Fonsceca interviewed now according to SSN, after settling for Sam earlier I'd be delighted if I wake up tomorrow with Fonseca in charge.

1.) 28 Nov 2017 07:38:01
wake up mate and welcome big sam fonsecca epl experience u must be joking.

04 Nov 2017 01:04:45
I've heard compensation package with Burnley has been agreed for Dyche. Whoever it is I'll be behind 100%, new manager deserves a clean slate and full support.

1.) 04 Nov 2017 15:26:31
Maybe he's just what we need, he's know to get the best out of what he's got, any top manager will probably want another 150m to strengthen the team which I doubt we'll get. I know our signings aren't bad as they've performed at other clubs so if he can get them playing perhaps we'll have a really strong team. If he can get us safe and playing well then maybe we can have a good crack at the FA Cup this season.

2.) 04 Nov 2017 19:50:13
i will be happy with dyche to be honest my only concern is the step up to a club that expects to challenge top 4 to win the league to win cups that's a massive ask to get us back to were we belong.

3.) 06 Nov 2017 13:02:26
Don't think he'll be expected to challenge the top 4 straight away given where we are now. Would imagine he would have to put a three year plan on paper and present that, then would be measured against progress milestones within that.

24 May 2017 02:58:04
I think we need to get a grip on things, ' an announcement on barkleys future will be made Monday '. 'Everton will no longer make an an announcement on Monday '. Heard nothing today. We're becoming a laughing stock. If we wanna become a top respected side again who are going to attract decent players we need the club to be run properly, I've got a bad feeling that things aren't running smoothly behind the scenes.

1.) 24 May 2017 06:17:40
so let me get this right we sign new multi million sponsorship deals we seem to be on the up and yet because we don't release a statement regarding Barkley we are a laughing stock and things aren't running smoothly Jesus behave will ya.

2.) 24 May 2017 07:14:34
For goodness sake-please try to keep some sort of perspective on these events! I think Everton FC are a long long way from "becoming a laughingstock" . On the contrary, as has already been said, we tend to be seen as a well run club which generally does the right thing and is making genuine progress. None of us know what is happening with Ross Barkley-and that's probably just how it needs to be!

3.) 24 May 2017 08:26:11
Some blues just like to criticise the club whatever they do. You not think Barkley and his agent may have something to do with this?
You really expect it to be like TF deadline day as the clock ticks down to 'right he's sold'

This should be the most exciting summer we have had in many years. Put the negativity away and try to enjoy it.

4.) 24 May 2017 08:55:14
Get a grip, GuernseyBlue.

5.) 24 May 2017 09:33:20
Sorry boys. That post was put up after a good few pints. Just want this rom and ross situation sorted so we can move on with or without them.

6.) 24 May 2017 09:53:15
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ beer and football 2 things that bring our inner deepest passion out we have all been there including me tonight as my kopite mate is coming around to watch the final which should be fun as after 10 or so beers we like to let's just say have a lively conversation about just how deluded they are.

7.) 24 May 2017 09:53:55
To be fair if you read what Koeman actually said vs what the media reported they are two completely different things.

He said that he was meeting with the board on Monday and that a statement would be made. He said the meeting was happening on Monday, not that a statement would be made on Monday.

8.) 24 May 2017 12:29:00
Sorry I agree with Olleblue but not suprised at you all defending the club it's like as if you are ridiculed if you say anything negative .
I posted something similar on Everton Banter
Sorry but we are extremely slow at making any statements we dither we make transfers at the last minute that go wrong .
As for Barclay EFC should have given him his marching orders 5 pm on Sunday night no excuses he should have signed months ago
He will find as I am now hearing he has lost sympathy with nearly all supporters.

9.) 24 May 2017 13:09:04
The only reason to make a statement would be to say he's signed the contract. If he hasn't then releasing a statement to confirm that would drastically reduce what we'd get for him because potential suitors would know that he wants out and we want him out.

Based on that, if we did make a statement to say he hasn't signed a contract and we're selling him, I'd say that would make us a massive laughing stock.

Can't understand why people are so concerned about what happens with him. I'd rather have Β£25m in the bank to spend on a player who turns quicker than the QE2 anyway. Even if he does stay I reckon we'll bring in someone better and more consistent anyway so he wouldn't be first choice. I can't spend another season hoping we'll finally see the player that we all think is in there, but getting frustrated.

10.) 24 May 2017 14:30:00
The club are in no position to give him his marching orders. If he wants to stay there is nothing the club can do about it. Besides that, whether he stays or not, we will be finding replacements this summer.

11.) 24 May 2017 22:07:05
Ha ha it's not really defending the club trebor more just repeating exactly what the transcript said and not what the papers wrote.

Gotta agree with Toffee Ace too. Releasing a statement saying that we are selling him would probably not be wise.

05 Jan 2017 13:59:48
Ademola Lookman done and dusted good stuff.

19 Jun 2016 22:01:35
Another good performance from Swiss keeper Sommer. Any Eds know if we'd have a decent chance of signing him or if he's being watched by any other clubs?

{Ed025's Note - there are no links with us oli and borussia will look to keep him as he still has 3 years left on his contract..

1.) 20 Jun 2016 00:49:27
Cheers Ed.

2.) 20 Jun 2016 10:38:41
Like so many goalkeepers, he impresses as a shot-stopper, but doesn't look as good coming for crosses.

3.) 20 Jun 2016 11:59:32
Never caught a thing if he was under pressure. There are far better keepers out there than him.

4.) 20 Jun 2016 14:49:15
Didn't really pay close enough attention. We defo need a keeper who can deal with crosses after 10 years of Howard.

The timing of Barkley's departure on the day of an FA Cup derby is going to make it a very an emotional night. Let's just hope we go for it and get the win.

23 Dec 2017 16:09:10
Nerve wracking stuff there, hard work sitting in the Park End for the last 20 mins. Great organised display though, brilliant defensively again, against one of the best teams in possession in the league. Shame Keane didn't put that header away though.

1.) 23 Dec 2017 19:21:03
10 yards they said, from where I sat he looked a lot closer than that, still, really really chuffed. Not wishing to jump on a bandwagon but I reckon this January Window will see a Schneiderlin replacement come in. The lad probably means well but his form is awful.

2.) 24 Dec 2017 05:13:45
To be fair mate Schneiderin had a great game today, I've been his biggest critic but credit where it's due.

3.) 24 Dec 2017 06:24:29
Snids was my Mom today. I can't remember him giving the ball away once and his tackling and tracking was superb.

16 Dec 2017 17:44:53
Good results for us today with Leicester and Watford losing. Hopefully we'll be in 9th by Monday night and 8th for the New Year. Then sign a few players and push for top 6/ 7. Fingers crossed.

1.) 17 Dec 2017 09:32:04
We can dare to dream again! I am sleeping better now ☺️.

14 Dec 2017 20:35:15
Great to see the 3 new contracts for Holgate, Davies and Kenny. Hopefully they're be here for a good 10 years.

{Ed025's Note - lets hope so mate..

02 Dec 2017 18:22:08
Good win that, was great to see the two Sams constantly giving instructions from the sideline. Always hated Sammy Lee for being a kopite but he's a professional and you can't knock his attitude. Just a shame it was only 2-0 because I bet Gylfi 1st scorer 3-0 at 60-1.

1.) 02 Dec 2017 18:44:02
Water under the bridge mate, Big Sam and Little Sam in to help Everton, good enough for me, be nice to see them doing that against our neighbours next week lol.

2.) 02 Dec 2017 18:54:07
That might be a bridge too far against them mate but we can only hope.

3.) 02 Dec 2017 19:02:09
Never say never mate, don't forget we have the Two Sams now lol.

4.) 02 Dec 2017 19:47:09
3 Sams if Sam Byrne is still around.

I think we should loan him to another PL team for the rest of the season and try and get him some regular game time. Same with Sandro. Both could turn out to be good PL players.

If those stats are true bluey then there is no excuse for that. Absolutely pathetic. If we don't beat Wba and Leicester then action has to be taken.

Solid at the back? 4-0. No shots on target? He fked up against bmouth and wba, he needs 4 points at least from next two home games other wise questions have to be asked.

There's 10 players I'd get rid of before Niasse though.

Couldn't agree more bluey it's frightening to see Palace, W'Ham, Hudd, etc playing far better football than us.

Can't offer a contract extension on the back of one possible result. Unless something dramatic happens results and performance wise, we've got to keep our eyes open for a top up and coming manager in the summer.

He'll definitely improve us and I think he'll be hungry to succeed so I think it's worth the gamble. Bolasie, Theo, Sig and Tosun should be a good forward quartet with Vlasic and Lookman rotating in the wide positions.

The corner should of been defended better either way. That would have gone in if pickford stayed on his line. What happened to putting players on the posts?
