Lots of changes still yet to come, del boy, McCarthy, Gibson, kone, jags all got to go, January sales

dazza300674

1.) 15 Jan 2017 13:25:33
Hi Dazza agree with that mate, at last a manager with some bxxls, we have had to wait a long time for this, too many players not good enough, GuernseyBlue

2.) 15 Jan 2017 15:57:15
To be fair I'd keep McCarthy looked the Jimmy of old in the last 2 games

3.) 15 Jan 2017 16:39:12
Agreed Fanatic. Gana and Sch probably first choice CM. After that McCarthy is in line imho. Barry played very well today but is not long term at all. McCarthy could be.

4.) 15 Jan 2017 17:22:17
And You forgetting Tom Davies already NBTB

5.) 15 Jan 2017 18:43:27
Ha, of course not Dave. Talking about players that didn't even start today.

15 Jan 2017 12:39:53
Barry in, that's a mistake, man city will leave him standing. hope I'm wrong buit. ant see itt

dazza300674

1.) 15 Jan 2017 13:49:22
Barry has experience and a footballing brain. Yes his legs aren't what they used to be but he is still a good player.

2.) 15 Jan 2017 15:04:03
Hands up I'm glad I'm wrong

10 Jan 2017 11:10:30
8.5 million for belfodi

dazza300674

1.) 10 Jan 2017 11:20:08
Hope not from Eds comments previously

2.) 10 Jan 2017 11:27:59
His goals to games ain't great!
2009–2012 Lyon 10 (0)
2012. Bologna (loan) 8 (0)
2012–2013 Parma 33 (8)
2013–2014 Internazionale 8 (0)
2014 Livorno (loan) 17 (0)
2014–2015 Parma 23 (1)
2015–2016 Baniyas Club 23 (11)
2016– Standard Liege 14 (6)

3.) 10 Jan 2017 13:10:40
Why not take a chance with Berahino. Good age and proven goal scorer in the premier. Guy just lost his way a bit, and better than most being mentioned.

4.) 10 Jan 2017 14:03:21
Berahino at a price of 10-12 would be worth a try. The everton price would no doubt be about 20.

5.) 10 Jan 2017 14:40:49
Sky reported this morning that Stoke have bid and for a significantly lower value that the £20m bid by Spurs last year
And why are we continually being linked with Algerians? 🤔

6.) 10 Jan 2017 15:49:57
He's a proven goal scorer in the Prem, no brainier for me.

7.) 10 Jan 2017 18:30:33
About as proven as vardy one good season and that's it the lad has been unfit for a year sounds like a great signing to me keep Gibson company I guess

8.) 10 Jan 2017 22:15:27
Berahino has a terrible attitude. Don't want him anywhere near Everton.

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

03 Jan 2017 13:27:41
We offer 19million after wBA offered 18,just pay the 24 million and get him in now .

dazza300674

1.) 03 Jan 2017 14:13:18
£18m seems pretty fair to me, why throw money away when the player wants to come to us? There's a few clubs greedily eyeing up Moshiri's wallet, United are just playing the game same as us.

{Ed025's Note - united are considering offers from abroad as well stevo, a couple of the bigger sides want him on loan with a view to buy so its up to us now mate if we pay the fee..

2.) 03 Jan 2017 15:12:01
Ed do you nthink we should just pay the asking fee, then if he wants to come he will and if not, on to the next target. to much messing around when he could be in the squad ready to go after the fa cup game.

{Ed002's Note - I am not so sure it is that simple Dazza. A representative from Marseille was at West Ham as a guest of Manchester United yesterday - and they have been discussing Schneiderlin and the meeting was arranged prior to Everton speaking to Manchester United about the player. Everton made the approach on Saturday apparently and they made a bid (possibly on Sunday) that was slightly more than the bid of West Brom. Right now neither are of interest to Manchester United. Marseille want to take MS on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season rather than bundle up the cash and pay up front. At this time the details have not been proposed in writing but Marseille have an idea of what it might take to make something happen so it should not be discounted. Additionally there has been a tentative enquiry with his agent from Juventus - but I suspect we can put that to one side for now. A discussion about a loan to Inter Milan has also been held between the clubs - angain not to be discounted. For now I would expect Everton and West Brom to be thinking about a higher bid. Marseille will decide if they wish to put a package together this week. All of this could prompt Inter in to doing something. So we will have to wait and see.}

3.) 03 Jan 2017 15:41:29
We needs to pay the price and then it's up to Morgan to knock back other teams. If the media can be believed he wants to come to everton and is settled in the northwest. We do our part and meet the price and he does his and we should be right.

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work quite like that.}

4.) 03 Jan 2017 15:53:03
Eds if we're to offer the full amount upfrnt, in your opinion would man utd deal or is the preferred option to sell him abroad.

{Ed025's Note - im not really sure fanatic, marseille, juve, and milan are preparing a deal for him which involves a loan to buy package, united want the £25m they paid for him and as of now we have offered £19m, it could go any way at this stage mate..

5.) 03 Jan 2017 16:08:55
Then we need to pay the asking price and see eds. the balls in Uniteds court then.

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

6.) 03 Jan 2017 19:05:10
I would just pay the amount, Jose is still smarting from the tough stance on Stones, if we want him just pay it, there's not a chance Jose will take a penny less.

{Ed002's Note - It really doesn't work like that.}

7.) 03 Jan 2017 20:44:12
It depends on whether the powers that be at EFC believe Schneiderlin's worth the "alleged" £25m Utd want for him, and also where the lad wants to go. A game of bluff and counter bluff at the moment.

31 Aug 2016 20:25:28
Our marquee signing is keeping lukaku . panic buying now, niasse moment? sissoko 20 million over priced? Valencia just as well give niasse until christmas.

dazza300674

1.) 31 Aug 2016 20:33:23
Depends which Sissoko turns up on a Saturday. Either way 30m is overpriced but I guess that's just a reflection of where the market is for prem teams. Powerful line up on the cards with rom, Sissoko, bolasie, gueye Williams. Not going to get outmuscled.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 20:37:34
Current market prices are mad. Luiz for £32m? Stones for £47.5 .
We get Sissoko motivated then is a great buy. Who cares about the price.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 20:38:47
Are you taking the p*** sissoko is a top player and you have to put price tag to one side Bournemouth paid £15m for Jordan ibre Bristol city sold average championship player for £15m and were about to buy a French international who can dominate midfield when he feels like it, great buy.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 20:42:05
Lukaku, sissoko, bolaisie, Barkley, del boy will be interesting, one week win 5-0,next week lose, all these players that needs a on day but haves more off days.

{Ed025's Note - you really are so negative dazza..how about...star of euro 16 teams up with other great players in exciting new look everton team..

5.) 31 Aug 2016 20:48:34
Robbo05, Barkley is a big lump too. Big, quick, athletic powerful team, other teams will fear coming to Goodison Park again! Happy days.

6.) 31 Aug 2016 20:49:41
Ed025 - you don't get it, in champ manager the players I buy play quality every game and we win the league. We have the 8th richest majority share holder in the league so therefore we have to buy everyone and win the league.
Seriously Ed get with times.

7.) 31 Aug 2016 20:53:38
Negative maybe, but sissoko was terrible last season, valencia west ham reject. sorry but it is panic buying.

8.) 31 Aug 2016 20:49:41

{Ed025's Note - sorry svenny...i will try and keep up in future mate.. :)

9.) 31 Aug 2016 20:57:13
Agree truebluemetez if we get the sissoko from the euros then we have an excellent player which I think we will get because ronnie won't stand for sissoko not preforming he always demands the best and and for his players to put a shift in if they don't he will tell them exactly what he is thinking.

10.) 31 Aug 2016 21:00:19
We can't get rid of one player who can't score so we sign another who can't score who we won't be able to get rid of and a player we don't need for 30 million not worth 5 I wouldn't play him in a flat side what a joke Kooman is and our so called director of football is useless.

11.) 31 Aug 2016 21:07:17
I remember Everton fans slating the board when Valencia signed for West Ham and not us. Get a grip! Imagine Sissoko and Gana in our midfield. I like the sound of that.

12.) 31 Aug 2016 21:09:10
Newcastle played him out on the wing, hence he was crap. France played him as his natural position of box to box midfielder and he was good.

He is going to be gayes partner imo in the long run and can also double as a attack midfielder.

30 is high I agree, but if we get the euro sissiko then that's a snip, him and Gaye will be beasts in that midfield.

13.) 31 Aug 2016 21:20:01
Swinners I agree, lot of sides will fear the athleticism of our team. Sissoko good player and will certainly strengthen the squad. Not doubting his quality, just needs the right attitude. 30m is a lot of money (as is 15m for Ibe) but it's all relative and that's what you have to pay to get good players these days. I've wanted us to splash the cash so can't grumble if we pull it off, whatever the price. If his heads right he'll be quality for us.

14.) 31 Aug 2016 21:23:03
We have paid the going rate get yer head around the fee and get behind the lad he was the one in French team in the euros who looked like the worldy not Pogba so just give the lad a chance.

15.) 31 Aug 2016 21:24:40
Koeman will turn him into a toure and we will be laughing.

16.) 31 Aug 2016 21:31:35
The question is: Is Sissoko better than McCarthy. The answer is yes. So forget about the money. Is Enner Valencia better than nobody at all as back up? Yes. That'll do. Maybe we should have got better but I'm not too upset.

17.) 31 Aug 2016 21:32:12
And look at what pog just gone for rich 🤔

Like ed said let's hold out on the jury.

18.) 31 Aug 2016 21:40:23
Forget about the fee it is irrelevant as none of us are itk of how football finances work. Just look at what the player brings to us and what we need. Gareth Barry as great as he has been is probably in his last season so Sissoko is his long term replacement. Enner Valencia is a stop gap to add cover for the season. Remember we are a work in progrest and our squad is much improved with the ins.

Schneiderlin, depay, and maybe two interesting bargain buys delph and bojan

dazza300674

1.) 08 Jan 2017 19:04:35
I like Delph, if we are looking for a no nonsense hard working midfielder with the odd Goal in him he's the man, plus we need depth in the squad and with sniderline good midfield with gueye at the African nations, very good indeed

2.) 08 Jan 2017 19:17:41
What would Delph add? Bojan I totally would agree is worth a cheeky bid.

3.) 08 Jan 2017 22:31:59
Delph is better than Barclay and might give him a wake up call
