if you go on yaralmenkos or however you spell it on his wikipedia its saying current club Everton.make of it what you will.just something I've just been sent.

jimmyc

{Ed025's Note - anyone can change a wiki account jimmy, im afraid that means nothing mate, as much as i would like it to..

1.) 17 Aug 2015 12:23:51
that's why I said make of it what you will Ed.

{Ed025's Note - fair enough jimmy..

2.) 17 Aug 2015 12:34:11
Greg okeefe said we are interested in him.

3.) 17 Aug 2015 12:34:57
I know anyone can change wiki personally think that should not be able to happen I mean seriously what is the point in that website if anyone can change it, it should be a site where you want to find out about something or someone that is true facts

{Ed025's Note - i agree metz..

4.) 17 Aug 2015 15:16:22
Because it is a free site that does not charge, it's content is provided free by the public. Most t of the content is fairly accurate - you just have to be aware that it's not vetted by some kind of 'authority' - and who's to say what is 'the truth' anyway?

{Ed025's Note - good point latch..

5.) 17 Aug 2015 16:24:39
you've been watching too much X-files Latch!

Look I'm not the remotest bit arsed how much anyone is or not worth. Who gives a toss. Sick of hearing he's not worth this he's not worth that what's it got to do with anyone apart from the powers that be at Everton fc. If Koeman wants you take it as a complimen, t from the one of the best and a world record holder in football history. Simple as. We're going places and i,d advise anyone to come on in and enjoy the ride.

I think it's impossible to not judge a players worth on the transfer fee. Everything in life that is bought is judged on how much it costs so even if it's not you who is spending the money I think it's still hard not to have an opinion

If a striker cost 50 mill and scored 5 goals compared to a 2mill striker who also scored 5 goals would you not think one was better value for money?

Going back to the proposed new stadium on the dock, and the design debate. Would anyone take a design like the Bernebau stadium. Just looking at it while watching the champions league semi. The crowd are
close to the pitch like Goodison on the 3 sides of the ground i can see. What do any of you guys think?

jimmyc

1.) 03 May 2017 12:39:36
I know what you mean, Jimmy, but personally, I'd prefer one built more on the lines of The Juventus Stadium in Turin. A bit more compact but with the same closeness of the fans. It creates a really intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams, as borne out by Juve's record there. (I think it's nearly 30 straight wins! Although having Buffon, Bonuci, Chiellini, Dybala, Higuain and Mandzukic might help as well! )

If true as being reported we are supposedly looking at Belfodil whos gosl scoring record is nothing to write home about for 10.5 mill why not have a look ourselves at trying to get Berahino for the same price? Played in prem league, scored goals in the prem (although he's lost his way a bit) I would rather take a chance on him myself. At a different club and if he can get his form back would be an asset to any club.

jimmyc

1.) 11 Jan 2017 15:12:55
Don't want either of them tbh. My hope is that Belfodil is a Steve Walsh special like Mahrez, Kante and Gueye.

2.) 11 Jan 2017 15:14:13
Hope they do bid for berahino great player for that price

3.) 11 Jan 2017 16:14:10
Hey

. I would snap up Berahino for 10 million, attitude or not. in terms of Belfodil, if rumours are true, why don't we simply let SW do his job. I mean what do we know?

Mart

4.) 11 Jan 2017 18:06:21
Has anyone seen this Belfodil play? 9 in 19 may not be amazing but still pretty useful, and I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him play. Never heard of him until I saw that we were close to signing him on SSN. That said I hadn't heard of Niasse until I saw that we were close to signing him on SSN either, and we all know how well that went.

{Ed025's Note - i have to admit windsor that i had never heard of him, but if it does come to fruition then lets give this guy our support and treat him like we do all players at the club with respect and love..

5.) 11 Jan 2017 18:29:41
Agreed Ed025. That's why I'll reserve judgement because if he puts a shift in and shows desire then I'll absolutely back him.

{Ed025's Note - and thats fair windsor mate..

Funes Mori now spouting off saying he would be looking to move if he doesn't get more game time. Imo he's not good enough to get in the side ahead of Jags and Williams even Holgate. When he does play he's a liability in my eyes. You can't complain about not playing when there's three better defenders ahead of you. Get your head down work hard and prove you deserve a place in the team which at the moment he doesn't deserve a place for me. Not good enough.

jimmyc

1.) 07 Oct 2016 13:42:18
I don't think its as clear cut as you say, but he is definately 3rd choice behind Jags and Williams at best.

2.) 07 Oct 2016 15:07:14
My feeling on anyone spouting their mouth off has been put on here many times. They have an agent who deals with all of this and they should be showing more respect to the club and fans. If these players concentrated on getting in the team and playing well they wouldn't need to spout off in the papers.

I'll put him on the naughty list with Rom. He's been quiet so far but will give it a few more days before taking him off it.

3.) 07 Oct 2016 19:00:02
Putting to one side about the shooting his mouth off, do you think he's good enough to be in the team ahead of jags and Williams? I don't as i said earlier, and in my opinion he's not good enough full stop.

4.) 07 Oct 2016 20:49:43
Perhaps we should look at him as a reserve center forward/ target man? He has had his fair share of goals throughout his career and he has popped a few in for us. At this stage, who else have we got should Lukaku stumble?

5.) 08 Oct 2016 05:21:09
Took the words out of my mouth, I would certainly play the guy as a backup forward see how he goes.

6.) 08 Oct 2016 08:23:25
Wouldn't describe it as "shooting his mouth off". He's basically said that he needs to play regular first team football, at Everton or elsewhere, if he wants to stay in the Argentina national team. That's just a fact. I can understand his concern.

7.) 11 Oct 2016 13:03:01
We we start playing more games, he would be an integral part of the team. I for one hope he stays.

I can't fathom Barkley out Mowfee82. He needs a new challenge (allegedly) . As someone has already said "were having a party and he wants to leave when we're getting the ale out". Strange boy guided by an even stranger agent.

Not keen on Hart myself, while i think he is an upgrade on Robles and stek he's not a top class keeper. He reminds me a bit of Tim Howard safe enough but always liable to cock up more than a few times a season .

Wants a manager gets undermined it's time to walk. Unless youv'e got no back bone and your'e a yes man. I could see Koeman doing exactly that walking away if it where to happen.

Seen him playing for Anderlecht against the mancs, looked very good. Pace, a good engine, good feet and can pick out a pass, plus he's been banging them in. Looks a very good prodpect.

Apart from playing for the other crowd, he's crap, one good season at villa he's had since coming to the prem. As i mentioned previously people used to use the lazy tag to beat Rom with but this guy is a master of it.

Best moments for me.
1 lifting the FA cup after a 14yr wait for a trophy in 1984.
2.Bayern semi (never known an atmosphere like it)
3.either Kingys exocet in the 77 derby/ or ratters noggy creeping in at the kop end.
Worst.
1.Selling my hero Howard Kendal ( broke a young boys heart)
2.Frank bloody Lampard. running around the corner flag. ( If ever you wanted to murder someone)
3.Clive Thomas. Enough said, case closed.

I for one am happy Rooney is back home jelfy. OK he's not the player he was but imo he's a 100pc upgrade on the likes of Kone, Niasse and Mcgeady. Giroud i would love to see in an Everton line up i would take him all day long. What suprised me is how he wasn't a regular for Arsenal last season but still managed 16 goals.
