For those who thought we would get players like Isco, James even Sissoko get real. We are not a big draw compared to the likes of Chelsea, Spurs etc etc.
Spurs proper played us over Sissoko. They waited late so we couldn't trump them and Sissoko didn't even want to come anyway, hence why he didn't answer his phone. Spurs have CL football and let's be honest are miles ahead of us.
We would have to pay way over the odds wages wise to entice players to Everton as we are not seen as a big club, more like a last resort when going for the better players. For those who think we will just go out in January and get them think again, it won't happen.

its like koeman says its going to take 2 years to build r profile back up to were it was in the past unfortunately we have been overtaken by clubs with wealthy owners but we have one now itll not be too long before top players r lining up to join us Rome wasnt built in a day.

God ToffeeApple your negativity is unbelievable! Firstly in response to your post. We are not as big a draw as Chelsea and Spurs as you mention. We are still a draw for the majority of players. Its the top end players we are trying to attract. That's the hardest thing for Everton at the moment. We are competing with the elite for elite players. That's a good thing in my opinion.
If or when we get into Europe I have no doubt we will attract more top quality players. Chelsea are an exception to the rule as they are expected to get into Europe this year and can offer players what a lot want - London. Last season for Chelsea was very unusual with everything that went on with Mourinho etc. I think everyone including prospective players realise this.
Spurs did not play us imho. Sissoko played us. Spurs are not miles ahead of us. If we get CL this season (not saying its going to happen, but hypotheticaly) what would the difference in us and Spurs? Pretty much nothing apart from they are located in London.
Everton changed dramatically since May. New owner, new manager and new DoF. Owner who seems to be trying his best. New stadium on the way and looks to be pushing signing players. It will take patience to get the RIGHT players. No point signing players that won't improve us. Some people seem to think there is a confer belt of players available. There is very limited amount of players who fit what Everton are looking for. So what do people expect. Everton to sign players for no reason at all?
That takes me to Koeman. Top player in his day and top manager. Improving things at the club to no end. We are much better already. Look at the players we brought in this summer. We are undoubtedly have a better squad.
DoF Walsh was head hunted from the premiere league champions! What more do you expect? Many credit with him with much to do with Leicester's success. Look at his signing of Gana. Absolutely brilliant.
So we've got new owner, new manager, new DoF. All a major improvement on our last set up. Add to this a new stadium on the way and a stronger squad which will continue to get stronger.
What do people expect? Us to have the premiership won in August? We are totally improving. I for one am delighted. I just hope the good work that has been done over the last 4-5 months continues. If it does, good times are ahead. I'd guarantee it!

I said on here after 5 games for us not to get carried away and to wait until about 15 games in to judge. Well here we are, and I was right. We are just as average under Koeman than under Martinez.

Why do you think Moshiri will deliver good times? Compared to other owners he isn't even that wealthy, he is 11th on the owners list in the Premiership. Plus Everton aren't a big attraction if you are looking at spending big money. We would have to pay way over the odds to get those players. Get real.

No Bill. I'm just not deluded like some of you. Koeman is not a top manager and our squad is weak compared to teams that the likes of you think we will be finishing above. You can say what you like William, I couldn't care what you post. Keep dreaming.

Talk of the title, top 4 and Koeman being the Messiah was ludicrous after 5 games. Now let's see where we are in a few months, midtable is my guess and about right for the players we have.
