Haha funny.

2.) 03 Feb 2019 15:26:23
Probably hiding in the same place with 9 others :-)

3.) 03 Feb 2019 18:09:08
Apparently he's scared of black cats.

Anyone heard any more about Delgado or Barrios? I suspect one of them might be the deadline day deal. I mention them because there are rumours that besic may be out the door next.

Conte is now being quoted at 20-1. The same price as Arteta.
Silva remains odds on.
I think Conte would be perfect for us. It's no secret he is out of favour with the Chelsea board.

It worries me that Moyes has moved to 3rd favourite. Please no. I like Conte and would take him, but wonder if he could cope with our somewhat mediocre players compared to what he has been used to. I would take most of those been touted for the job apart from Moyes. Looks like this week will put is all out of our misery when we find out who will be our next manager.

2.) 20 May 2018 22:51:42
Do not worry there is no way Moyes will be appointed. The board knows better than to appoint another manager who will cause that much controversy. Unless something mad happens it will be Silva.

3.) 21 May 2018 11:33:28
The odds only reflect the money being placed by mug punters - the bookies want to ensure they make a profit based purely on what’s been wagered in the market - the odds don’t necessarily reflect who our board actually favour for the position.

4.) 21 May 2018 12:07:33
Yeah pay no attention to odds! S. Lee was telling his mates to put money on them going to West Brom. The odds where 30-1 and then 7-1 before they recently appointed there manager.

5.) 21 May 2018 20:47:29
I would rather we gave Arteta a rubbish than Silva, I've liked all I've read about Arteta's outlook on football, and with his Everton past will understand the fans from the off, we should go for him, and give him. the time to build something over 3-4 seasons.

{Ed025's Note - too big a gamble for me danny..

6.) 22 May 2018 06:23:53
I understand that will be the opinion of most fans Ed, I just can't help feeling this whole Silva affair will blow in our face over time.

{Ed025's Note - all managerial appointments are a gamble danny as sometimes you will get lucky and sometimes not, im looking forward to silva as he plays the game with a bit of style and thats whats been lacking, lets not be so negative and lets see it as a new era and back the guy to the hilt i say mate..

Fellaini going to China would have had him back.

Anthony Taylor man of the match got the crowd off the backs of the players and onto him, how gutted did he look when dcl scored. Taylor Taylor what's the score! Best chant of the season!

Amidst all the business let's not forget we have fended off interest in pickford too. Credit moshiri the board and M n M.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but the cheek of that two faced Gary neville he slaughtered pickford after the Belgium game. Time he got some stick.

Most of what is appearing in the Football media appears to be the work of Phil Space.

Have to disagree it's a good squad of players, the tactics are misguided too reliant on pickford as a playmaker. Zonal defending or man to man makes no difference if no defender attacks the ball. Keane makes more errors than Holgate ever did. Go back to a familiar 442 or 352 get richarlison and dcl upfront.

It is hard to believe that he cannot get a work permit given the connections with Nigeria as a club and city being both commercial and cultural. Seems wrong to me.

As I understand it they have agreed a deal but are waiting to see if others are going to make an offer just maybe he is not our first choice and we aren't his.

With Ash and Davy now gone the battles for 88th minute substitute and unused substitute have now been thrown wide open.
Davy really made the unused substitute position his own one of the best since Alec Cleland.

He showed he has a turn of pace in tackling back in the second half, when it was needed. He never wasted a pass all game, very disciplined positionally. He would be good foil for idrissa or Tom.

The new role for seamus was a masterstroke. A few other tweaks too Bernard playing in the del piero position. Also the change in pace when the ball moved into the Burnley half. Loving it.

Overreaction is the curse of the modern game. It has reached a point where I no longer bother with Sports press and most of the fan reaction sites. Prefer the opinion of the friends I go the game with.

Get cahill or Arteta with a solid second man like Alan Irvine.

Tom deserves a run after his performance against Southampton. In fact the three youngsters did well. Tom has better positional discipline than the rest of our midfielders. Dcl has really filled out looks so much stronger.
