Ok so 7th gone but been a very positive end of season and icing would be to add Spurs to the top 6 teams we have beaten and very possible with no Kane or Son for them. So we all know we are crying out for a striker and doubt many will agree but i'd like us to bring Edouard from Celtic. I know he is in a poorer league but the man can finish and given how many chances we create i believe he could be prolific. Van Dyk came from scottish football and as much as it pains me he isn't too bad. Anyway, season almost over and let's pray we continue where we have left off. Zouma a must sign and Gomes too please.

Seriously wtf was that first half? I WAS a Sam supporter but that was one of the worst most embarrassing performances I've ever seen. As i soon as i saw the team sheet i knew what did happen, would happen. Call knee jerk if you want but arsenal did for koeman and arsenal should do for Sam. This man will not take us forward, go get Silva while he is free.

Keown spot on "Its a collective. Ok, the players didn't perform but the responsibility lay with the manager. Allardyce got the system wrong. He gave the players a platform to go and get embarrassed. "

2.) 03 Feb 2018 19:40:31
What has Sam Allardyce learned from today? NOTHING.

3.) 03 Feb 2018 19:46:44
But then he was again came out saying it was all the players’ fault. He took no responsibility for getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar and claiming it was everyone else’s fault, so we shouldn’t be surprised.

I thought he’d at least make us hard to beat when he was appointed, but he’s turned us from relegation fodder I to a mid table team and back into relegation fodder in about 12 weeks at a cost of over £50m.

4.) 03 Feb 2018 20:00:37
I can’t believe Allardyce just completely shirked any responsibility for that performance and threw the players under the bus. Yes they were in most part rubbish but anyone can see Allardyce also got it horribly wrong himself today. His character really is questionable.

“We looked at Swansea and tried to do what they did”. You don’t think perhaps Arsenal also looked at what went wrong against Swansea and worked on those problems? Allardyce really has been overtaken by footballing development and has become a managerial dinosaur.

5.) 03 Feb 2018 20:39:04
How about next time look at our players, our strengths and our weaknesses and compare them to the specific game and then come up with a plan tailored to us rather than just trying to copy what someone else did.

That is what an innovative forward thinking manager would do. That is what a good manager would do in order to get the best from the players he has available to him no matter how good or bad they are.

6.) 04 Feb 2018 05:29:11
Cannot argue what that buds spot on there mate.

Plenty of Vardy rumours and i'd take him although he is not a target man. His pace in behind is blistering. However i would take a look at the teams really struggling as i'm sure there's 2 target men i think would realise their own teams won't be doing anything this season. Opinions divided but an out and out target man is Benteke . Say what you want but not many better in the air as we have found out to our cost in the past. Second choice at a poor team and although not strictly a target man, i think Antonio at west ham could be a very shrewd move. Anyway let's start with a bit of revenge at the bridge today. NSNO.

Vardy very poor against Man utd yesterday, if we are going to spend money on a striker i for one would prefer it to be a target man in the mould of giroud, someone to bring the rest of guys into the game in the last third.

Just sitting outside my sun soaked apartment in fornells menorca reading that we're readying a 40 mill bid for varying well that would cap of a perfect week for me.

3.) 27 Aug 2017 08:38:31
Haha vardy not varying.

4.) 27 Aug 2017 08:54:33
I know he's been mentioned before, what about a punt on Deeney? Experience, big, powerful good in the air can hold the ball up and would get around 10 goals plus a season in a good side. Thoughts lads and lasses.

5.) 27 Aug 2017 10:23:40
Deeney is awful. For me, Benteke but I think he would cost a lot, around 40 mill mark.

Looking at the fixture list, 3 points vital yesterday so all good so far. Sig and number 9 before man city would be ideal. Just watched Man U batter a very poor looking west ham and think we will do a lot better against them than the hammers did. My personal choice would be Benteke, really can't see why he would want to stay at palace after the start they've had. So everyone has now played and we are.7th! Our fave position! Really do believe with a few more additions we will improve on last year. For me, best money spent so far? Pickford and keane . COYB.

7th is where I predict we will finish (especially after that unconvincing performance) unless as you say we get sig and a striker.

2.) 13 Aug 2017 21:05:23
Will get sig, striker, winger and c/ back, finish in top 4, plus win a cup.

3.) 14 Aug 2017 20:40:11
We've only played one game.

It can only get better is the only positive. Just keep telling myself its still pre season and players need to gel. Crying out for some creativity so the quicker gylfi arrives the better. As much as i like gueye and schneiderlin they are much the same and there will be games where we need both but we need a little magician on the pitch. Also, give me giroud or benteke before the stoke game. Credit tonight goes to pickford, keane and davies. Main thing is we are through and at the moment that's all that counts.

Perhaps this is one reason for the hold up with the sig deal. Swansea want chadli from the baggies to replace sig and maybe barry replacing chadli was the trigger for the sig deal to go through. Fingers crossed .

I was thinking the same regarding Davies, glimpses of the potential we saw 2 seasons ago. Perhaps Carlo's influence rubbing off on him, Keane as well for that matter. Really am seeing what the effects of having a truly world class manager. Let him bring in a few of his own new faces and who knows.

What a load of crap that was. just don't get it, is it psychological why we just can't perform at Anfield? Been playing so well lately but that was shocking. Apart from Gueye who the hell turned up today? That was Ross's worst performance for a while, back to his old head down and run down a blind alley. As for Rom, I love him but where were you today? I know with Coleman, Bolasie and Morgan we would have been a lot better but injuries are a part of football. Ruined the whole weekend. Get Valencia and Lookman on from the start against Man U please, have a go at least.

Agree with some but would not want berahinho, Brahimi yes. As for playmaker, I know it's out there but let's bid £30 MIL for Payet, even though it's very unlikely, it sends a message out that we mean business. Most exciting times on and off the pitch for a while.
In Koeman, Walsh and Moshiri we trust.

Was thinking exactly the same konehead. Whilst I still think Lennon is a half decent player, I do believe he will play a very small part this season if any at all especially if Ghezzal arrives. Personally I'd like to see the back of Mcgeady, kone, possibly Lennon and Oviedo as well. The latter two I actually think are decent players. Ins? Hart, Lamina Kone, Ghezzal and a top striker. I really believe we will be challenging top 6 this season and top 4 next season. Never been so optimistic. NSNO IRKWT.

That's what being an Evertonian feels like summed up in one game. Hopes sky high going into game, 2 nil up and you start looking at the table to see where we stand. Defend and you think we will be alright as long as we don't concede one. We hang on, concede and you just know the second is coming, You feel down, dejected and worry you might lose. From nowhere your on top of the world again with 95 minutes gone, the other team shattered after their great come back and surely surely that's the 3 points. no no no, this is Everton.98 minutes and you concede and if ever a draw feels like a defeat this is it. I like Bournemouth and Eddie Howe but I love Everton and this is why we don't win anything! seriously annoyed.
