Allardyce for 100 grand a week how desperate are we please please please nooooo not this gum chewing fraud.

billydean

{Ed025's Note - im hoping not as well billy but it is looking very likely mate..

1.) 07 Nov 2017 08:01:29
Please don't just shoot me down but if Sunday had gone the wrong way and we were sitting here after another loss would we take ANYONE to get us out of it?

2.) 07 Nov 2017 08:57:52
let's just wait and see according to sky sources (I would love to know who these sky sources are) big Sam will be appointed until the end of the season if he can't get a big name manager in now I don't want big Sam but I suppose I could put up with him until the summer as I have total faith in what moshiri is looking to do to our great club.

{Ed025's Note - the appointment of craig shakespeare as assistant will give us all a major lift as well i expect BLUEy...not

3.) 07 Nov 2017 09:32:38
not sure why everyone is so down on Allardyce. he is proven at organising a defence, something we are in major need of. I will happily take him guaranteeing safety and then we can re-group and appoint a big name in the summer. Perfect scenario really. Plus he will guarantee we turn up in a derby which would make a nice change after a decade or more of poor performances and failure. I know this shouldn't be the height of our expectations but unfortunately this season is already a write-off!

4.) 07 Nov 2017 10:27:18
Proven at organising a defence but as it stands, you can't polish a turd can you.

5.) 07 Nov 2017 11:00:06
Totally agree Rlchris1982. Shakey30 we had the 6th best defense last season and added 2 players along with some youth players. Why can't we be doing better than we are now defensively? I know some are not getting any younger but it can't of gone downhill so much in such a small space of time. With right management they will improve massively.

{Ed025's Note - missing coleman is huge NBTB, and dare i say it mori mate..

6.) 07 Nov 2017 12:58:33
Yes Ed025 we missing Coleman. Can't definitively say we are missing Mori. But do you not think Pickford makes up some of the ground lost with Coleman. The defense still can't have fallen so much after losing Coleman and gaining Pickford surely?

That's not even mentioning Kenny and Martina who have also come into defense. We should be no worse than last season even after losing Coleman. He can't make that big of a difference on his own imho.

{Ed025's Note - i have to say pickford has me worried at the moment mate, some very rash decisions lately but im giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment..

Any news on Morgan's injury.

billydean

1.) 21 Mar 2017 12:39:24
Minor calf injury mate will be monitored leading upto the derby.

2.) 22 Mar 2017 05:09:30
Cheers John hope he makes the Derby really like him as a player.

25 Jan 2017 22:22:02
Did anyone listen to Alan Smith is he a closet red

billydean

24 Jul 2015 08:52:17
ed025 have you heard any whispers about who we have inquired or who we have been offered please give us a bit of hope as it seems to have gone quiet on the transfer front I check all the media first thing hoping today is the day we're going to sign somebody to get us really excited, ah well there's always tomorrow COYB

billydean

{Ed025's Note - all quiet here as well dixie, and unless stones gets sold i have a feeling it may stay quiet mate..

Terrible performance our players just aren't good enough and our record against the top 5 in the last 20 years is embarrassing can't blame this on the manager players need to stand up and be counted rooney was off the pace today.

billydean

1.) 13 Jan 2018 19:45:49
Yep that still just the one win in last 44 away games to a top six team. Shocking stat that needs changing ASAP.

10 Jan 2018 07:49:14
Mustard is back training must give everyone a lift but he'll have a fight for his shirt Kenny has been outstanding.

billydean

1.) 10 Jan 2018 09:49:49
Coleman is best full back in premier league when fully fit. Could he or Kenny switch to LB?

{Ed025's Note - its been done before mac so why not?..

2.) 10 Jan 2018 10:53:19
Better option than Van Aanholt that’s for sure.

{Ed025's Note - deffo mac..

3.) 10 Jan 2018 11:43:41
I think Kenny would be best bet for LB before Coleman. I still think Cuco is gaining confidence little by little. Would still like to see an attacking full back like Tierney or Bertrand.

4.) 10 Jan 2018 12:29:32
Debit confidence has nothing to do with people just walking past you, he has been better but he is dreadfully so could really get no worse.

08 Jan 2018 14:28:55
Would anyone take a punt on sturridge hell of a finisher when fit.

billydean

1.) 08 Jan 2018 14:37:18
Never fit though, as in, he might play 5-6 games a season for us.

2.) 08 Jan 2018 15:17:03
Saha was the same for United but came to us and was brilliant.

3.) 08 Jan 2018 15:48:41
Saha? Yeah he was good but he wasn't fit nearly enough.

4.) 08 Jan 2018 16:15:21
Sturridge? we carn't afford the medical bills? he is on loan from the Royal Hospital?

5.) 08 Jan 2018 16:16:18
Saha also wasn’t as injury prone as Sturridge, Sturridge has also lost his pace that made him dangerous, watching him try and run now is like watching an elephant run through mud. He’s also incredibly lazy, weak and refuses to go for headers, he needs easy chances given to him to score, he won’t get that here.

6.) 08 Jan 2018 19:22:53
Yeah. But do you want him Swan? 🤣.

7.) 08 Jan 2018 21:32:40
Don’t think he’s a Sam type of player.

8.) 08 Jan 2018 23:08:32
On his day, a hell of a player! The last couple of seasons though that has been very infrequent. I'd caveat that though by saying with the quality of Liverpools attack, if you're not on top form every week you'll quickly lose your place and struggle to get it back so he may well be just as good now and unable to show it.

05 Jan 2018 22:00:59
Lookman needs more playing time he's a firecracker. I'm just so fed up losing to this lot it's just boring now how many games is that now 145.

billydean

{Ed0333's Note - lookman does indeed look like a player.

1.) 05 Jan 2018 22:11:55
If Lookman plays left-wing, we need a proper left-back behinfd him.

2.) 05 Jan 2018 22:25:49
Iv been saying this for ages he’s young and hungry he needs games but fans get on his back like they do with most of the young lads ie (Barkley) which is going to knock there confidence hopefully Big Sam has faith and plays him because he will be the £50 mil player we need. give him a go he has the tools let him use them. We were unlucky tonight, the lads had a go that’s all we wanted to show a bit of fight hopefully this Tosun can get us the goals we need and get us WINNING again COYB Everton aren’t we.

3.) 06 Jan 2018 00:27:54
Never seen the fans get on DCL back or Kenny or Davies maybe the fans just get on the backs of the players who don't perform ie Barkley. We had 3 players that won the u20 World Cup with England on the pitch today in DCL, Lookman and Kenny and yet the way the BBC commentators went on about a certain over priced Dutchman was embarrassing, we have a bright future with these lads, game time will come for Lookman once he gets disciplined in the defensive side of his game and hopefully he is aware of this. We lost one 'prospect' today but in these 3 and add to that Dowell and Pickford and Holgate who again today was brilliant, we have a bright future ahead. If these players were at a different club the press would be all over them as the future of English football, yet no mention of how Everton as a club are nurturing home grown talent and giving them the vital experience needed in the top flight, how many other clubs do this?

01 Jan 2018 23:03:48
Getting beat is a real kick in the gonads the worst possible way from a sporting point of view to start the new year we need a few more players with better judgment and cutting edge.

billydean

1.) 02 Jan 2018 01:49:43
Oh for a Kanchelskis to play on the right of a front three - with Bolasie on the left and a genuine experienced centre-forward (Tosun? ) in th middle of them.

{Ed0333's Note - I know your struggling for quality players Bobby but you do realize Kanchelskis is 48 and hasn’t had a pre season. I’m not sure he’s the answer mate.

2.) 02 Jan 2018 09:23:34
Ed0333: he’d probably still run faster, have more shots, and score more goals than some in our squad - even at his age! LOL.

3.) 04 Jan 2018 08:49:42
Yes Ed, but think of the experience he brings to the team. Admittedly he is a bit slow now. Why the other day I was in the queue for my pension when a little old lady with walking sticks went past him no bother. but what a first touch!

Ed025 I'm with you mate the chairman has put this club back on the road to the big time he could have sold up to the highest bidder but he held out for someone who would take care of his club and he's done it while being unwell and did it with dignity and character, the everton way remember he mortgaged his house for our club he's a champion in my book.

billydean

{Ed025's Note - mine too billy..

Or tommy maybe we are all just a bunch of dreamers living in the very distant past we have the worst record home and away against the top 5 we've won one trophy in 32 odd years all the top scorers bag loads of goals against us rush shearer ferdinand lampard Kane maybe we are just like a West ham or west brom there to make up the numbers or maybe we are the glass is half full kind of people who remember how good we were who demand this club be in finals and at the top of the league who spend their hard earned cash every week hoping the glory years will return and who have every right to moan at an underperforming team and manager very long rant over.
