With jelavic gone and kone injured its just vellios and lukaku for the rest of the season. Surely there must be a striker coming in otherwise one injury and we have one in-expirienced striker to lead the line. If no one is brought in I think it would be insane.
What do you guys think?

Really liked Jelavic.if he goes to Hull I wish him all the best.hope he gets his shooting boots back on, but not against us.being the main striker with a run of games will do him the world of good.interesting to see who we have lined up.
He got a good run of games last season and couldn't deliver I'm thinking the new surroundings may give him a lift

Just had a chuckle reading the Manchester United site.One of their clueless persons is suggesting (i think he's being serious) that they should offer us Tom Cleverley on loan for the rest of the season in exchange for first refusal on Barkley!.Apparently he believes Ross will leave us after the world cup.Dream on mancs!

People may question me but I'm absolutely gutted Jela's going. There's certain players you come to love and for me, he was certainly one of them. No one could ever question his commitment to the club. I'll never forget his last gasp winner against Spurs and his goal against City. Wish him the best of luck at Hull.

Just had a good laugh on utds page, they are talking about Barkley like they have signed him, firstly he don't like moyes and secondly he ain't leaving. They are so deluded they actually don't realise the position they are in. They are in the position we were in at the end of the 80s, ageing team and no one joining of real quality. Hope they go the way we went.
PC I support United we ain't getting Barkley he won't move to united united would match evertons valuation and martinez won't sell

PC. I can't see Ross leaving in the window especially after the assurances from our manager. If he does go in the summer (and please God it doesn't happen) I think he will go to a club that can give him Champions League football and he is not going to get that at OT. They should concern themselves with who they are going to loose. I think Rooney will be off in the summer.
I don't see why he would move for champs league football at his age he should be hoping to get as much first team football as possible not joining Chelsea or man city and drifting in and out the starting line up

Don't know if Any1 has mentioned it but Connor Mcalaney was back on monday For his first proper training session since his injury. He is about a month away from being fully fit and I could see Robbie giving him a go. He looked decent when he came on against the arse He definitely deserves a chance.

he's a bit lightweight to play the lone striker role, so may be given the nod alongside a larger built striker or in behind the striker in the ross role, but believe this will be in the latter stages of the league or as a sub.
I reckon he'll go back to brentford for season when he's fit

we have a lack of numbers, in the event of injury, loss of form, or suspension, spartac have a player on big wages but not in the the side. Surly it would be in the interests of both clubs to come to a deal over MaCready's transfer in this window?

I don't know if I should use this or the contact form but it is just a simple question, I posted on the utd banter about them wanting martinez and I used the username TheBlueSchoolOfScience and that was my first account across the sites, I then tried logging in to this site with the same username and password but it said username doesn't exist I then tried signing up using the exact same username and password but it said username already exists? I then thought it was my computer so I just used a different account for this, I then tried using each of those accounts on the arsenal banter to say thank you and both said username already exists when I tried signing up using the same ones and both said username doesn't exist when I tried signing in so I used a difeerent account, snow and same thing happened on the newcastle banter, I would happily delete my newcastle, Manchester United and arsenal accounts as I do not need them and I have forgotten my password for 'cochise' on my computer but it is already logged in but on my phone I have created a new account, the one I am using, 'swan', I would be happy just using this one but the thing is I have seen christheredman and blubaru using the exact same usernames across different sites but I cannot for some reason, I have not created these accounts pretending to be other people I still leave the 'mike-ox long' at the end can someone tell me why I cannot use the same account across different sites yet other people can?
