reporters in Iceland suggesting that gylfi's season is now over after the knee injury he picked up in the first half Saturday but played on, depending on scans if he does not need surgery could be 2-3 months out, if needing surgery could be 6-9 months on the sideline, gutting.

Yes just read that.
Good job we won yesterday then.
Walcott possibly out also.
Typical the Ev that. Baines and Coleman back and then those 2 out.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 12:17:18
been a terrible season for injuries this year Lance.

3.) 12 Mar 2018 15:37:16
I'll be devastated for him if he misses the World Cup.

31 Jan 2018 14:36:58
klaassen loan to Napoli looks off as Napoli hadn't realised he was cup tied for Europa league, wish we could forget we were in the Europa that easily!

wblue

1.) 31 Jan 2018 17:15:36
I find it amazing that a club would even make an enquiry about a player without checking illegibility first.

31 Jan 2018 10:52:50
Simon says on talk sport potentially only one in on loan (Mangala) and one out on loan (klaassen) happy with that?

wblue

1.) 31 Jan 2018 11:48:51
by simon I meant big simon apologies.

2.) 31 Jan 2018 12:27:26
Or big Sam even. Hahaha.

Everton tell west Ham that schneiderlin is not for sale : ( was fun whilst it lasted.

wblue

1.) 30 Jan 2018 12:30:51
Transfer window closes tomorrow and Schnids to start against Leicester, going to be a long last Day tomorrow, no left back in, cannot see the old lady rocking tomorrow night.

2.) 30 Jan 2018 13:13:35
I have said this before about Martina but now feel the need to add Scheiderlin into that comment. They must both have some agent and contract stipulation because for the life of me I just cannot see any other reason why they play week in week out.

3.) 30 Jan 2018 13:28:14
That's why you're not a football manager.

4.) 30 Jan 2018 14:23:50
Any football manager/ non football manager can see that he's been woeful for a good 6 monthes now pal :) )

5.) 30 Jan 2018 15:14:57
He has been poor this season without a doubt but, then again, not many in the squad have covered themselves in glory. Last season he was outstanding and proved he has the ability to play at this level. If we can get him back to last years form then I'd be happy to keep him but not taking him out of the firing line after losing form is doing neither the team nor the player any favours.

6.) 30 Jan 2018 20:30:55
MyTeamsBetterThanYours, rather caustic there aren't you. The reason I am not a Football Manager is because I chose a different career path. I also always maintain my comments are mine alone and my opinion alone. Have never thought or said I had better knowledge than those in charge. But thanks for your input.

7.) 30 Jan 2018 22:42:05
Martina has been decent at times, but the time he has been poor overshadows this. He played a part in the spell we did not concede much at all. But it is glaringly obvious he should not be in the first 11 even in any position and is a weak link. Plus we need a left footed player in there.

02 Jan 2018 16:50:36
latest online about tosun, is that the deal should still be agreed and completed and that he has been told by steve walsh to be ready for Friday incase called upon.

Echo saying that although brands starts next week he is already hands on with the manager search as he wanted a big part in the process, they understand that silva is still not the only candidate with Bournemouth boss eddie howe also being spoke about, opinions on this blues?

wblue

1.) 22 May 2018 11:05:04
Rather have Howe than Silva for me. I think this is shrewd move allowing brands to have a big say in who is the new manager. The last thing we want if more friction at the club. Not a fan of Silva his premiership record isn't great.

2.) 22 May 2018 11:10:02
it's hard to know what we want Silva is my first choice but I thought Koeman was the right man at the time so thatshows how much I know I will support whoever they appoint we have to trust them to make the right decision.

3.) 22 May 2018 12:44:40
will more than likely be shot down, but with brands looking like a very controlling figure I think Arteta would be great in a head coach role, would just need to be more vocal on the touchline whilst brands tidied everything else. it won't be him though.

4.) 22 May 2018 12:49:23
I think the biggest thing was to get a real DOF and now we work down so next is the right manager/ head coach
Is Silva or anyone else right. only time will tell I would’ve liked Emery but I am not against Silva I think it’s harsh to judge his premier league record as his hull side were rubbish but he did well and was doing well at Watford prior to our chase. I hear his tactics and coaching are what sets him apart
West Han baulked at the release fee for Rafa but 6 million doesn’t seem too bad for a proven premier league manager.
Arteta is still another option

Whoever comes in has a big job ahead!

5.) 22 May 2018 13:02:26
The two options you mentioned Southern are both no goers, both have said they want full control of transfer dealings, Brands appointment will rule both out of the running.

We seem to be moving in the right direction and hopefully will have the new manager in place soon.

Surely to god we cannot be worse than last season.

6.) 22 May 2018 17:04:25
I think the correct thing is that both don’t want players being sold from there squad if you listen to their points correctly
So my point stands that Brands is here to create a team not dismantle it.

PSV just announced on twitter that marcel brands has left them to join everton
official announcement from Everton inbound.

glorious words to read aren't they gang
'sam allardyce has left his role as manager' GET IN THERE
great statement by the new chief ex aswel btw saying 'sam came at a hard time for the club However, we have made the decision that, as part of our longer-term plan, we will be appointing a new manager this summer and will be commencing this process immediately'

wblue

1.) 16 May 2018 10:26:36
Yes it's made my day,

2.) 16 May 2018 10:29:43
Yes good news, but it's a start of more to go. 👌.

15 May 2018 12:24:38
Looks like he's finally gone thank the lord, looking more and more likely that silva is the man to step in, for the life of me have no idea why we aren't approaching emery or someone of that calibre though, sorry but silva just does not excite me one bit.

for all the people that are more than likely refreshing the club page waiting for him to be sacked, stop were a respectable club and won't sack him until after his meeting which is to believed later this week.

wblue

1.) 14 May 2018 16:01:59
Agree Wblue let's just wait and see what happens after the meeting, the rumours are not going to go away so we might as well sit back have a week off then when we hear something we can come back on here and get ready for next season.
P. s hopefully without Sam.

2.) 14 May 2018 18:32:00
I can't see him being sacked. If he goes it will be by mutual consent.
That way everyone is a winner.

pros and cons really mate, pros its only down the road and can easily go watch etc, but cons is that part of going out on loan clubs like to see their players mature away from home and make them into men by doing adult stuff ie living on their own and fending for themselves.

bill has been great for us, sure we havnt been where we would love to be, but as said above look where we could have been, he's took his time and invested a good part of his life trying to get us as high as possible and slowly looking like he's stepping away t make room for mr moshiri who he found and has confidence in that he can take us forward, deserves plaudits not posts like this.
