not able to qualify for Europe, which was a shame.

"If an ambitious club comes in for me? Why not, just to gain experience but I'm on vacation right now, I do not give [speculation] too much attention.

"Every year they say I'll be transferred to the left or right but I'm still at Everton.

"If it comes, I take, if it does not come, I stay at Everton, where I am happy, and where I still have a four-year contract.

"Everything goes fast in football. You can be transferred tomorrow, as you can be in one or two years."

This is what he said and as much as I wanted him to stay, if he dosent want to play for the shirt then we should sell him for 28 million +

Everton will sack Moyes and bring in guardiola or mourinho...sheikh mansour will sell city and buy everton...we will then sign messi for 150 m, falcao 30m, xavi 70m, iniesta 80m, cristiano ronaldo for 100m, aguero 50m and pique for 40m...we'll win the prem and the cl next season....

I just watched a clip of liverpool in the 80s...the things that stuff does to you...let's just say you see things you'd never think you'd see....

Just want to say, IF Baines or Fellaini or anyone else for that matter do go this summer then so be it! Players come and players go but Everton Football Club always remains.
I for one trust Moyes and if one of our key players leave then Moyes will replace that key player with a more than capable player to take his place, he has proved this time and again when we lost Rooney he replaced him with Cahill, Pienaar and Arteta, when we lost Lescott he replaced him with Distin and Heitinga.
Just to point out i would obviously rather keep Baines or Fellaini but if they do go, so what? I'm very confident Moyes will replace them both.

EFC 1878 THE CITIES FIRST NO ONE CAN EVER CHANGE THAT.

Sad, sad news about Gordon West. He was our goalie when I first started watching football & I used to love seeing him turn defence into attack with his huge throws from the penalty box. One of our all time greats & he was, apparently, a total gent & all round nice guy too.
Thanks for some great memories, Westie. RIP.

Toffee Tezza

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Same here Tezza, the first Everton goalie I watched. I always felt reassured because he had such a big presence, and he could throw the ball so far. When you are young simple things like that have a great impact. I never met him but I am glad that those that did have only good things to say about him.RIP Gordon.
Bluewal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know about you, Bluewal, but I feel a bit sorry for the younger fans these days. You & I grew up in a time when footie had an innocent charm that's missing today in these money mad times. The relationship we, & the players, had with "them over the park" was different too. Remember Westie blowing kisses to the Kopites 'cos they used to call him "Mae West"! There was one time when one ran onto the pitch & gave him a handbag. Westie just took it, put it over his shoulder, & walked around the penalty box! He'd probably get booked today! Maybe it's just us getting older, but I'm glad we had those great days to remember.

Why Jags isn't being picked before Garry Cahill is beyond me... Jags has had such a good season. And I don't think its fair that because Cahill plays for a champions league side he gets picked over better players. Getit together Woy!!

Harry Redknapp to stay at tottenham (he likes to have some control over which players he buys and plays!) Moyes to stay at Everton ( he like to have total control of which players he buys and plays!) and whoever goes into the Chelsea hotseat won't get much control over anything and will be sacked by the end of the season. Redknapps not stupid, Moyes is certainly not, and whoever joins Chelsea's a very brave man. It's a cr*p job which has been proven over the past few years. I 100% know this wont be Harry Rednapp or David Moyes so don't believe everything you read! Abramovich'll be lucky to get Steve Mclaren the way he controls HIS club. Moyes is going Nowhere and that's the best news we can hear this summer. Long live DMs reign as manager of the best team in Merseyside!

Landon Donovan- Twitter

"US National Team, LA Galaxy and Everton soccer player. Proud American, Angelino, & Evertonian"

(what the?)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Nothing to get excited about i don't think

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not that keen on this Donovan situation - where he just plays for us for 2 months - it means we're not fixing that problem spot - right wing - just so he can slot in for his fun 2 months.
I reall ylike him as a player and person - but he's got to see this is good for him and not for us - we need a proper full season right winger - be great if it was donovan - but if it has to be someone elsewe'll have to forget donovan unfortunately

I think he has to force the move and comit to us

I will guarantee one thing. When Jelavic has a blinder of a season, the usual crap will come out The Big Red Nose is an admirer. The only reason Man U have ever been good is because they poach the best from everywhere not because he is a good manager. Every year our best players are linked with them. Whereas Moyes Takes blokes like Pienaar,Baines, Arteta, Cahill, Lescott and even Gibson who are really no names and turns them into stars.
