Hi Ed

Wanting to know whether there is still any interest in Jorgensen? There were plenty of rumours that Koeman was interested some weeks back, and it would seem to me that he would be an astute purchase; He's a skillful target man, who can also operate the left-wing if need be. Much younger than Giroud and bangs in a tonne of goals too. Not to mention, he would probably only cost around 20M. Also, if no interest remains in Jorgensen, any idea of what happened? Sorry for the ramble, and thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - I really can't help, sorry.}

Hi Ed,

I read some rumours a few months back that Everton were interested in Adarabioyo, Man City's promising young CB. I am just wondering whether you have heard anything more "concrete" of Everton's interest (if any) ? Would be keen also to get your thoughts on the player generally, because to be honest, I've seen bits of him here and there but not a lot.

Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City's Tosin Adarabioyo has yet to agree a new contract at Manchester City and will be available to leave in the summer. Spurs and Everton made enquiries about him in January but I am not aware of any interest since, I am not aware of any non-English sides offering a pre-contract. The issue surrounds him wanting playing time guarantees. I know nothing of teh player himself.}

Hi Ed,

Just wanting to know the status of contract negotiations with Barkley. How likely is it that he will re-sign?

Any info you can give would be much appreciated.

{Ed025's Note - ross and his advisers are playing the field at the moment grizzly, they are keeping their options open and waiting for offers from other clubs to use as a bargaining tool for a major wage hike, the rom situation could also be a factor because if he stays and gets a mega deal then ross,s guys will be banging on the door for their slice of the cake, myself i think he will stay because of his love for the club but thats just my view mate..

Early call but I'm banking on Bournemouth to surprise everyone and go down this year, Koeman then works his Dutch ties and signs up Nathan Ake next year to slot in at that left CB position we need right now. What do you think of my crystal ball Ed?

{Ed025's Note - i think a few are in danger grizzly and bournmouth are certainly in that mix along with stoke and my pick crystal palace mate..

Like many, I am very pleased with Everton's transfer window. Koeman has clearly accomplished his goal of strengthening our spine. But with that said, I am very concerned that we have not added a striker to replace Rom, and less significantly, a winger to replace Delboy. The squad looks great, but I just can't see there being enough firepower up front to get enough goals to challenge for the top six. If we want to party with the big boys, we need to go out and get one of Dolberg, Jorgensen, Dembele or Welbeck (couldn't care which one at this stage) for 20-30M, and go and get a winger/ support striker like the Walcott or Gray for around 25M. Ideally, it would be great to also grab a CB on loan, but for me, it's not as important. If we made those purchases abovementioned it would bring our net spend to about 100M, but if you really want to make up ground on the top 6 you have to be willing to spend that money, especially on goals. I get the feeling Koeman wouldn't disagree. What are your thoughts Ed? Am I being too harsh?

Not far off the mark grizzly but I think you may have to wait for the next couple of windows before we add another group of permanent signings. As for replacing Delboy I don't see why we sent him out on loan last season and already have Lennon, Bolassie, Lookman, Kev and DCL that play wide. We also have Rooney Sandro and Gylfi that can also do a job if needed. Would love any of the strikers mantioned but think we have probably done all our business on the permanent front wouldn't be surprised if we get a couple of loans in though, left sided defender and possible a CF.

Hi Eds,

Just wondering whether you're aware of any rumours floating about in regards to the sale/ loan of Oumar Niasse? Would be interested to get your thoughts on a likely transfer fee too, given the current market.

Thanks in advance.

{Ed025's Note - hull being relegated and marco silver leaving means his situation is up in the air again grizzly, one thing is for certain he has no future at goodison and i would doubt we would recoup the money we paid for him, but good luck to the guy and i hope he finds a club soon..

Can't believe we haven't gone all out for Kasper Dolberg. The kid is just ridiculous. Ed, please tell me there is a chance this one might happen last minute?

{Ed002's Note - He wants Real Madrid.}
