Just a quick question, the young players were excellent yesterday with Davies probably man of the match, going off his record, do you think that if Mourhino comes in, as everyone wants because he is a winner, that any of said youngsters will get a chance?

Mourinho isn't coming mate.
2.) 16 May 2016 13:40:56
A Murf ever see Shawshank Redemption the movie. Hope is a good thing. Even though the chances are probably something stupid like 15% of the arrival of the special one.

I do have hope that he is coming mate, its 1% so not likely.

If Jose comes then these kids will not get a look in unfortunatly.
5.) 16 May 2016 19:49:25
You don't no the kids won't get a chance look at his previous clubs all huge clubs with multi million pound stars you can't drop those type of stars he was managing for young kids.

I think the fact that he was in bits at half time in the FA cup semi final because he thought fans were booing him shows that he loves the club

And so it starts!

Has Jags left us, I know he is injured but he will come back, then we will have 2 32+ year old centre halves.

This is just it, why fans are so deluded sometimes.
Why do the club have to come out and say anything.
Martinez is the manager. All that matters is what they have said to Martinez and if that is you are the manager until the end of the season then nothing has changed and everyone gets on with it.
Until they say differently Martinez is in charge why should anyone assume otherwise, because its what some fans want.

You all point to Martinez and his conceding record, what you don't mention that we have scored more goals under him, which means we are playing more exciting football which I would much rather see.

Name any Everton player that has been consistent over the last few years, not 1 springs to mind!
So why pick on Barkley?

Or it means that the players are not good enough, are incapable of carrying out the managers instructions. Do not have the skill to do what the manager wants. Don't understand what he is asking them to do.
Maybe what we are currently seeing is the best that both managers can get out of the players currently at their disposal, and that is all the players are capable of giving and these players are not as good as everyone thinks.
I have never seen an Everton side with so little movement in front of the man with the ball. I suspect this is why Barkley dawdles on the ball and eventually loses it because when he looks forward to move the ball on the players in front of him are stationary. This then leads the fans getting frustrated with him.

I think Barkley slows the play up because the 3 men in front of him, Lukaku, Bolasie and whoever it is this week very rarely move, so when he looks up there is no one to pass to so he has to dwell on the ball, and then he gets closed down.
The ball is rarely played into space because if the ball doesn't go to Rom's feet he isn't going to move for it.
I have never known a team to be so poor off the ball.
Barry and Gana move but that is usually in our own half but when we get to the final third our attacking players just stop.

So we are still blaming managers, at any point is anyone going to admit that maybe the players are not up to it.
I find it incredible that people are still blaming the manager, this is now 2 that can't get the best out of the players so maybe the blame needs to be looked at elsewhere!

What a great question, I would be interested to see how people answer this as when I suggested last season that the players were as much to blame as the manager I got slated for it!
