everton linked with shane long. could be a decent back up sighning infact he is a carbon copy of naisy, good in the air for a short guy,a hard worker and a grafter and a total pest for defenders.

1.) 20 Jan 2016 19:07:37
rather bring in someone else.

2.) 20 Jan 2016 19:42:53
Long is okay but not very prolific goal scorer would of preferred us to go Charlie Austin 4 mil is steal for a striker who scored 18 goals in premier league but we to slow to act again.

3.) 20 Jan 2016 19:51:28
thing is Austin meant to be on 100k week.

4.) 20 Jan 2016 19:52:13
No mate he is so injury prone, and everygame I've seen of him, he just wouldn't have fitted in, in fact I thought he was Cr4p.

19 Jan 2016 20:22:01
rumours about betrand traore from chelsea 20yrs of age any one heard of him.

1.) 19 Jan 2016 21:02:54
Promising young player had good loan spell last year in Dutch league I believe, my Chelsea mates rate him but he won't get game time with Costa and co!

2.) 19 Jan 2016 23:54:13
We heard the exact same description of Atsu, that worked out well.

3.) 20 Jan 2016 13:33:25
He's going to Marseille. FOX.

4.) 20 Jan 2016 16:41:36
There's no point is us taking any young player on loan if we're unlikely to give him sufficient game-time.

19 Jan 2016 09:27:03
blues reportadly in for chelsea player bertrand traore 20yrs of age his wages are 40k a week, dont know much about him any blues no anything of him.

1.) 19 Jan 2016 14:45:32
he is very highly rated by chelsea has been on bench few times. he plays st or rm looks good but can only see them loaning to us for first refusal on stones.

17 Jan 2016 15:51:31
just a thought but do you think the benching of del boy in last few games could be a ploy to put off barca from going back in for him.

{Ed025's Note - no mate..

1.) 17 Jan 2016 17:19:52
Hi Ed's any truth Byram was having a medical today?

{Ed025's Note - apparently he did speke..

1.) 24 Jan 2016 16:20:17
I'd happily take £40m.

23 Jan 2016 19:26:33
no extra time for norwich"s eqaliser or the other lots champions league winner hmmm.

23 Jan 2016 10:39:05
need a winn 2day badley,we have lost 5 the same as city who are poosible champuions but have won 6 only 1 more than sunderland who have a real chance of being relagated its crazy, next seaon the boro could be in the prem and they always spend big when they go up plus they have a decent ground so they could well be another club we are playing catch up with to go the likes of lester, westham, stoke, palace, spurs, plus if we lose any of are best players then next season robbie might get his wish relagation but at least we played great football.

1.) 23 Jan 2016 11:57:03
We don't play till 2mrw kid.

2.) 23 Jan 2016 12:02:22
Dont think we'll get any points today. Might do when we play tomorrow though! Kick off's at 13.30, in case you're wondering.

3.) 23 Jan 2016 12:31:35
hahaha cheers blue liam and hugo I had a bit too much sauce last night good job I avin set off yet to get game.

4.) 23 Jan 2016 13:28:19
goaaaallll naisy yeeessss.

21 Jan 2016 18:09:19
oh well that's it then lads may aswell forget any transfer rumours seeing as the only 2 we have been linked with won't happen byrem gone to west ham {not botherd anyway} and lenko not going anywhere {wud not have come to us anway} see you all in the summer when more non transfers will happen.

1.) 21 Jan 2016 20:09:28
I'd say it will be a busy summer for us. a lot of players out of contract then. Maybe that's why they are holding out. Would do very well to hold onto all the players we have.

As long as we don't sell any of our best players like Stones, Barkley and Lukaku it doesn't bother me too much if we don't sign anyone else.

2.) 21 Jan 2016 20:43:31
Don't forget all the forthcoming takeover announcements.

3.) 21 Jan 2016 21:06:17
i"m with you nbtb if we don't buy its no big deal are squad is big enough I think but if we can hang on to the 3 you named then that will do me,as for lenko I am not to bothered about him because if mirrales can get his head right it will be like a new player as he hasint played hardly all season if robbie drops him again for saturday then that might be the last straw for kevin. it will for me anyway. we all know that robbie loves giving players a rest even if they don't want it and then there's besic he may decide to rest him aswell and what will that do to mo" thinking. rest play, rest play, rest play,it must sapp the players belief.

4.) 21 Jan 2016 22:06:44
Finally thank you bluepaul. Thank god there's others who aren't fixated on bloody Yarmolenko.

Also agree with all the other stuff you say bluepaul.

5.) 21 Jan 2016 22:18:51
Think we have done ok and there is still plenty of time yet, Byram gone to the hammers not the end of the world not tried and tested in our league yet and could be his downfall also reports of Yarmelenko wanting to go to a bigger club is there such a thing? Got the feeling he would wind the players up anyway. Credit where it's due RM can spot a good player and sure something is in place and once he sorts his game management out quids in. He will get it right the one day the Spanish git.

6.) 21 Jan 2016 22:53:21
this is my best eleven.

defenders: robles, coleman, stones, jags, baines

midfeild: mirraless, besic, barry, delboy

forwards: ross just behind rom

subs: howard, lennon, cleverly, mcarthy, galloway, rodriguz, mori.

that's a good starting eleven and good bench and would give anyone a game. i have included rodriguz because I have heard good reports on him so let's see what he can do he is not a kid so what's to lose then if it don't work put robrto"s love child kone back in.

7.) 21 Jan 2016 22:54:11
I love your last few lines on RM soldier blue. Kinda my thinking also.

8.) 22 Jan 2016 09:45:05
You won't be surprised NBTB to see that I do not agree with soldier Blues last lines. Moyes also spotted and brought through good young talent the difference being, we consistently finished top 8, this bloke talks a good game and now that is being found out for the waffle it is, he is now blaming anything and everyone as long as it is not him. We had/ have potentially one of the best defensive units in the Premiership yet through intransigence, ignorance, stubbornness or just plain inability he has managed to turn them into a level of impotency normally reserved for men of much greater age.

9.) 22 Jan 2016 11:14:30
Like that side BluePaul, pity about Funes Mori but maybe if Roberto wanted to play with a back 3.

10.) 22 Jan 2016 13:39:05
So what do you disagree with? that when he spotted Del boy he wasn't a talent or Mo Besic or fought tooth and nail to land Lakaku. And as I stated when he sorts his game management out we will all be happy.

21 Jan 2016 18:02:54
they published the richest club list this week, maybe they should publish the richest tight arse board member granchester would win it hands down.

1.) 21 Jan 2016 21:21:56
Supposed to have said won't put a penny into club while bills still there, dnt know how true it is like

2.) 21 Jan 2016 22:14:05
whats all that about has bill done somthing to upset him.

3.) 22 Jan 2016 00:01:39
Baron Grantchester is not a member of the club's board of directors. The board comprises Bill Kenwright, Jon Woods, Robert Earl and Robert Elstone. The first three own around 68% of the shares between them. The remaining 32% are held by various other shareholders. I'm not sure how many shares - if any - are still held by Baron Grantchester, but, as he's not on the board, I don't think he has any obligation to invest.

4.) 22 Jan 2016 07:56:39
Im not sure about how many shares he got sid, just heard same thing bout it off a few older blues (50s-60s) .

{Ed001's Note - Grantchester is definitely one of the major shareholders, along with Earl and Elstone. Those 3 have the biggest amounts of shares, unless he has been selling them within the last few months, but I have not heard anything to suggest there have been any sold.}

5.) 22 Jan 2016 09:13:23
The Liverpool Echo reported the following at the end of last year when the American takeover was mooted.

"Everton chairman Bill Kenwright is currently the club’s main shareholder, owning just over a quarter of the Blues with 9,044 shares.
That 26% is closely followed by US-based businessman Robert Earl, who owns his equity in the club through BCR Sports in the British Virgin Islands.
The former Hard Rock cafe president, and Planet Hollywood founder, bought his shares from Paul Gregg and his family in 2006, and now has 8,146 of them, equivalent to 23%.
Next comes boyhood fan and computer entertainment boss Jon Woods, with 6,622 shares, or 19%, who is said to live 40 minutes from Goodison Park.
The businessman has a personal legacy with the Blues, with one of his ancestors loaning Everton £1,000 in 1892 to build the original stadium stand.
Lord Grantchester, the grandson of Sir John Moores, has 2,773 shares (8.5%) while Arthur Abercromby, a former director and investor in True Blue Holdings - who took the majority shareholding of Everton in 2000 when Kenwright’s consortium took over from predecessor Peter Johnson - owns 1,935 shares (5.5%) .
Former Everton chairman Sir Philip Carter, who died, aged 87, in April, had owned 714 shares, around two per cent, with Clifford Finch, Johnson’s commercial director, registered with 250, just 0.6%.
Keith Tamlin, Nigel Holland, Jimmy Mulville have 120, 115 and 115 shares respectively. The remaining 4,600 are held by minor shareholders.
Many of those own between one and five.
True Blue Holdings was dissolved in 2004 after Everton’s plans to move from Goodison to King’s Dock ended.
The current market value of an Everton share is £1,350, with people able to buy one by either approaching a stockbroking company or through a member of the club itself. "

6.) 22 Jan 2016 09:01:00
Ed001: are you sure that Elstone is one of the major shareholders?

{Ed001's Note - no, my mistake I meant the 3 he mentioned are the major shareholders, except for Elstone, with Grantchester being the other major shareholder. Sorry I should have checked back, some of the typing didn't come through and I never read it back to remove errors.}

av they not just sacked a manager because they are crap? as for offers from bigger clubs name them because I can't and as to being a great fit for the club what a load of crap it smacks to me of lack of ambition. oh ye I would av their keeper aswell but only because it won't be tim howard in goal. you say they are a VERY GOOD TEAM. A HIGH LEVEL OF TECH ABILITY. COMFORTABLE ON THE BALL HAHAHA WERE ARE THEY IN THE LEAGUE.
