Look we have to be realistic here are we in a postion to attract an ancelotti type manager? And would he come to us?, i really don't think we are. Unsworth and dunc have the respect of the playes and most of all, us the fans. I've never known toxic atmospheres like we've had with the last 2 managers, even in moyes' worst days it was never as bad . These 2 fellas gave everything for our club, put these 2 in charge and the grand old lady will rock again . coyb.

He can always stay out of work until Wenger quits. I see no reason why he wouldn't come. 1st season is now of lowered expectations. As people seem to believe this is a relegation battle, a top 10 finish is surely success.
His English is good so no worries there. No compensation to pay. And he knows the league. We would never be able to sign him from a big job but as he's on the dole. I think we would have a chance. It's not like he would be coming to a club that isn't trying to be a big club again.

I have never been so down about our club as this season, at times heartbroken, but all this today I am like a kid in a toy shop. So excited, very optimistic where going to get it right this time. coyb 💪💪💪.

Thanks for whatever you contributed for avoiding relegation ( a source of debate for us all) but No thanks - couldn't take anymore of you and your football.
Typical EFC though - no clarity on a replacement - Unsworth will be getting twitchy.

We haven't got a minute Johny. Transfer window opens tomorrow, World Cup getting in the way, Rooney needs sorting out and no DOF resolution.
Let's be honest Sam hasn't come as a surprise so when do we get moving on things we know need doing now, not in a fortnight or a month from now.

I think those are fair points. A repeat of the post Koeman saga would be clear evidence that lessons were not learnt there. That would be in nobody's interests and unforgivable.

We can actually move on and regain some optimism and hope again. Sam and Everton never fitted he didn’t get what we are about. If he was given a contract like David Moyes at West Ham until the end of the season with his job solely to keep us safe then I think he would have been appreciated and say thank you for the stability but we need another manager to take us to the next level enjoy your retirement. We don’t know the ins and outs maybe Sam wouldn’t accept the short term deal and wanted the longer one to get the pay off.
Moshiri should not promise him hope of a project for next season and giving Sam clarity. Maybe they both new what the outcome was going to be but it’s like a game of poker and not revealing their cards. Maybe if everyone was a bit more honest it would be more amicable.
Regardless we can look forward now and be positive about the potentially next 3yrs being exciting moving ground and bring through our youth players.

Havent posted since SA was appointed, didn't want to post negative comments in the early weeks . Like i said total and utter con when its comes to managing . No better than koeman, out of his depth . The problem is Chalkie whoever plays left mid spends the whole game covering for him. Lately it's been Siggy and his form has gone right out the window. Today it was Vlasic and look what happened to him.

Take your point, but we would of stayed up . Just showed the board had no plan b in place after the Silva debacle and in your opinion if
DU was out of his depth they let him continue. The board or maybe certain individuals made the choice of SA . He is and never will be the right choice of manager for our great club .

SA is talking like he's some sort of saviour, truth of the matter is we had a really early/ tough start to our season just look at our first 7 or 8 league games. We also had Europa qualifiers sandwiched inbetween . Question is did FM and BK panic to soon? Truth is had unsworth had stayed in charge we would still be safe now. We all know what alladyce is all about, but someone at Everton gave him this job knowing that, dour football, brown envelopes, all about me etc etc that is where the problem lies . The board gave him the job fellow blues. coyb.
