Not good enough. Better Squad, better staff, same frustrating Everton.

It's since the Liverpool game, Watford were the better team for most of the game. Never mind a win against city and we will be back on track.

If we got a result in the derby, would the results/ performance been better v Newcastle and Watford?
I think it would, it was a mental blow and we need to learn from it and have a confidence to keep playing the way we know we can.

That was poor. Coleman, Walcott both very poor and just don't work together.
Thought Bernard was also below par .
Tosun is never going to be a Premier league player so think we need to cut out losses.
Think the Liverpool game has knocked us for 6 as 2 games that were "dead certs" have seen 4 points dropped.
Really not looking forward to Saturday now.

I do now see why Lookman doesn't get a game as again he was poor.

Using the Liverpool game as an excuse is putting your head in the sand Trev, the fact is we are no more than very average at best.

Think I must have been watching a different game, I thought Bernard put in a shift both in attack and chasing back, one of his better games, made the odd stray ball but I thought he played fine.

For me it went out of shape when we threw Lookman, Calvert Lewin and Tosun on.

Personally I would have put two of them on with Tom Davies supporting in midfield.

What we did learn is a couple of forwards are needed to take us to the next level and let Lookman, Tosun and Niasse find other clubs, none of the these will give us the goals on a regular basis.

WOW! Have to say we were lucky with the first goal, definitely offside. Mina could have been dismissed but thankfully he wasn't. Then for some reason we failed to capitalize on our dominance and that let Watford get at us and deservedly imo go ahead. Fantastic goal by Digne at the death because to be fair I thought we'd fluffed it. In the end we were lucky to get a draw. Phew!

What a difference a few months can make. Last year I dreaded watching the matches, dull, boring and completely uninspiring. Tonight, just the same as in the last 2 months I’m excited for the match. Win lose or draw I am confident that we will have a go against anyone and I can live with that happily.

Give silva and brand a few more windows to continue to bring in young hungry players and the move to the new stadium its an exciting time to be a blue.

We should win tonight but anything can happen in football but without doubt we are heading in the right direction. I don’t need a quick fix papering over the cracks. Build the club properly so we can sustain improvement. I am one happy blue.

Enjoy the match tonight everyone, hoping the old lady will be rocking.

I will say let’s see what happens when he can bring a centre forward in or two.

Poor performance tonight and let’s not forget three of the players Silva brought in, Richarlison, Digni and Gomes all had a big impact on tonight’s game.

This is not Silva team by a long way, he has brought in players and so far are doing a decent job.

So before writing Silva off, I would be a little more patient while he builds the team he wants and offloads our current strikers in the squad, Lookman, Tosun and Niasse and bring in two quality strikers.

embarrassing dark cloud, if you don't think we're a lot better under Marco you're not watching the games mate, every signing that's come in has showed their worth, fed up of impatient fans expecting us to be right in the top six all the time, lower your expectations its a project only just beginning for gods sake.

If you don’t agree that we are moving in the right direction under silva/ brand then I think we are seeing completely different things. It’s a game if opinions and your entitled to yours but to my eyes and the hard stats (shots per game, winning possession in opponents final third etc etc) it very clear.
