He's gone! Just confirmed by the club. Now let's all get behind whoever comes in!

Looks like a one and a half year contract. That's according to Jim White who has had it from Moshiri apparently. Now it's all done let's get behind the team!

Leicester Toffee

1.) 29 Nov 2017 13:45:39
And the manager.

2.) 29 Nov 2017 14:47:05
Well said, let's hope everyone gets the ground bouncing tonight and show some of our new players what the atmosphere can be like at our place.

3.) 29 Nov 2017 15:12:59
Good post Bobslad fully agree.

Anybody know what's happening with Rooney?

Seems to be dragging on and on!

Leicester Toffee

1.) 25 Jun 2018 12:09:17
I'm not surprised it's dragging on LT, it's a massive decision for him. Not only in footballing terms but in his personal life too. I'm sure there are talks going on behind the scenes on a daily basis, between ALL parties, and we will know the final decision as soon as they do.

So much for the leaks of playing Man City on the first day! 😂😂😂

We have been given a pretty kind start to the season in my opinion!

Reading between the lines I still don't think it's clear that Sam will be staying. All he said is that he's received clarity on next season. That could be that he's been told that he's not required but he's never going to say that to the press. With regards to arranging pre season then surely this is done by others at the club. I know the manager will have a say but our pre season has been similar for a number of years regardless of who's in charge. More to come me thinks!

Leicester Toffee

1.) 27 Apr 2018 13:23:55
Agree mate, he will be gone soon.

2.) 27 Apr 2018 14:52:22
I hope he is going but I've just got this little voice in the back of my mind saying that he's been told he can see out his contract, I hope I'm wrong we can't put up with the type of football he serves us each week. And also concerning transfer would players actually come when in 12 months time if and when we get a new manager they might be surplus to requirements just so many factors atm think we will find out after that final game.

3.) 27 Apr 2018 15:13:35
I personally think Sam knows he won't be staying, I think the contract was to give an illusion of longer term status instead of his usual fire fighting job.
Why I think this is that whenever you see him interviewed he seems distant to the club and its fans, you never feel a togetherness or a feeling of passion for the club unlike DM or even RM did.
For me he is just passing has done the job and will be gone, ask yourself about the alleged questionnaire situation was it a mistake?
The club know he is not widely accepted by the fans and although it is not our decision EFC normally will take this consideration seriously.

4.) 27 Apr 2018 16:19:10
I can't believe that anyone on the board are happy to keep this self opinionated tosser as manager of our club. Bill you have grown up watching the great players and style of football over the years. Surely you can't be happy with the dross that's on show now.

5.) 27 Apr 2018 16:25:38
Sorry boys, I don’t agree. I want him gone - but I don’t think the press conference leaves much to the imagination. He thinks he’s staying, he’s planning preseason and for the ins and outs of players. Yes, it could be a smokescreen, but looks to me like he’s been given the green light to crack on.

6.) 27 Apr 2018 16:33:38
He not have got a clear green light from FM, but it doesn’t sound like he got a definite red stop light either - hopefully the lights are now at least at amber and he’ll be halted soon.

How does Robbie Savage keep his job! He was a terrible footballer and he's an even worse commentator!

Leicester Toffee

1.) 07 Dec 2017 20:50:49
He has the negatives in a safety deposit box.

2.) 08 Dec 2017 06:47:01
bit harsh that Leicester. He is quite a genuine bloke actually. What he is, is honest, which some, you obviously being one take umbrage to. Would rather have him than some of those other Lemon sucking so called 'experts'.

3.) 08 Dec 2017 20:37:40
Savage is not a genuine bloke or a good pundit/ commentator, he’s awful.

02 Dec 2017 17:24:08
Crisis, what crisis? 😂😂😂.

Leicester Toffee

1.) 02 Dec 2017 17:29:27
Last two games mate two wins two clean sheets 6 points,6 goals even the Doom Mrechants can't complain about that, as you say what crisis.

Hoddle has been out of the management game for too long now in my opinion. We don't have time for experiments at present. We have done that with Unsworth and look where we are. I would have loved it to have worked out for Davey but the mess and unbalanced side that Koeman has left behind has made it practically impossible for a good, young and inexperienced manager to get anything from the position. Although there are a lot that really don't want Sam he is the best option we have to stabalise and move us away from the bottom.

Rejected! Swansea are doing their best to unsettle a player that already wants to leave further. If we walk away from this and buy someone else I can't see another club paying 50m for Sig and they will be left with one seriously p***ed off player and that will do them more damage than good.

You have to consider that the team under performed last season and maybe some of the players that didn’t feature last year will come in and be like new signings. Silva sees them every day so I’m happy to go on his opinion.

After what happened with Silva when he already had a job and we approached him then I don’t think that will happen again. If Silva is given the job, which I think will be a step in the right direction, then we have to all get behind him. Anything will be better than Sam!

You mean the Rafa that already has a job? We as fans have to get real and accept that we are where we are at present. Silva is probably our best option at present and would be a massive step up from Sam.

Maybe the reason that we are not going for a left back is that the management have been impressed with what they’ve seen from Garbutt in training?
