Hi ed what's this Sam Byram like who we've been linked is he any good and got the potential to take over the reins from seamus and are we actually trying to sign him? We need a wingback badly even though tyias has been good he only doesn't suit being a wingback but a good right back thanks.

{Ed025's Note - i like byram eddy, hes only young but been doing very well for leeds and is held in high regard by people in the know mate..

Confident player who likes getting forward and isn't scared to have a shot. Solid in defence too. Leeds have been playing him in a lot of different positions due to injuries in the team, and he hasn't let them down. In fact he played left mid the other week and scored twice. He would be serious competition for Seamus.

Hi guys. It's been a while.

Hoping to get tickets for Newcastle, and want take my son for his first time. I normally go a bit higher to get a better view while I'm alone or with the wife. eg: Main stand 2.

I can get tickets to Main stand 2 GG or Family Enc 4, row B. (for my price range)

My son' 8yrs but small for his age as he takes after his mum.

What I'm after is your thoughts.
Can we see the other side of the pitch from the family enclosure? Which is my worry.

Dont go on first few rows of fam enclosure if you want to see other half of pitch, made that mistake with my lad once, front row, had to watch the tv screen everytime the ball went over other half, felt way more colder too in front row, avoided since.

Thanks Murf,

I have a drunken memory of the Paddock being the same. Long while ago.

Im in the top balcony which has great veiw but may not be ideal for your son. I remember my first game at 9 years of age sitting in the upper bullens, must have enjoyed it as I can still remember the match and latchfords 30th against chelsea. 6-0 let's hope he enjoys it as much. main stand has good veiws but watch out for those posts.

Thanks guys. I plumped for the main stand. Too worried about the curve of the pitch for the family enclosure.

ed 025 with grabban going for 7 mil u think we should ask for more for naismith.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - definitely bretto, if grabban is worth £7m then naisy is deffo an upgrade on him!...so £12m would not seem that steep mate, but it is getting silly when players like afobe and gray are going for £10m....the worlds gone mad..

11 Jan 2016 18:30:54
agobe got potential but 7 mil for grabban is lot if they got 7 for him we should get 10 for naismith.

Nice to see Lescott showing the same respect to his present fans as he did to ours.
What a nice fella he is! (not)

So it sounds like Howard's back in goal for the game against City.

Ill support any team Martinez puts out 100%, but surely when supporters, non-supporters, ex-players, pundits and journalists pick up on it, then it's time to re-think something.

I think it's made much worse by Martinez' comments trying to justify his selection: "Tim is part of the Everton badge; more interested in experience than form" if anyone can explain that one to me.

It'll be Martinez' downfall, and its a massive shame.

Martinez is backed 100% by the board, and appears that he is here for the long term as he is still buying young players to develop within the squad.
He was backed in the purchase of Rom when many questioned the price tag, well he will be worth double that going forward so already he has created a return on that investment as well as the development and value of Stones and Barkley.
We all have our opinions including pundits, ex players and fans and I am one that shares your opinion regarding Howard, however he will change when the right player becomes available I'm sure, until then let's hope Robles keeps putting in decent performances every time he gets the opportunity and keeps the pressure on.

Agree with all of that, Wakka.

It's just weird how a player so out of form can keep his place in the squad. We haven't lost with Robles in goal, and I'm definitely not saying we'll win every game with him in goal, but surely that deserves some reward. But Martinez picking favourites seems to be a big part of his management style (Kone, Barry last season)

Does anyone think Howard will push for a move in the Summer? He knows he's lost the faith of the supporters, so why would he choose to stay in a negative environment?

I think there is a good chance he wants to finish his career in the MLS.

I thought he finished his career 2 years ago. he is a liability who not only makes mistakes himself but due to the backline having no confidence in him they over play at times and make mistakes.
