just thinking how much do you think rooney is worth and do you think rom would stay if we signed rooney.

Just said to me nanna to rooneys coming home

She just gave a cheeky grin and started putting her lipstick on.

{Ed025's Note - love it liam..

2.) 11 Feb 2016 12:18:54
we haven't even saw Niasse play yet, and people talking about Rooney coming back! we should concentrate on the players we have first.

3.) 11 Feb 2016 12:28:39
Fair enough Paul imp but I'd love to see Rooney come back at some stage. Not only to play but everything else he would bring with him. Experience, knowledge and also as much as I'm not a fan of this kind of thing it would do our image and sponsorship potential good also.

Imagine Englands top scorer and legend Rooney returning to his boyhood team. Everyone would benefit in my eyes. I'm sure Rooney will move back to Liverpool whenever he retires. His kids weren't born in Liverpool for no reason.

4.) 11 Feb 2016 12:29:11
I mean his kids were born in Liverpool for a reason.

5.) 11 Feb 2016 12:43:02
Find it hard not to get wound up when I hear people wanting Rooney back why he's over rated past his best and getting worse every season. We'd have to pay him mega wages 2! Rooney turned his back on Everton a long time ago I for one will never support him again.

6.) 11 Feb 2016 12:57:56
Imho he'd have no problem taking a drop in wages IF he wanted to back to Everton. I'm sure he'd know that would go without saying.

It was to see him at the Everton game a while back with his son. Who supports Everton. Son doesn't support Utd he supports Everton.

As I said a lot comes with Rooney if returns. Not just his footballing skills. We could benefit financially if he returns.

7.) 11 Feb 2016 13:14:24
I agree with kingy why would or should we sign an ageing player who for the last 3 seasons has been on the decline. I don't get the sentiments behind why some fans want him back. We should be building a future not dragging up the past

8.) 11 Feb 2016 14:13:59
Simple, along with what I said above could do a job for one or two seasons.

Wealth of experience he would bring would be of great benefit to club, team and even the manager. He went through it all. Got praise from Ibrahimovic (sorry for spelling) Can't think of many that he praised.

Rooney is going to leave Utd soon enough. If he doesn't come to Everton you can bet there is plenty of other clubs who won't turn him down. They will be queuing up for his signature. All around the globe. Not only EPL.

America, China, Asia, Australia even South America. No doubt Rooney could probably go wherever he wanted. Anywhere on the planet I would imagine.

I'd consider us lucky if he came back to Everton. My gut is telling me he will. I know there is plenty of people who won't want that for numerous reasons. I get why some don't want him back.

For me I'd welcome him back with open arms.

9.) 11 Feb 2016 14:49:10
NBTB. Totally with you on this. On the point of players on the decline before they joined us.

Andy Grey
Gareth Barry
Peter Reid
Richard Gough
Nigel Martyn
Silvan Distan

Probably missed a few too.

If the deal was right I would allow this guy a second chance.

10.) 11 Feb 2016 16:29:05
Good point Toffee ace those players done rightly at Everton. Putting it mildly.

{Ed025's Note - i would like to think your right OTB, but only time will tell mate..

1.) 06 Feb 2016 18:41:03
Same thing happened last January but he reverted to his old system at the start of this season so I wouldn't bank on him learning **** all.

2.) 06 Feb 2016 18:41:37
ed025 got to admit that was a great performance today.

{Ed025's Note - brilliant mate..bloody brilliant..

pod do you think we should sell stones and do what ever we need to do to keep rom.

onetrueblue

1.) 06 Feb 2016 18:10:32
I don't think the two are linked. Rom will leave because he's ambitious and wants to win things not because of money. I don't really want to sell Stones but he does need benching and some solid defensive coaching to kick on again. His sale could generate much needed transfer funds for a couple of good signings if he doesn't want to stay here though.

2.) 06 Feb 2016 18:30:31
he wanted transfer pod and tells are fans to calm down sell him before his price comes down no one bigger than our club were strugling without aren't him aren't we sorry about spelling.

3.) 06 Feb 2016 18:34:59
if and when rom says he wants to go let him go aswell no one bigger than everton.

{Ed025's Note - the sentiment is correct OTB, but in reality who is going to replace him?

05 Feb 2016 10:06:09
