Flamini OG in the 90th minute now I genuinly have hope we can finish top 4, we should beat fulham while arsenal should lose to man city then if we was to beat them at goodison that would put us just behind them on goal difference with 6 games remaining. I genuinly believe we can finish top 4 and anyone know when Jags comes back.

MinatoEFC

1.) We are only 3 behind them on goal difference now, if we beat Fulham, they lose to city and we get a win when they visit us then I think its safe to say we would be above them in the league and goal difference! Then all we have to do is match or better there's results for the remaining games and were 4th :-)

2.) We could be ahead of them on good potentially. their good is +19 ours is +16 if they lose City & Us 1-0 that brings their good down to +17 we win 1-0 against Fulham and them our good goes to +18. BOOM!

3.) 25 Mar 2014 23:18:04
I realised the goal difference thing after I postedit so yeah potentially we could be above themand I think the only games we have that we can't 100% win in man city at home and potentially arsenal at home but I think we can beat arsenal I shall dream of champions league nights and proper european football

Spurs lost to arsenal so all we need to do is win one of our games in hand (preferably both as they are relatively easy games) and we will be in 5th place so it may not be champions league but I will take it and I think everyone would have at the start of the season. The future is looking bright with roberto in charge but next season will be the real test

MinatoEFC

1.) We will finish 5th. Look what we are up against. A crap Spurs team managed by Tim nice but dim. And the worst united team in the premier league era managed by a clown.

Any lower than 5th will be a failure for Martinez.

2.) 16 Mar 2014 23:51:49
I tottally agree with you but at the start of the season I would have taken 6th or 7th and lots of people at that time were worried about finishing somewhere around 11th-8th which I thought we would be around the 8th-6th spot if martinez doesn't finish 5th now it will be a dissapointing but I'm sure we will finish atleast 6th and we will finally get some european football again :)

3.) Sorry Mike but anything lower than 5th will be seen as a failure for Martinez er I don't think so mate. This season is a transitional season for us. New manager new style to be as high as we are is a great bonus. 5th would be great but we would need all the players to stay fit and on form with results going our way, If that doesn't happen and we slip a few places I for one will not see it as a failure of RM as a manager.

4.) 17 Mar 2014 12:40:55
Sa90 I think Mike may be saying this with his tongue in his cheek a bit mate

I hope vellios gets a go upfront. Hope he does well and he gets more of a look in when lukaku and traore go. If he plays upfront I've no idea who the sub striker would be

MinatoEFC

1.) Well, Vellios hasn't gone out on loan - for whatever reason - or been transferred permanently, so I guess it's up to him to impress the coaching staff in training and then impress even more so when he does get a chance in the first team. So far, RM hasn't been a bad judge of our players, so there's surely a good reason why some players in our squad aren't getting selected.

I think drmic has already agreed something with arsenal and I think we could spend 11m on something much better like putting it towards a bid for lukaku and if qpr don't go up remy has a buyout clause of 10.5m and he's only 24 and has 13 goals this season so I would take remy rather than drmic and if we get champions league I think we would have a bit more money to spend. I think caulker is a class defender and would welcome any of those freebies, never really heard of that mane fellow though.

Good back up for mccarthy and barry but I'm not sure if he's any better than gibson and if we should be focusing elsewhere, unless we have targets lined up for more important positions and we have some cash leftover

I read that and its kind of hypocritical because they have two loanees and we have four but traore only played one game and that was in the fa cup, its just a case of our loanees are better than theirs and the author of that was clearly very upset after we embarresed the club that is so evidently in a different league to us and I find it funny that pardew had the nerve to say that about us

Qualitywise probably but morally no, he is probably a good enough player to get into the squad and could do a job but I would not want someone like him at our club besides it would warn off any potential investors (if we have any)

David Moyes is a brilliant manager and I don't get how some people on this site are deluded enough o think otherwise, remember all the good times we had such as bottling It in the cup finals? Remember 2009. Quality. Or whatabout the classics such as when we failed to qualify for the champions league after losing to villareal in the qualifyer. Just magnificent. Tactical Genius are the words that come to mind. What a classic. Moyes was a everton hero and legend and we should all have david moyes tattoos and posters around the house. A david moyes shrine should be built outside goodison park to commemorate his greatness and we should have to pray to it every night. Tactial Mastermind Moyesy.
