Just seen siggy possibly out next game, if so i would play bernard in number 10 role, Richiarlison left wing an tosun up front. Or would you play bernard number 10 role an lookmam in on left? Good to have options at least.

If siggy can't play then i'd drop richarlison to 10 and touson up front, , keep the rest of the team as it was.

I think Bernard is wasted on the wing, I would try the guy in the number 10 role as well Ed.
{Ed025's Note - i think he would be more suited to that role bignev, but siggy has really stepped up this season and has been one of our better players so will be hard to dislodge mate..

I agree but If Siggerson is out as expected for a few weeks, I would try Bernard there.

What am abdolute pleasure it was watching that, the way every player fought for the ball, the urgency levels were 100% from the off, and we completely out played arsenal there . Although calvert lewin doesn't score much he offers a lot in that team recently, snd bernards work rate is superb . Happy blue today.

This was our best performance since the Moyes years. The whole team playing as one, winning the second balls and nullifying the higher skill levels of the opposition, this was exiting.
Have to agree with so many comments so many great displays for 90 mins.
It was nice to see defenders booting the ball away instead of trying to be clever and giving the ball away. There are times for pretty football but we do not have the skill levels of some sides in this league, the influence of Jags was there for all to see, great display from him. Did Coleman play better without being captain?
If we continue like this then Silva can stay with my blessing, I hope today was a new beginning although it started in the second half against Chelsea.

Think our best was West Ham DC, this came a close second. This is like the 80's and latterly Royle to be fair, that Kendal Team didn't give Teams a rest, doubling up in the tackle at every opportunity. Lately we have discovered some of that era. Defence for me still gets caught out to easily.

Hey DarkClouds, its nice to see your new positive response. Welcome to being on this side of things again. Sometimes its tough being Blue. But right now we are starting to see progress and a plan coming together. I don't know if Silva will get to sign Zouma, Gomez or any other class players? But I know that if he continues as well as his first season in signing quality and motivating the players, he will do ok. Yes there was a defensive blip whereby we seemed to not be able to keep a clean sheet. but now that has been sorted (I hope) , we seem to look like a team again.

Gueye best player on the pitch, walcott has been none existent. Seen as we can't find a way to break them down surely bernard is worth a second half. Heavy night last night judging by some of our passing .

Think the lad Richarlison should go back out wide where he can do a lot of damage. For that though we need someone to lead the line, with Gomez playing the way he is at the moment and Sigurdson to, why not give Tosun a go. That was a good test and we gave one of the best Teams in the Prem a good game and it was a good game if not a good result for us.
{Ed002's Note - Actually this is a great point - the problem arises when you overstock in one position with good players and the only way to give them all a go is to play them out of position.}

Confident we can grind out result today, but its going to be tough . Just seen the line ups and that's a strong team they have, just hope bernard and walcot turn up today because we are going to need everyone at 100%, can't afford any passengers. i'm going to say 1-1 Richiarlson.

Vardy, obviously these are both the wrong side of 30, but would do a job. I think we definitely need a proven premiership striker, and no mpre hopeful punts on strikers fron other leagues. I do actually like tosun though, just bad run start of season which shot his confidence. The lad hasn't become a bad finisher over night.

I agree, playing short corners which end up going out for throw ins is a total waste when you have a 6ft 5 goal scoring centre half in the box. The second half that was probably best chance we had of scoring. Bernard an walcott both been wasteful. Think its fair to give lookman a start he's impressed when coming on.

Really hope its not true, not down to the fact he's a bad player, i believe we have the right mix of players and its going to be hard to fit Gomes and bernard in without being overloaded with more players than we actually need.

Toxic for being happy Martina has gone? i'm happy most of the people we got rid of our out the door. that's not to say i don't wish them well but i'm happy they don't play for us no more and we are moving forward wirh better quality, committed players.

Looks like a few players come out of that game injured, sig s Richiarlson, so maybe a few forced changes will happen either way, if so its down to them lads to take there chance. Tell you what though boys, its good tha we have some genuine quality to come in if needed. We can all remember some of the squads of old, i'm not going to name and disrespect previous players, but this is our best squad for a long time.

I agree about Tosun, i think he deserves a run in the team the way we are currently playing, Richiarlison i'd not a striker, he would still get the goals from being on the wing the way he plays.
