3 our of the next 4 games away, don’t get carried away with this 7th place talk. We’re rubbish away, However if SA plays attacking footballs we’ll have a chance. Try parking the bus we’re dead in the water. Are you listening SAM?

actually, our fixtures away aren't that difficult, watford have just come back off a defeat, i think we have good chances to get at least a draw there, burnley have really stagnated for some reason and i can actually see us getting a win there, brighton at home should be a win, and stoke again are really struggling, especially considering that paul lambert has typically had a poor home record with the clubs he's managed because of his counter attacking style of football (i think it was at villa where i got this stat, my memory might be wrong and quite frankly i'm too lazy to look it up, if i'm wrong then please point it out) all in all i'd say the next few games are quite good for us.

2.) 11 Feb 2018 14:27:21
just for fun i'll be predicting our results for the fixtures after that
we should lose against man city, i think we might nick something from liverpool (not sure if its a win or not) , i think swansea will beat us, i can't really see us beating newcastle at home because i just don't think sam is good enough of a manager to break down a defence set up by rafa benetiz even with a squad with inferior talent such as newcastle, huddersfield, ehh, they'll probably be fighting for their lives so i'll say we lose there, southampton should already be relegated by then so i think we'll win at home against them and a draw at west ham.

3.) 11 Feb 2018 16:10:15
Some good forecasts Evertonthings.

Sadly I have to disagree with the Liverpool one I think they will beat us, I do think it will be a very tight game and would be happy if we drew. 0 - 0 or 0 - 1 against Huddersfield.

I think a lot of results will be dependant on how we fare against Watford and Burnley. If we win those two games it will alter the rest of the season for us and how we play, the most important thing is we keep clean sheets in open play.

Strong squad again, hopefully we don’t sit back and have a go. If we get an early goal, Stoke will go in to a panic and the crowd may not be quite as up for it. Although I must say the Stoke supporters are fantastic at raising the roof.

This team could actually win this one. It’s almost like the old days, hopefully not too old for some legs.

chalkie

1.) 10 Mar 2018 14:38:19
Must win game otherwise the anti B.S. voices are going to go ape.

2.) 10 Mar 2018 16:56:57
Chalkie it's like the old days because 3 of the back 4 were playing over 10 years ago for us and are still the best in their positions. Moyes got them in for a total spend of less than £10 million. Neither Martinez, Koeman nor Allergy have so far unearthed replacements!

3.) 10 Mar 2018 17:11:20
Won 2-0 Myteam. But in the Summer he still has to go or even once we are mathematically safe. If Mr Moshri is serious about taking this Club forward then Mr Alardyce and his ilk are not and have proved they are not the people to do it.

4.) 10 Mar 2018 17:24:47
Thats what happens SA when you play a left back at left back and not play a really poor right back at left back. With todays results were just about safe, so please mr mosihri can you now dispose of SA please . Want him out of our great club . coyb.

5.) 10 Mar 2018 17:38:11
Never stated that B.S. must stay. he has to go. My point was simply questioning how big the fall out would have been if we lost.
Great performance (it's all relative)
2 tricky fixtures out of 8 and we have a chance of getting on the mix for 7th again. Shame Burn and Leic won. Let's hope Watford get nothing.

6.) 10 Mar 2018 19:14:54
Degsyp please give the Moyes talk a rest.

7.) 10 Mar 2018 20:22:46
Sorry NBTB. it's not really about Moyes. it's about how bad we have been since him with our defensive signings. Chalkie mentioned that it was a great improvement albeit with old legs and I was trying to point out that the reason they are old legs is because they have been with us a long time and so far any attempt to sign replacements has been futile. They are still the best we have. We WILL need to replace 3 of them asap. And if Keane does not gain some consistency (he was good today but has been at fault for many goals this season) he will also possibly need replacing. Sorry if the Moyes mention touched a nerve. I think we all know how long the 3 of Baines, Seamus and Jags have been with us. Only Distin has been replaced. by Williams! Need I say more?

8.) 10 Mar 2018 22:33:50
I agree on talking about Moyes, but it’s a valid point in terms of us not having signed decent replacements across the back line. Jags, Baines and Coleman have been starters for years and nobody has come close to displacing any of them. Coleman is still a class act but Jags and Baines are coming to the end and all we did was bring in Martina and Mangala.

9.) 10 Mar 2018 22:36:50
I want B.S. out. But after the last game. Let's not make ourselves look anymore of a plonker than we already do. Keep it classy.

10.) 11 Mar 2018 08:36:20
Thanks for seeing what I was saying Windsor. I would add that we also brought Stones in and have since sold for megabucks to a slightly successful side. Yes he makes mistakes, but he is certainly better than any others we brought in since. We also had the guy at Arsenal to look at but he chose to go back to Germany first before ending up at Arsenal. We have brought a bunch of great kids in. but that's all they are at the mo. Kids. We need 25 year olds with experience. Jags came from a relegated Sheffield Utd. Coleman from Irish League and Baines from relegated Wigan. Look at Robinson at Liverpool and Harry McGuire to see what was available in recent years. There are other class acts around in the Championship and teams being relegated. We just need to get in there first like we did 10 years ago.

11.) 12 Mar 2018 09:33:43
totally agree degsy, for the 3 million touted would certainly go for jonny evans in the summer a must for me.

Crystal Palace showing spirit and fight, and the support is fantastic. Everton take note.

1.) 05 Mar 2018 22:03:21
lost 3-2. With spirit and fight you need tactics, motivation and good training. Roy Hodgson for me is a very knowledgeable man, his future maybe sooner than later is destined to either retire gracefully or become someone's DoF perhaps!

2.) 05 Mar 2018 22:59:43
Maybe him and Sam could both sign in to the same old people’s home. Talk tactics of the seventies, and how to defend a lead.

3.) 06 Mar 2018 09:46:55
Or maybe having a club that allows you to spend £75 mill on a center forward, £85 mill on a midfielder and an average of probably £40 mill on every player in the squad over a few seasons might just give you a few special players that should be expected wo win games? Justt a thought.

4.) 06 Mar 2018 11:30:45
Only reason they lost that game was because they sat back and panicked when 1st goal went in, just like us. United are nothing special despite how much there team cost. Mourinho for all his faults was on the touch line driving his team on. Hodgson was having his cocoa, and was half asleep.

03 Mar 2018 16:56:48
Get Arteta in for the remainder of the season so he can check out the squad. The last thing we want is trying to replace a manager in the summer with the World Cup on.

Ambitious line up, maybe Sam has finally listened to the critics. COYB.

If losing the ball is the reason for loaning Lookman out, he would need to get rid of the bulk of the team with what we have witnessed this season.
I agree with you, we need to keep him as an impact player coming off the bench, and we definitely still need a LB. Garbutt looked ok the other night, however he was playing against children, literally.

I agree, he’s another risk with no guarantee he will adapt to premiership football. Think we need him plus a second experienced forward, even a journeyman.

Well the good news is Williams is unavailable for 2 games.
Shame it’s not a lifetime ban.

We won’t be mid table, we’ll be bottom half. As I said
2 weeks back, “winnable games for the rest of the season bar 2, however look at the away record before feeling too comfortable”.

It will only take a moment of class to win this comfortably, unfortunately I can’t see us coming up with it.
This is painful.

Absolutely Aussie, from the second that team was announced yesterday, everyone to a man could see this had disaster written all over it.
He needs to take full responsibility for yesterday and that humiliation.
I know what he’s doing, the same as always, selecting the games he thinks he can pick up points to keep us safe, that’s not what we’re about SAM.
