Please help us if that was are first team today who only won 4-1 against sheffiled youth, or anyone think it was about 3 or 4 people who need fitness? like Lukaku, Mirallas, Coleman? (too soon), Gibson, Joel? also Alfret town beat them 14-0, 3 years ago, so as I said hope it was A LOT of are youth playing possible 8 or 9 youth players
It was their youth players as the 1st team are playing Notts County tonight.

We beat a Sheff Wed XI 4-1 and Lukaku & Mirallas played with Lukaku scoring 2 in a behind closed doors training match today

To add to my first rumour regarding Atsu to Everton, I can confirm the deal is not happening & Atsu will go out on loan elsewhere.

He was correct mate. That time deal was very close but suddenly stalled. Until this moment nobody confirm deal 100% going to happen.

He may end up being wrong, and was overconfident, but to his credit, everyone thought the deal was done and then it hit a snag. His sources were better than anyone else's.

Whilst admittedly it's not been a great pre season I think we have to remember that it was always going to be disjointed due to the World Cup players come back at different times and requiring more rest. It's also worth noting that this will be the same for a lot of the top teams in the league. I wouldn't at all surprised if we have a strange start to the league where the mid-lower end of the table teams do considerably better than expected due to being able to have a full uninterrupted pre-season. Worry not though Blues It will all sort itself out in the end big season ahead which personally I can't wait for. COYB!

You make a good point, but every single team above and around us last season, have had great pre-seasons. We've had the worst in the league.

Doom doom doom, god so many posters coming on here depressed and negative, ffs cheer up will you.
Look at it this way, if I would have told you 2 months ago that we would not only tie our prize assets on long term deals resulting in no one important being sold, shatter our record transfer to bring in Lukaku and also Barry on a permenant deals, oh yeh also bring in the beast Besic too, would you have been over the moon, yeh you friggin would so stop the moaning.
It's embarrassing, we look like the most miserable depressing fans in the league, Southampton fans are happier than us and they are in the middle of a fire sale.
Ignore the pre season results and fixtures, it means absolutely jack s##t
If you sre still not convinced that things are good, we have Kone to come, Gibbo back, Pienaar and the rest of the injured nearly there too.
If you are still not convinced, we have the best owner in Bill and last but never least we have Roberto Martinez steering our ship
things are good, lighten up and relax and be happy for what we have not what we want.

I'm peeved over preseason and we should have done better but I'm not worried about the season.
We have the best squad of players I think we have had possibly ever. I include all of the winning sides in that as well. I honestly can't pick a first 11 and that is something I have always been able to do.
New signings, european football and we are still going to be signing more players.
This season promises to be our best in the pl era so stay positive and dream a little.
